Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Carson City

A repeat stay, we returned after a great first stay and would love to spend another mountain weekend in the future!! Kitchen is stocked, comfy bed, great location so close to the river walk!!

The house was very accessible, super clean, we had a lot of fun playing boardgames, the hosts were very clear with their instructions and everything was clearly labeled, which I appreciate, overall great experience!

Had a great stay with friends and our pup! Our stay at Becky's was smooth sailing, no issues. Nice yard space and things were labeled inside making it easy to find what we needed. Would recommended this place!

Perfect for a little get away very private and in a quiet area

We had a wonderful stay at Scott's and Alanna's home. The house is beautiful, cozy, clean, spacious and well stocked. Host was very accommodating and responsible. We would love to stay again!

Enjoyed our stay and Maria was very responsive. The home is very detailed which made things easier when it was times to cook. The house keep takes care of this home really good. First time in Fallon and our stay made it well worth it.

Great location with wonderful trails and spectacular views right outside of the neighborhood. Sauna and Spa were welcome amenities after skiing all day. Plenty of room for our group of six. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals but be aware there are zero stock items (ie oils, condiments, etc.) and none were promised. There were, however, sufficient spices. Would recommend and stay again without hesitation.

Amazing place! Booked this house for a Palisades trip. Although the weather did not allow us to ride the mountain at all, my group and I still had a nice weekend getaway. Clean and spacious rooms. All the amenities you could ever need. Will definitely be booking this place for our next Palisades trip.

Really loved staying here and would come back! The place was very clean and spacious. The only thing I would change would be a bigger coffee maker!

Great stay! Place was beautiful. I was initially anticipating it would be a small place because sometimes pictures can be deceiving but it was very spacious and rooms were big. A little tricky to figure out where the way to the apt at first but once you got it down there were no issues. I will say the beds were a bit softer than we’d like but that’s more of a personal preference. Also if you are a light sleeper beware that the geese can be a little noisy and the noise from the upstairs neighbors walking in the middle of the night kept my husband up. But again it won’t affect everyone as I slept soundly but something to note. Place was stocked with kitchen gadgets and very clean. Loved that the linens and towels smelled clean but not like strong detergent. I would highly recommend Laney’s place again and stay again. The proximity to stores and restaurants is lovely. Laney is also very responsive to messages.

Wendy and Don are such great hosts! We felt right at home. We were invited in and the kids loved playing with the dogs and the pet pigs. Wendy gave the kids treats to give to the animals and they loved it. So much they didn’t care about skiing the next day! The geese outside and the deer are so beautiful to watch. The town is small but clean, and with the hills dusted with snow it felt like being in a movie. So beautiful. Wendy baked a delicious sourdough bread for us, which we found in the kitchen along with a basket full of goodies and fruit, and a greeting card! It felt very special and personal. Definitely warm and connected hosts. We would love to visit again. This place is fantastic for families and anyone looking for a charming west town experience that is less than an hour to the snow (Boreal, Donner) and Reno or Truckee.

This property offers an exceptional experience, perfectly situated for skiiers. The well-maintained and thoughtfully designed home provides a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Professional housekeeping ensures a spotless stay, and the cozy sofa bed and high-quality mattress guarantee restful nights. Plus, the excellent soundproofing made it a truly peaceful retreat, especially appreciated by our family with young children. The host was exceptionally responsive and friendly, providing clear instructions and demonstrating flexibility with check-in/check-out times.

Awesome spot in the Northstar Village. Great for family looking to make it easy to get the kids on the mountain without driving and parking. Absolutely recommend and we will be back. Easy access to everything in the village and love being across from Cooper provisions, the local store with everything you might have forgotten (food, coffee, sunscreen, drinks, etc) There is a washer / dryer on the floor of the condo but bring quarters as those were hard to come by in a cashless Northstar ;)

We stayed at the Jeffrey’s Hotel for one night and had a good experience. Everything was clean and in good condition. The kitchen could have been better equipped. I tried using the toaster and it started smelling and smoking a bit, but other than that we really liked it here (the beds are really comfortable), I just wouldn’t recommend it for a longer stay.

My wife and I used this location while riding the bike park. The location is quiet and peaceful. Tucked away in the trees, yet a short walk to the village. A bike run goes right by, so the unit can serve as a pit stop on the way back to the gondola. Easy drive to Truckee, we did it everyday we were there. Wonderful hot tubs to soak in at the end of the day.

Daniel was an amazing host and our stay at his property was equally pleasant. The house was cozy, clean, and very well prepared for our stay. The kitchen had all the necessities we needed to cook meals, and all the beds came with comfy blankets and soft pillows. The living room was large, warm, and welcoming, great for spending time with friends. Daniel himself was super responsive and went above and beyond. We had lost our keys during this trip and thought we would be stuck since there aren’t any ubers/taxis around, but Daniel graciously offered to drive us anywhere we needed. Without his generosity and kindness, our trip would have been much less enjoyable.

The most gorgeous tiny home cabin where the space is used so effectively! Small kitchen with everything you need. Big bathroom, cozy shower. Comfy linen. Great layout of the living room with cute decorations. It’s everything we wanted for a cozy cabin weekend. Walkable to the lake. Great amenity for the summer. Hot tub was fine sharing with Big Dipper :)

My husband and I absolutely adored our stay at the Lilac Cottage and can't wait to make another visit! Markeeville is a quiet little town so if you happen to want to getaway from the hustle and bustle of life for a moment of peaceful solitude- this is the perfect place for just that! Our host, Linda, was extremely hospitable and has the kindest heart. We don't even have the words to say how thankful we are for our stay but truly, thank you!

If I had a cabin in Tahoe, I’d love this one. It’s cozy, fully stocked, feels like home. I also love the hot tub, the location, the trees, and the host’s attention to our wellbeing. Best way to spend a birthday weekend with my family.

Wonderful place to unplug and relax. We loved everything especially the record player in the room. We listened to every album. They love dogs and my pooch had so much fun pretending he is a big mountain dog. We will definitely be back to enjoy more of the area. It most certainly is rustic but not roughing it. My favorite way to travel. Plus the hot springs are nearby! So much outdoorsy fun to help you feel alive ❤️

My family and I enjoyed staying at this cozy little cabin for the weekend! It was our pup’s first trip to the snow and she absolutely loved it. The record player and fireplace were a hit. Thanks for a nice getaway!

The Tall Trees Cabin was a perfect stay for my husband, three year old, and I. Susan was very proactive and excellent with communication and provided detailed information regarding the cabin as well as things to do in the area. The space was very clean and provided all the amenities we needed and even some extras. We enjoyed using the saucers to go sledding and the provided bird seed to feed the chickadees at Chickadee Ridge. We hope to return again soon!
