Peaceful and private location with very friendly hosts, who greeted us and walked us through all the amenities. Comfortable beds, lovely big shower and a beautiful view. If you need a place to stay in Rostrevor I recommend it highly!!

Fabulous stay, surroundings were stunning and it was so peaceful. Hubby and son did lots of fishing off the pontoon and Heather's dog Mable was so friendly. She was the same age as our dog so they had a ball, place was as described and Heather and Tony were fantastic hosts. We will go back!!

Comfortable spacious quiet

Stayed for my sisters hen, Jackie and Nicola couldn’t have been more helpful and responsive. We made changes multiple times and they didn’t mind at all they were so friendly. They gave me so many good recommendations and answered any questions I had quickly. It was brilliant to be able to book the cocktail class to come, it was great Nicola was so friendly and the cocktails were delish, maybe a third cocktail in the class would’ve been great just to fill out the time fully but it was lovely. I can’t fault the house it was lovely, hot tub was hot all evening when we were in and out. House was spotless and had everything we needed.

My New Zealand Guests were in awe of the beautiful location where the southern Mournes really do sweep down to the sea. Rostrevor is a picturesque location where Oak Woods fuse into Pine Forests and Alpine grassy hills that can offer accessible breathtaking panoramic views right down the east coast of Ireland, deep into the counties of Ulster and even across to the Isle of Man on a clear day. With the myths and legends of the Giants , not to mention walkable Fairy Glens, celebrated in music, song and poetry on the Fiddlers Green (and in the local pubs), it is no wonder the words of C S Lewis rambles with you as you trek the hills and glades of this enchanting place. With a history still there to be inhaled from Ross of Bladensburg to Castles and Squires and a living modern day monastic settlement of Cistercian Monks this place is a melody of life where it lifts your heart to where your soul is content. Great place, great value, great service and absolutely stunning views!! We had the best experience here an it was well worth the trip, Arthur is so helpful and accommodating cannot do enough for you. Will be back again if we ever get the chance.

Mark’s place was super cute. We slept great in the beds and the shower had amazing water pressure. There was plenty of space for 4 of us. Once we figured out the outlet switches and water pump spurs all was good. Be aware, the fridge is a small under the counter unit. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking needs. Mark was very responsive and flexible with our requests. We enjoyed the area and had a couple hot tub dips. I highly recommend Mark’s cottage in Belturbet. The place was nice and tidy. A little trouble flushing toilets and shower drains draining but other than that it was wonderful.
