Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Central California

Comfortable stay in South Lake Tahoe, excellent location, beautiful trees surrounding the outdoor jacuzzi!! Only thing I would have liked would have been some extra bath towels and full canister of coffee (it was almost empty upon our arrival). All around an excellent value and would book again!

The house was spacious with everything you need.

Lorena’s place is even better than the pictures show! The perfect house to rent for our girl trip with space to all hang out and walkable distance to downtown Murphy’s. Had the best time! Thank you Lorena 👏

Karin's place has a beautiful view, nice hot tub and outdoor shower area to use, and is a well stocked kitchen with everything you'd possibly need. We appreciated the location being between Carmel and Big Sur which allowed us to explore in both directions. My only complaint is that it is a very expensive stay - we paid $680/night for a shared space with owners on the same property and the many reminders about taking out the trash, not overusing electricity, and no shoes in the house. We are always respectful and treat everyone's place as we would our own - but felt like for the price point of what we paid, we shouldn't be asked to take the trash out, etc. Feels like for that price-point these things should all be included so we can relax without feeling like we needed to be mindful of every little detail. Again, great place, but it was definitely a big splurge for us!

I'm tempted to only say horrible lies about this place, because I want to keep this gem all to myself. But I can't think of a single negative thing to say about this place. The location was gorgeous, the interior design was beautiful, and the hot tub in the middle of the redwoods was just the cherry on top.

This was the most well stocked Airbnb I have ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything. I would say to myself “oh I need a…” and there it was! When we were heading to the beach one day there were chairs, towels and umbrellas right there. The owners were very responsive and asked if we needed anything. I was surprised at how close it was to the freeway when it showed hillside view. In the end, it made it easier to get to places by being nearer the freeway. You couldn’t hear the cars while inside the house. Sleeps 6 couples and one of those is a pullout sofa.

Our Thanksgiving by the Kern was a dream, A perfect place for our little family team. Quail danced in the yard, deer roamed at night, And the river’s song brought pure delight. Ty’s kindness made check-in a breeze, A home filled with love, so easy to please. The setup was perfect for a father of three, A 9, 5, and 3-year-old, happy as can be. The backyard was magic, the views serene, Nature’s beauty, like a living scene. Laughter and memories, joy in the air, A trip to remember, beyond compare. We’ll cherish this stay forever more, By the Kern River, a place we adore. Thank you from the Walker’s for a wonderful stay.

The place was perfect for what we needed. It is located close to downtown and in a quiet neighborhood. Host was very informative and the amenities are great.

everything was super nice, only thing was the charger didnt work which was very bummed out, but overall house is super spacious and nice, plenty of room for family and friends! mason was helpful & communicative!

Overall House is worth for paid money > (1)we really enjoying the nice surrounding around the house, canoe rowing, photos talking from Pier as well as from the parked yacht that even do party / celebration inside the Boat.. (2) Great photos with sea & lake background around the house.

Could not have been a more perfect place for a girls weekend in Napa! House was extremely clean. Easy to communicate with the host. Would definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay! The owners were responsive and wonderfully communicative. The house is beautifully maintained and everything we expected and way more. The AC was on for us, making unpacking much more pleasant. The beds are super comfortable, and the bedding so soft. The living room was perfect for lounging with our group. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked and the BBQ was pristine. Couldn’t imagine a better place to spend a weekend with your nearest and dearest.

Great place for a multi-generational gathering. There were many spaces to gather and the home is large enough to peel off for some quiet time. The outdoor spaces are lovely and private and the pool makes for a beautiful setting. The kitchen has plenty of glassware, dinnerware and flatware which makes feeding a crowd for several meals a day very do-able. Spring lake park is accessible by a path just up the road and the trail around the lake makes for a lovely walk/run. Folks enjoyed "practicing" their fishing techniques but didn't get a nibble. Proximity to Rossmoor community made this a very pleasant getaway with very little travel for our older parents.

My family (parents, grandparents, and kids) stayed at this great waterfront home in March 2025. My kids loved the heated pool, hot tub, and kayak! We liked the well appointed kitchen and having lots of space to spread out across the five bedrooms. The only downside is that’s it’s a bit on the well used side and could use touch-ups here and there and one bedroom is a loft so we had to be aware of the noise level downstairs. That didn’t stop us from having a great time and using this as our jumping off point to the city (15-30 min depending on traffic) or North Bay for hiking, oysters, and wine.

This is my second time at this Airbnb with this group of ladies. We had a total blast both times. Totally peaceful, serene, gorgeous. We love it here. The drive up once you get to the neighborhood is hilariously scary (there’s a small dirt road up a hill) but it was just fine. VERY good vibes here!! And Courtney was great!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The location strikes the perfect balance a quiet and peaceful neighborhood that's also just a short distance from shops. The property itself has clearly been recently remodeled and is impeccably clean and very comfortable. Our kids especially loved the fantastic pool area. Our host was also incredibly responsive and thoughtful, regularly checking in to ensure we had everything we needed.

This is a cozy cabin tucked away in the hills of Oakhurst. It is close enough to easily drive to town but far enough out to give you that cozy cabin in the woods feel. It has everything you cluld need and the hot tub was a big plus. It's also an easy drive to Bass Lake and to Yosemite. The hosts were very kind and responsive. The cabin was also very clean and comfortable.

LOVED IT! Very romantic, nice and cozy little cabin. Very clean, and all the amenities you could possibly need were provided (e.g. microwave, electric stove, etc.) as well as tv and board games. Importantly for us, there was a hot tub, and it was working perfectly (and easy access from the back bathroom door) - there were also very charming lighting in the hot tub section. There was also a firewood firepit and propane grill, which although we did not use, could easily see people enjoying it. Fantastic hosts as well, Janet kept in touch with us before we showed up, Dave welcomed us as soon as we arrived, and once I forgot to turn the lights off on my car, and Janet kindly reached out via AirBnB chat to let me know. And one of the biggest highlights for us is that they have a frog pond! Cute little fellows! And there is plenty of other wildlife as well - squirrels, quails, gophers, and rabbits. Also, super easy to get into Sequoia National Park. Would 100% recommend!

This spot was perfect for our little family of three. Half way between Yosemite's South Gate and the surprisingly well-equipped town of Oakhurst, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would book this place again. Check-in was a breeze, and the host was very responsive when asked a question or two during the visit. The wood-burning stove and the hot tub were a bonus for tired legs after long hikes, and a cozy atmosphere and opportunity to warm up during nightly movies while relaxing. Would definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for a non-hotel option that's very private and slightly off the beaten path.

We’ve spent 6 days in this place and enjoyed every moment.. i didn’t figure out that it’s a smoking/dogs allowed place. I usually do not book such house but this was really clean and very light smell of smoking in some areas. Other than that, it’s a couple minutes to beautiful hikes and hot-springs just 6 minutes. Really loved the area and weather. Neighborhood is also lovely.

This cabin was exactly what we needed! Felt remote, but super close to amenities and recreation. Different zones in the cabin for those who wanted play and those who wanted rest. Hot tub was perfect, fireplace warmed up the space, and the views! Definitely want to come back!

We had a great stay at Kyong’s place. It was very clean and organized. Everything had labels with clear instructions on how to use it or how to take care of it, and this was really helpful. The house is a short drive to Yosemite’s south entrance and a 10 min drive from grocery stores. We had everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner. Kyong was responsive and understanding, it was a perfect stay!

We had a delightful stay at this rustic cabin in the woods. The place is spotless and the host has thought of everything. Movies, books, games, firewood, lots of cozy blankets, well lit—and we loved the hot tub. We even hiked the trail right by the house. Easy in and out. Responsive and friendly host.

The stay at this cabin was phenomenal. We enjoyed the romantic, secluded atmosphere. Along with the hosts timely responses if anything was needed and the national park’s entrances being so close I would definitely recommend staying at this magnificent cabin!
