We had an unforgettable weekend stay at this remarkable Airbnb nestled amidst the mountains. The serene natural surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring our comfort throughout our stay. One of the highlights was unwinding in the hot tub under the stars, a truly magical experience. We also enjoyed using the pizza oven, which added a fun and delicious touch to our evenings. The tranquility of the location, combined with the beauty of nature, made our stay truly special. We highly recommend this mountain retreat to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway with top-notch amenities and outstanding hospitality.

What a peaceful place definitely coming back

Lovely location right by the beach with loads of shops and restaurants nearby. The house was lovely and very clean, had all the basics and is surrounded by other residence but still very secluded which we loved. Nolene was very friendly and helpful from beginning to end.

Our weekend in Kalk Bay staying at this beautiful and unique pad was absolutely perfect. We were welcomed in by a huge pod of thousands of dolphins in False Bay which was incredible. We were absolutely thrilled upon arrival to find a gorgeous home - stone, glass and wood with lots of local features and character. We loved spending hours on the deck soaking up the views and Kalk Bay vibe. It is in the perfect location in Kalk Bay - high enough to have amazing views of the mountain, harbour and ocean, and low enough to have easy access via stone steps to the wonderful shops, restaurants and bakeries in the village. We loved our walks along the seaside and our swims in the refreshing tidal pools, all within easy walk of this cottage. The hospitality from Greg, and Jane, was so warm and welcoming with lots of special touches to help us enjoy our weekend. This is a 10/10 experience and a stay that I highly recommend. This is going to become one of my favourite getaways!

Gillian was a fantastic host, the cabin was spectacular and looked exactly what the images showed, super clean and had everything we needed. Thoroughly enjoyed a very peaceful weekend away in the forest :-)

I stayed at Bronwyn’s for a few weeks, it was a nice calm and green space that was a good base in Cape Town. Bronwyn was a really considerate and communicative host.

Excellent, the host was so nice and accomodating, the location was stunning, the equipments great, we had such a great time and was the perfect start of our honeymoon. We would definitely be back, and we loved to possibility of ordering things online for complementing our stay. Thanks to all the team.

We will definitely return to enjoy the peace & tranquility that this hidden gem has to offer. It has all the qualities of a 5 star stay. A perfect getaway where one feels spoiled by the relaxed and scenic ambience along with the carefully selected decor of rustic meets modern. It catered for our every need. Our overall stay was more than great, and the hosts are super friendly and helpful. Our pup felt so at home because it felt like home to us..Pity we could not stay longer.

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage is very cosy with great views of the sea, a perfect base to relax and unwind. It’s a short walk/drive to the beach as well as a lovely coffee shop & deli. The cottage is also ideally situated for day trips to explore the area. Can’t wait to come back!

A lovely and cosy hide away very close to downtown Capetown, easy to reach using Uber. Stylishly decorated. Need to be able to handle steep stairs. Lovely view from a romantic terrace.

Carol was a very gracious host always making sure we were ok and if we needed anything just to let her know .She was open and forth coming .Her place is a little paradise up against the mountain, and very family friendly as there were animals and a pool with pool table and fuse ball for the kids .The chill area is very inviting with lots of seating ,a braai area close to the pool ,with 3 fire places scattered and lots of pretty lighting. The cabin was very comfortable and had all and more than was needed for self catering . She is a thoughtful host and very creative with her decor. I would definitely recommend staying at her place.

Vanessa is a sweetheart. Very friendly and welcoming. We felt at home. She offered a free breakfast which was delicious. Everything was just lovely. I am definitely coming back.

The area is peaceful and beautiful, close to the beach and lovely for neighbourhood walks. It is close to the Noordhoek Farm Village which has lots of good restaurants, a great deli and ice cream shop. Lovely for a weekend away or longer.

Beautiful cabin with spectacular views. Hennie was a fantastic host who was very flexible and had fast, responsive communication. The cabin was clean, spacious and homely, with an incredible decking with views across False Bay. Around a 30 minute walk to Gordon’s Bay which was convenient, would definitely stay again next time we’re in South Africa!

We really loved our stay here - the place was spacious, well equipped and well thought out. It had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. It’s private & quiet with a lovely outdoor space, a private pool and hot tub. We would love to stay again!

We had an amazing time! The cottage is exactly like the pictures in a wonderful setting and very private. Thera and Tania did everything to make us feel welcome and comfortable. I wish I could have stayed longer!

We had a great time. It is a good location, just in between Stellenbosch and the beach and National Parks, that offer hiking tours. Also, for those who like, great wine tasting opportunities. Thank you very much!

It’s a great place, equipped with basic but essential appliances and very clean. Denise was friendly and proactive with communication. The beach is a few minutes away by car - with quite a number of restaurants to explore😊.

We had a lovely private peaceful stay, the view from the top was so beautiful! The cabin is exactly how it is on the pictures. The sauna, ice bath and the outdoor lounge were my highlights especially after running two oceans ultra marathon, exactly what we needed for recovery. Franziska and Will really made us feel at home. The welcome wine 🍷 you gave us , never tasted so good after our run 😄 relaxing by the outdoor lounge. This cabin experience is a must repeat, what a gem!
