Holiday rentals with a kayak in Caddo lake

We really enjoyed our time at the lake over Christmas—the view was stunning, the cabin was comfortable and clean, and our outings around the area were fun and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place for a few days of retreat.

We felt at home from the moment we walked in. House was very clean and kitchen well stocked. The pool table was a plus!! Would love to go back and spend some time exploring the area. Very peaceful weekend.

This was a great location for my four-man crew, who was in the area for work. They had a comfortable and relaxing stay with enough privacy to unwind after a long work day. It was very easy to get in touch with the host, and there were no issues with the instructions provided.

Awesome location, beautiful and soothing view. Absolutely loved the place. We found 2 of the couches hard to sit in comfortably, but who stays inside much with this beautiful outdoors. The internet is not secured with password so you will have to hotspot. I would definitely stay here again, owners were absolutely cordial and awesome couple. I give the place a 9 out of 10 stars.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The house is beautiful, well thought out design and very clean. The sleeping area is separate from gathering area and that worked wonderful for napping toddlers. The bathrooms are very spacious and well lit. The laundry room is great when you are staying for over a week with family. We even got to enjoy the pool since it hit 85* in February. Many hours spent in the hot tub Beds are awesome and very comfortable. The house is not at all cluttered and very tastefully decorated. The view of the lake was so peaceful and felt so private. Had a little luck fishing in the lake but mostly just enjoyed family time in this lovely home. GW is so kind and welcoming, he makes you fell like family. If we are ever in the area again we will see if this property is available to make more family memories.

We love it!. We were 4 adults and 2 kids, we felt very comfortable, Alexandra's place is beautiful, it's just like the pictures. It has a lot of amenities, the front view lake that we felt in love, with the deck for our morning coffee, the kayaks, the grill, the full equipped kitchen, toys to entertain my kiddos, the nature sorroundings and we really like that it feels private. Alexandra was responsive and helpful, a great host. We would definitely stay here in the future if we are in the area.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Such a great place to get away for the weekend! Plenty of room for our party. Such a peaceful location.

This is our second year to stay here for our “Cousin Christmas Reunion.” Great space, awesome view of lake; it’s wonderful that you can sit and peacefully have a cup of coffee while little kids run around safely outside.

This place was great. I booked it for my wife and I 11 year anniversary. We loved being able to launch our kayaks there and the views were awesome. Jennifer was a great host that responded quickly when we had a question. The place was clean and gave a home like feel. Plus Jefferson is just a short drive and the restaurants were awesome. I would definitely recommend this place to my friend.

We decided to take a last minute trip to Caddo Lake State Park and are so glad we found this place! Perfect location, just a few minutes away from the park entrance. The place itself was clean and had everything that we needed for our stay.

Charming, well-appointed cottage. Clean and equipped with almost any amenity one needs. Serene and fascinating surroundings with bayou-type feel; quiet and restful.

One of the nicest and best laid out places I’ve stayed! Caddo is amazing and so is this property.

We had a wonderful time at Keith's place! It was the perfect blend of relaxation and fun. My daughters enjoyed concrete chalk drawings and fishing off the deck/dock. They caught a ton of bream and catfish, and my oldest caught one just shy of 40 inches long! The weather got pretty chilly so we really enjoyed making fires - both inside and outside, and the table, next to the huge windows overlooking the lake, was a great place for the whole fam to put together a Pokemon puzzle. As most know mobile data isn't amazing around the lake. We've got Verizon, and calls were great; We were able to send/receive media texts... just be patient. The pontoon boat we had was a little too big for the nice boat lift, although there's also a perfect spot on the right side of the dock to tie up the boat. We brought a bunch of fishing gear, and it was really nice to have two storage rooms to lock up our gear, either on the boat house, or under the large car-port. We'll definitely be coming back!!!

The layout is perfect for a family or group vacation with several cabins on the island. Outdoor is perfect for socializing and enjoying the Louisiana sunrises with plenty of chairs, swings, and porches. The cabin was an older lake house so there were some bugs and dust like you’d expect on porches. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Perfect set up for a family with lots of kids as there are only two bedrooms but lots of extra beds. Plenty of games and seating. May be a bit on the pricey side compared to other air bnbs of similar quality. Would stay again.

Comfortable and cozy! I was in the area for work, and slept like a baby in the nice bed. Very quick response when I had a few questions and very friendly!

The place was very peaceful, tucked in from the main road giving you the private feeling. The home was very clean, felt new, and had all the amenities we needed. It was perfect for our family. We enjoyed the fire pit and lake view outside. There are a couple kayaks available on-site but we did not use them as it was too cold outside. The host Evolve was great with instructions and accommodation and very responsive. I defiantly recommend this place and will consider this place again when in the area.
