Holiday rentals in Castletownroche

We really enjoyed our month-long stay at Jerry's place. The kitchen is well equipped and Jerry and his wife were always helpful, friendly, and quick to respond. The host provided enough dish soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper and even firewood to last our entire stay. The house is in a very quiet and peaceful location in the countryside but still central for exploring both Kerry and Cork counties (having a car is a must).

A big group if us stayed here for a long weekend. We had an amazing time. The house is huge and beautiful, spacious, very clean, views for days out every window. Nice welcome pack was put to good use. It's about 20 mins drive to Dungarvan town, busy little place, we went for food and few drinks in The Local bar and restaurant, it was lovely. We went to Youghal the next day, quieter place. We ended up eating in the Walter Raligh Hotel, very nice food aswell. Kids played lots of games in the garden. Full kitchen for making anything. Michael responded immediately and very courteously to questions before and during our arrival. The house was spacious, clean, modernly furnished and in a very nice environment.

Our stay at Ewe cottage within Ballymaloe was nothing short of magical. Nestled amidst breathtaking surroundings, the estate offers private walks that allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in nature's beauty. Access to the hotel swimming pool and restaurant was exceptional, serving incredible food and adding an extra touch of luxury. The cottage itself was pristine, well-equipped, and incredibly cosy, providing the perfect retreat. Robyn as a host was excellent, exceptionally responsive with clear communication and kindly offered lots of recommendations which made our stay even more special. If we could offer more than five stars to the review, we absolutely would! This is a real gem that we cannot recommend highly enough. We can't wait to return!

Clinton was a great host, cottage was very clean and well equipped. He also helped facilitate taxis to and from the wedding venue we were in town for. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend!!! Our family of 4 loved our time here. It was so peaceful and cozy. Brenda had so many toys for our kids to play with which. She also had lots of kids books which is so nice while traveling. We enjoyed a meal outside on the covered patio as the sun was setting. This place had everything we needed for cooking. This is a great location to stay while visiting Cobh or Cork area! Grocery stores are close by. Brenda was a very kind and friendly host!

We had a great 2-week stay at Kenneth's. I was able to work remotely without any internet/Wi-Fi issues and there's a lovely private walk to the center of town and the boardwalk. Though it was sometimes chilly outside, we were plenty warm inside with the provided electric heaters and heated blankets. The place has all the amenities you'd need, especially for a longer stay. Kenneth was very responsive and helpful. Self-checkin was a breeze. The view is incredible.

The apartment is very professionally managed by Joan and delivers what was promised in the description. The unique view attracted us and it is beautiful to take a few steps along the beach promenade in the evening and reflect on the impressions of the day. There is a lot to do from this starting point by car (Blarney Castle, Kilkenny Castle, Cork, Ardmore, to mention just a few places and of course Youghal itself). In short: the apartment is highly recommended. We would book the apartment again immediately.
