This was the perfect addition to my wedding weekend! Julie made it extra special with a welcome sign and bottle of champagne to great my guests and I! The place is absolutely stunning, so warm, cozy and just what we needed for a wedding stay with the bridal party. It surpassed my expectations and Julie and her partner were wonderful - we even had a tour and learned some history on the place. Can’t wait to come back !

Mazba’s place was so beautiful and peaceful! We really enjoyed staying here, and had some great moments sitting by the fireplace. It was a lovely, spacious, and clean home, and I noticed the floors were also heated as well which was amazing. The neighbourhood is so quiet too!

We loved the quiet, peaceful surroundings, the spaciousness of the cottage, and the beautiful views from every window. We love music and spent a couple of evenings just sipping wine and listening to music through the sound system routed through the ceilings. The kitchen was beyond well equipped! Further, Donna delivered extra pellets for the stove before we had to ask, and Erik generously mitigated the problem with the hot tub. Truly special hosts who care about their guests and their comfort.

Beautiful, peaceful spot, on the beach with beautiful river view, miles of hiking trails literally a few steps away. Just a gorgeous spot to enjoy Autumn. The house is lovely, clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Hosts are very responsive. We had a wonderful week here. Highly recommend!

This was a lovely home. I would definitely come back. Hennie was very accommodating and quick to respond to questions. My only regret was not being booking for a longer time!!!

The girls had a wonderful stay at the North Sky Retreat. Julie was very helpful and her house was just perfect for four people to stay, each with their own bedroom. The house was exceptionally well stocked with supplies, linen, towels and those extras you may need. Julie accommodated the dog that accompanied on this trip as well. The fresh eggs were a bonus and the free range chickens were fun to watch. The grounds were lovely and the walking path was a perfect was to take in the nature around the house. Hopefully this stay will become a tradition! Thank you!

Our stay at the cabin on Golden Lake was absolutely perfect! As always, we were warmly greeted by Cindy, whose friendly smile and attentive care make every visit feel extra special. The cabin was already warm upon arrival, and its cozy ambiance welcomed us for a relaxing weekend getaway. We were delighted to find delicious Lindor chocolates waiting for us—a sweet and thoughtful touch! The log cabin itself is absolutely charming, with its 3 beautifully appointed bedrooms. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the cabin was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The terrace offers stunning views of Golden Lake, where you can enjoy ice fishing or skating right outside your door. Plus, we discovered an incredible skating trail in the nearby woods—an absolute must-try for outdoor enthusiasts. We can’t wait to come back again. This stay was absolutely incredible for a romantic getaway. My partner and I spent 4 nights here in February. The location is very private, with stunning views and lots of nature sounds. The amenities were fantastic- everything we could have needed was there. A large fridge and lots of cooking utensils/cookware were present for our use. We made use of the hot tub every night- the host provides a how-to guide for it as well. The woodstove is a lovely addition on cooler nights, as well as for ambiance. My only critique would be once it gets dark out, the lighting inside is quite minimal. We were working on a puzzle and found it hard to see once it got darker outside. All in all, a fantastic location (we stayed here surrounding our visit to the Nordik spa) and really responsive and helpful hosts. Thanks again!!

Rachels place was amazing! Hard to believe, but it was even nicer in person than the pictures! The house was beautifully decorated, clean, and homey. We didn't end up using the pool (lack of time and weather), but everything was set up for us. We did use the hot tub, which was fantastic! Thank you, Rachel, for the hospitality and for allowing us to experience your little home away from home. 😊

We had a busy time with two family events and really enjoyed returning to the house to relax and enjoy your amazing back yard. It is truly a peaceful oasis! Our 2 families had a FABULOUS time whilst at Paul's lovely home! Plenty of bedrooms and common areas so that we never felt like we were on top of each other, even during a wickid snowstorm. 4 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 wee ones were never bored - the spacious indoor pool was the clincher for a perfect winter getaway - not to mention hottub and sauna were huge hits as well for the older, tired and aching bodies. The gourmet kitchen was full of technology that made our lives easier. Paul supplied a hutch chock full of games, both video and board - something for everyone. When we had questions, Paul was super responsive and even came down to help us with a few things. We wouldn't hesitate for a second to book with Paul again - no complaints whatsoever!! Thank you for a memorable Family Day long weekend!!

Josseline was a great host, keeping me informed of snow clearing plans during a blizzard and offering assistance if required, without being in any way intrusive. Her AirBnB was lovely and bright, private and convenient. The entire place was clean and comfortable and is a perfect size for one or two to relax or work in.

Peaceful and cozy cabin with everything you need. The whole space was great, but some details we loved were the fireplace, record player and the very comfortable bedding. The big windows were perfect for watching the snowstorm pass by.

Greg’s place is a perfect cottage: homey enough to feel comfortable yet special enough to feel like a treat. The view out the huge window is a lovely mix of sloped pathway/stairs, trees, lake, island in lake and more lake in the distance. The main room has the most comfortable couch and the 500 movies include something for everyone. We especially loved the wood-fired sauna down by the lake. I hope to stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay. Our family needed a quiet place to rest up and recharge our batteries. Even our dog was able to join us, which was great. Damon was very helpful and provided us with all necessary information prior to coming so we would be aware in advance. He answered all our questions. We would definitely like to come back again.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this cabin, and we cannot thank our hosts enough for their incredible hospitality! From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Our car got stuck in the snow, and they didn’t hesitate to come pick us up—along with all our belongings—to ensure we made it safely to the cabin. When it was time to leave, they did the same, which was such a kind and thoughtful gesture. Throughout our stay, they were always quick to respond to any request. We especially appreciated the firewood they brought us every day, ensuring we stayed warm and cozy. The cabin itself was beautiful, peaceful, and exactly what we were hoping for—a perfect winter getaway! We definitely got more than we paid for! James was very responsive and kind and his property had everything we needed. It had an ample supply of firewood and it was so peaceful - the view to the lake was absolutely mesmerising. Our two shih-tzus felt right at home. It was an amazing staycation for us. The kitchen was fully stocked and drinking water was provided for. We are now making plans to come back in the summer and also fall. Our last day we had the pleasure of meeting James and he was very nice! Thank you James and wifey for your beautiful property. We can’t wait to be back!
