Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Chatham County

This is a beautiful and peaceful cabin. The fenced yard is amazing for dogs; walking the property is wonderful. The cabin is clean and cozy; we had all we needed for a 3 night stay. The location is also fantastic; close to Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Durham. There are many great bookstores, restaurants, parks, museums, hikes, and more in these areas. Communication from the host is clear, timely, and helpful. Highly recommend!!!!

This was our second time staying at Jonathan’s place. This was a longer stay and it was wonderful. The home is well equipped with all the essentials to make you feel right at home. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Our morning walks were amazing. Jonathan was very proactive with his communication. He is probably one of the best host’s we have encountered on AirBNB. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Raleigh or the surrounding areas.

Anne’s place is in a quiet setting in the woods close to a boat ramp and the Jordan Lake dam. There are 2 other Airbnb homes on the property but they are far enough apart and very private. The home was clean and well appointed. Anne was extremely responsive when we needed to retrieve something dropped in the sink. Overall we highly recommend this property! Would definitely stay again.

A great place for a family to commune to enjoy a nice time. Great backyard space for the pets.

Sherri’s place was exceptionally clean. Very well appointed furniture and spacious bedrooms. Heating was necessary for our stay during the nights as the temperature dropped and the climate control was great. All appliances were clean and functioning as they should. Would definitely stay here again when we return to the area for our golf trip.

Anna’s place was a great family base camp for enjoyment and exploration of Chapel Hill and surrounding areas. The beautiful, pet friendly surroundings and comfortable layout made our stay homely. I would recommend Anna’s house to any family wanting space in which to spread out and relax while still being accessible to the area’s attractions.

Beautiful home, no dining room but big island with seating available around the island. Lots of outdoor seating and covered area to enjoy the peaceful and beautiful outdoors with table/seating, grill and fire pit. Great hosts!! Quiet and peaceful area!

We will definitely stay here again when we are in Pittsboro. The place was very clean and comfortable. Eric was helpful and responsive. Highly recommend.

Stayed in the larger downstairs apartment this trip (smaller one last year). We loved the space, had no problems and the yard is very cute and relaxing. Velina was proactive and reached out to me ahead of time about things that needed to be done (dehumidifiers that need to be emptied, laundry space, local restaurants, etc) and that we could check in early. We have stayed at her property 2 different times now and she has always been responsive to any questions.....you just need to ask. we had a great stay and rested well.

This was a great place for a friend and I to stay for a few days while in town. Be sure to request linens for the small futon in the living room if you are planning to use it. Our host was quick to provide these, though they weren't stocked in the airbnb itself. The onsite contact was incredibly friendly and helpful and access to the site was trouble-free. The location was great in a lovely, walkable neighborhood which was easy to navigate too.

I’ve stayed at a lot of air bnb’s and this was the best. Everything you would need is available; the place was spotless; it was very comfortable and looks beautiful. I’d stay again!

AJ was extremely responsive to any questions we had during our stay. This condo was exactly what my sister and I were looking for during a medical stay in the area. The location is very secluded and very peaceful. The accommodations were exactly as described and a good value.

Great experience. Easy to check in. I always appreciate when there is a self check in process so we can show up anytime after the check in time. Place was easy to find. Plenty of parking in front of premises, even room for two cars. Safe. Even thought we didnt use it, Aj also provided the detergent for laundry if needed for a longer stay. Only thing was, the floors felt like they needed to be cleaned and there was a dead bug on my pillow. But understandable as the place was in the woods. All in all, a great stay.

first of all, aj just about saved our lives the night that we stayed here! we booked a different airbnb property to stay at for the 2 nights we were in raleigh but upon the arrival of night one and seeing just how disgusting our host left the place for us, we knew for sure we couldn’t spend another night in that stay. the 2nd day in raleigh, after contacting support for a different place to stay at, we came across aj’s home and reached out to him and asked if we could stay. not only was he SUPER responsive, like extremely quick responses(!), but he accommodated us instantly, sent us over all the info we would need for our stay and actually made sure it was clean! bedrooms are very identical so we didn’t have to “einey meany miney mo” a room lol. the only thing we disliked was the driveway but nc was just hit with a hurricane so. if you book here, just be super careful and drive SLOW when you enter and exit the property. otherwise, this stay was great. aj, thank you SO MUCH!! :)
