This was the perfect getaway, it was peaceful and remote as the other cottages on the property are well spaced out from each other. It was easy to feel relaxed and at home in the cottage and the hot tub was an additional treat. Would highly recommend staying here. :)

Mongoose Lodge is stunning!! The house is well equipped, very comfortable, decor is beautiful and the view is outstanding 😍 We didn't have time to enjoy any of the wonderful facilities but hopefully we'll be back for a longer stay very soon. We felt very spoiled with fresh garden roses, wine, rusks and the Christmas decorations were a special touch!! Everything was great 👌🏻

Penny’s place was amazing! The cottage is surrounded but peach and plum orchards and there is a stunning mountain view. The cottage was very clean and cosy. The hot tub was the highlight for us!! You can even use it as a pool during a hot day ;) Thank you Penny for our stay, we absolutely loved it!

We had a lovely stay over Christmas with our two dogs. Her horse came to visit every morning and evening- which for me was a treat as I love horses. Very relaxing cottage and yard and a hot tub as well! Would highly recommend it.

This is our second stay at Rosehaven Cottage and it was as lovely as always and Braam was so warm and welcoming. It really is an extra special place to stay with the cottage immaculate throughout and every single thing has been carefully been thought through to make one’s stay extra special. It was such a lovely and magical time at the Mont Rouge Cabin. The surroundings and vies were stunning and the cottage itself was homely. Marisha got in touch straight after booking, kept us up to date with into and directions and even made us a welcome cake :)

We had such an amazing surprise when we arrived at Berry Guest Farm - Raspberry cottage. We had booked as a last minute break and due to the responsive host had just gone straight ahead without getting too much info. What a treat when we arrived with our 4 children. The farm is a child’s paradise with activities - from amazing zip lines, canoes that are free to use at any time, fishing, waterslides, warm pool, night time child friendly hikes with UV torches… the list goes on, but the plus is that the scenery and nature of the place makes it paradise for adults too. Surrounded by spectacular mountains, and a short distance from nature reserves with hikes, waterfalls, mountain trails and wildlife, well we were just spoilt for choice! We had no idea that the small airbnb we had booked offered all this and we will be sure to return with friends to book a few of the cottages and maybe even camp on the campsite. Note: the campsite was very close to the house but noise wasn’t an issue

LOVED our 3day stay, could have stayed a week. Beautiful surroundings, we loved sitting on the grass looking out on the dam. comfortable beds, had all aminities for a weekend away. our dogs loved swimming in the dam. perfect break away for the weekend. we also booked the cottage next door, a perfect group away setting.

I cannot describe how magical our stay was at Sukkel Sukkel Wagenpad. The Wagenpad team went over and above to make us feel at home and exceeded all our expectations. We received some lovely welcome gifts and the space was filled with beautiful art, decor and furniture that created various moments in each unit. The kitchen was simple but it had exactly everything we needed. The bedroom was very comfortable with various windows showing the surrounding mountains. The donkey was easy to manage and gave more than enough water. We have never felt more calm and rested as we did at Wagenpad. The walks between the buildings was great as it keeps you connected to nature. There is also some lovely hiking paths, a dam to swim in and beautiful mountains surrounding you (and an infinite amount of start at night). It is a quiet space to escape all the rush and noise from the city. What a gem of a place! Will 100% and more recommended it!

What a beautiful place to stay. The cottage was tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you would need. A wonderful splash pool and an awesome hot tub as well. A little paradise! The toiletries were a lovely touch and all the extras provided. Communication with the host was excellent and she gave us lots of local tips and suggestions.

We had a wonderful stay at Trish‘s place. The property is even more beautiful than the pictures and the views out of every window were gorgeous. We found the cottage to be conveniently located for the Stellenbosch area with shops, wine, farms and restaurants only a short drive away. The property is securely fenced with an electric gate and an alarm and felt very safe. Trish is very friendly and always available if you need help. We would definitely love to stay in Trish‘s cottage again and highly recommend it to anyone spending time in the winelands.

This cottage is delightful. Set on a small private estate, but still central to Montagu. Totally private and peaceful. Henk the host was incredible and could not have been more helpfull. We look forward to visiting again as this has become our firm favorite.

I loved staying in the cottage. I went there for peace and that is exactly what I found. I could hear the creek outside, cool off in the pool, take a relaxing bath, and just spend hours looking at nature...and when I felt like it I was close to some amazing restuarants (Hari's for African tasting menu and wine pairing and Maison for the their tasting menu as well). The hosts were very responsive and kind. Thank you!

We had a really wonderful stay at the cottage. The view from the balcony is so amazing 😍 And the cottage itself is full of art and character. Really feels like a proper home which my husband and I prefer over the more soulless Airbnb's we stayed at in the past.
