Family-friendly holiday rentals in Casco Viejo, Ibaiondo

We spent two days at Christmas with 12 adults, a child and two dogs and it was great. The house was as it appeared in the photos. The kitchen in the house downstairs is huge and we were able to eat together without any problems. Communication with Asier was quick and easy, he answered all our questions with infinite patience. I recommend it 100%.

Both the house and the host were unbeatable, everything in perfect condition, the service was nice, the host explained everything perfectly and made everything very easy for us, both for check-in and check-out. The house is spectacular, well maintained, well equipped, ideal for groups and families, it has everything you need. The area is perfect, good views. 100% recommended

Antonio is a fantastic host. Super responsive and very helpful especially with recommendations for local walks and for helping with animal health certificate requirements for returning to the UK. The house was big enough for the 11 of us and there was plenty for all of us to do for the whole week we were there. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly by Antonio. Just a short walk from the house is a lovely little cafe that sells baguettes, coffee and some alcohol - very reasonably priced but please note only takes cash which caught us out on our first visit. We visited Balmaseda a couple of times which has an incredible bakery which I would very much recommend. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk but we didn’t get the train whilst we were there - it may have been quicker to get to bilbao and something to check out if you visit again. It was a very good place to stay, with a very nice host. It is appreciated to have the train very close to go to Bilbao without having to take the car. The house is very spacious and cozy.

Castro Urdiales is a lovely seaside town. The apartment is a short walk from the centre & waterfront. Lovely atmosphere here where you can linger over coffee admiring the monument complex of lighthouse, Roman bridge, chapel & the beautiful 13th century church whilst watching the world go by. Tranquil. The apartment is warm clean & comfortable. All usual daily requirements easily available within a short walk. There is a fabulous direct sea view from the balcony. A perfect relaxing place Raul is a superb host. Kind & friendly. He met any enquires in a timely manner. He is the sort of person who goes the extra mile.

Incredible stay. Itziar super maja, sent us places to eat, transports and a lot of info about the area. The apartment is spotless, you can see the effort to maintain it well and the area is quite central and close to everything walking. We recommend it 100%

We had a lovely stay in this calm and beautiful place. A great setting to enjoy for a family of 13 and all ages. Rapel was always very responsive and proactive in making sure that our stay was as good as possible. Thanks a lot!

The apartment matches the description. Very comfortable for a family with children. It was very clean and tidy. José Luis is a very good host, he gave us clear instructions and received us late at night. The location is very good for exploring the area.

Apartamento highly recommended. Arturo gave us facilities at all times at the time of the collection of the keys and everything was in good order. Perfect terrace for lunch or dinner if you are lucky enough to make the weather good.

We absolutely loved our stay! The area and property is so beautiful and peaceful. The house is enormous for a home in Spain. It’s well decorated with antiques and the beds were comfy and firm. The owners were friendly and welcoming. We had local friends over for lunch and had a magical meal on the terrace, they were all in awe of the place.

The apartment is ideal for enjoying a family holiday in Castro, the area is quiet, woody (ideal for baby carts), and very close to the beach. It has beautiful mountain views and swimming pool for enjoyment. Iñigo is a great host, very friendly and proactive, with local recommendations, and quick in communication. It is also flexible for check-in and out, which was very good for us in our particular case. I definitely recommend staying in your home to be able to spend a good time in Castro and surroundings. Great accommodation, spacious, in a great location, with an elevator that leads directly to the covered garage, pool and two supermarkets in front of the house. We had a great time! I would go back for a future trip

We've been super comfortable. The house is just like the photos, it has a lot of provisions inside (not only as towels and gels, but also coffee, cookies, oil, salt, etc.). The house is very well equipped. Ideal to go with children and enjoy nature. It is a very quiet place, 10 minutes walk from the village. There were two or three restaurants around; we agreed that they were all closed, so if you want to have a drink it is necessary to go down to the village. Still, it's close and you can walk down. At night it is all very bright and not dangerous. At all times the communication was excellent and they were super attentive with us. We spent a few days with a very quiet and super comfortable family. Thank you so much for everything, we will repeat for sure !
