Cuan Dor, Rosscarbery, Co. Cork

StacyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
The house in Rosscarbery was wonderful and located near the beautiful lake, town, and beach. Mary Jo was an excellent host and gave us great recommendations for the area. The place was comfortable and just as pictured. One km down the road from the house was an excellent fish and chip cafe! We grabbed some and went to the beach!! Perfect holiday getaway. HIGHLY recommend.

One bedroom cottage

NickRating, 5 stars7 months ago
A beautiful cottage in lovely Ballydehob. Clean, modern, comfortable with views overlooking the estuary and walkable to everything nearby. Marie-Anne could not have been more helpful and accommodating. She even lent me a laptop charger as I had forgotten mine! I hope to have an excuse to come back.

Spacious House with Private Pier, Beara, Co. Cork

TeresaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We fell in love with this house. It’s in a beautifully secluded spot with direct access to the water. We swam each morning and it was bliss. The layout of the house is great, with a large open plan kitchen, dining and living room and a gorgeous deck that gets the sun. The surrounding area is stunning. We particularly liked the Buddhist centre and vegetarian cafe, which is in a gorgeous spot with breathtaking views. Would love to go back and spend more time exploring.

Walking distance to the local pub and beach--what else could you ask? Brandon Point was worth the visit also. This location was perfect for us!

Waterfront House in Waterville Village

MaureenRating, 5 stars7 months ago
This is our 2nd stay at Noreen's House and we really enjoyed our holiday - again! Everything we needed/wanted: beautiful beaches, golf, hiking, water activities, nearby shops and restaurants, sea view, beach outside the door, pet friendly house, wifi. House is a home from home and Noreen is a pleasure to deal with.

3 Bedroom house Sheepshead, Co. Cork.

GarretRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We have returned home from a wonderful 4 weeks on Sheep’s Head. Cathal’s house is just wonderful - amazing location, loads of space, spectacular views and really well equipped. Cathal is a great host, and while he lives close by, he gives you all the privacy you need while being available if required. We travelled with our two dogs, and there is a fine front garden in grass and the road outside is very quiet. Plenty of walks close by for dogs but not on the Sheep’s Head trails (we knew this before arriving) as these are generally on farm land generously made available by local farmers, often with livestock in the fields. Kilcrohane is a great base and is well served by restaurants and bars in Kilcrohane itself and villages close by, such as Ahakista and Durrus. For grocery shopping, Bantry is about 30 minutes by car, but there is also a local bus from Kilcrohane - but there is also a small shop in Kilcrohane which is good for the basics. Thanks Cathal - we’ll be back!!

Muddy Cottage, Ballincolla, Union Hall

MatthewRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We had a lovely week at Muddy Cottage. Perched on a peaceful hilltop overlooking the beautiful water at Union Hall the location is beautiful. We felt at home straightaway, with plenty of space for a family of four. Despite being very secluded, it's a just a walk down the hill to a good coffee shop (Nolans), pub (Dinty's), lovely restaurant/bar (The Dock Wall) and handy store (Centra). We spent our time exploring the area, stunning scenery and so many beautiful beaches and views. We enjoyed: - A bracing walk on Long Strand, after fish and chips at The Fish Basket - The windy views from the Baltimore Beacon - Exploring the local towns of Skibbereen and Clonakilty - The golden sands at Barley Cove Bay - Anakista Bar (the tin pub), with beautiful views and a great pint of Beamish on the way to Sheep's Head - Space and time to relax, without the crowds of some other areas So much more to explore next time!

Village life/Sea View

CatherineRating, 5 stars7 months ago
I've just left part of my heart in Kilcrohane- a truly wonderful part of the world. The house was great - super comfy beds and spotless. The house is in a superb location within the village for walks, restaurants, beaches and of course the amazing Eileen's bar! There is a bus route outside the house that runs to Bantry, Ahakista and beyond. The local walks/drives are stunning - photos just don't do it justice. The Creamery and Bridge View are fantastic for evening meals. The shop is wonderful- run by gorgeous people. Just remember- cash only in the shop and Eileen's!!!
