Jorge and Maria are amazing hosts, helpful and with a good taste for plants, aromas, decorations and lives in general present in this space. It was like a retreat! It was just what we needed: rest, calm, privacy. We were able to catch up on our tanning and reading. Having breakfast outdoors is such a simple thing, but in the rush of life it is not so easy and at Ana's house it was mandatory! We loved all the sunsets we watched and hope to return. Marvão is undoubtedly wonderful. We recommend Paulo Gouveia's studio where we bought a beautiful painting where cork is the main character. It will have a special place in our living room where we will remember this vacation filled with peace and harmony. We wish Ana and her space the greatest success and thank her for all the tips and the tasty bottle of wine she left us!

No words can describe how nice Carla is and how friendly and inviting she is along with her daughter. We felt right at home and her place was very comfortable, clean and the perfect place to relax and recharge your batteries. I recommend her place to anyone who wants a country side retreat with the most amazing views and not too far from the town centre. We will definitely be returning again and this time for a longer stay. Well done Carla 😍

STRONGLY RECOMMEND I highly recommend this lovely and charming place. A true gem in Alentejo, surrounded by nature. Clean and spacious space on the inside and large garden, bbq space and terrace outside. The lovely neighbors would make your experience even better with their knowledge, availability and care. The host, Elsa, is very helpful and attentive in communication and making sure you relax and enjoy your stay. Among the best experiences I’ve had with Airbnb.

This house is a little slice of heaven in the Portuguese countryside. We felt very at peace here and had two lovely nights. Google maps gave us awful instructions, do not take the tretourous path that seems more like a hiking trail to get to the house, go the long way around. The owner came and saved us though and the house exceeded our expectations and they gave us so many lovely treats. We will 100% return here again.

Perfect place to move away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Calm and silence are only interrupted by the singing of birds or the noise of the stream. Acasa is small, but comfortable and with has everything you need to spend a few days. I had few exchanges of messages with Miguel, but he always responded promptly and was very nice. Ah! Don't be alarmed by the neighbor's dog, which is giant, but a sweet and a great companion. I intend to return in the summer, to enjoy the swimming pools and the longest days in the sun. :)

I recently stayed at this Airbnb and had a wonderful experience. The check-in procedure was smooth and hassle-free, thanks to the very friendly and efficient staff. The apartment is well equipped, catering to both short and long-term stays, although it only has a microwave for heating up food, making it more suitable for those who prefer dining out. The location is excellent, being very close to the city centre yet situated in a quiet area. While parking is possible, it’s advisable to use the central parking area as the streets are quite narrow. Although the apartment is not fully soundproof, I found the neighbours above to be quiet, ensuring a peaceful stay. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay and would highly recommend this Airbnb.

Very nice space, in the center of Portalegre had everything around, we will undoubtedly return.

Great stay inside castle walls! Luis was great host. We met him in town, parked our car and he drove us up the narrow streets to the apartment. It’s about a 10 minute walk down to square. Town is lovely and friendly. Highly recommend!

The space was very clean and organized, very well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and pillows, fresh bedding and towels and various games to unwind. I recommend it!
