My great-grandfather bought the land to make a small wooden house where his wife, my great-grandmother, could put her swimsuit in a private place. He finally decided to build a house and it was the first beach apartment in Puerto de Sóller; then everything was in the countryside and he was able to choose the best views and location of the entire promenade. This wonderful jewel with history is located a few meters away from Portopetro. This workshop belonged originally to a carpenter who restored wooden boats. The house is built from the original rock that forms part of this space's heart. Thus, rock, wood, and iron make up the house's aesthetics and structure, giving the sensation of being on a ship that seems to house a cave inside.
