Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Chemainus

We had a great time at this air bnb. We could really tell that there was a lot of thoughtfulness that went into the place, in the furnishings, amenities, and - something people often overlook - safety! There was a sign from the city stating that it was a legal suite and there were flashlights by the light switches in case of an emergency. I also really appreciated that it was pet friendly and very clean. Thanks!

Really enjoyed my stay at Rachel's place. I was at Nanaimo for a 2 week placement at the local hospital. Rachel's home is a quick 5 minute walk away. Her home is extremely clean with all the cooking supplies I needed. The neighbourhood is very quiet and peaceful. Rachel and Patrick are very quick and responsive. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit Nanaimo and would stay here again myself if the opportunity ever arises.

Me and my partner had such an amazing stay and our host Harold was there to greet us and explain how everything works and did a mini tour of our suite. The wetlands were beautiful and the place is exactly as pictured. Harold also was such a nice host who was available if we needed anything. Definitely will be back to stay again!

Susanne and Keith are warm, communicative hosts, eager to make you feel at home. Susanne was there to greet us and take us on a tour. There were fresh flowers and treats to welcome us! The suite is absolutely wonderful- bright, immaculate and beautifully decorated with attention to every detail. The bed was extremely comfortable. Kitchen appliances were modern and cupboards well stocked with everything you need. The neighbourhood is very quiet with access to nearby parks, trails (Lochside a must!), shopping and restaurants. One of the very best Air BnB’s we have stayed in. We highly recommend Island Stay and would definitely stay here again. Thank you Susanne and Keith for warm hospitality!

We had a great stay at Patrick’s place. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Patrick was very helpful and left a nice welcome basket. Despite being on a busy street, the suite is very quiet and peaceful as it faces the back of the house with a nice view of the mountains. There is some noise from upstairs if you’re sensitive to that, but it’s not loud. Bring slippers if you get cold feet as the floors can be a bit cold. Would definitely stay there again!

We couldn't be happier that we chose this place. Our hosts were fantastic and couldn't have been more kind and friendly. Anything we needed or even things we didn't think of, were there for us. We ended up having a prolonged stay, and they couldn't have been more welcoming or made it any easier than they did. The king size bed was wonderful, and I want to take the pillows home! The surroundings are beautiful, the birds, deer, and bunnies are awesome to see right out the door! We just can't thank them enough, we'll be back and highly recommend staying here. 5 Stars!!!

A beautiful setting that is a great place to relax with a few couples. It is roomy and has great gathering and relaxation spots inside and out. There lots of kitchen implements for cooking, tons of linen, and it’s very clean.

Very spacious and lovely views; well equiped kitchen and easy access to adventures and services. Easy communication with Nina and would definitely book again.

Our stay at Anna's was wonderful. We were a group of 4 ladies and we stayed for 4 nights. We were all impressed by how cozy, well stocked and clean the place was. The place was spotless, shower is awesome, beds are comfortable (twin bed mattresses are suitable for kids, not adults), coffee is provided. We walked to the beach everyday and the street was quiet and peaceful. Check in was easy and Anna was wonderful. Photos in the ad represent the home well. Great stay and we would stay again. Beautiful surroundings with full bathrooms in each room, convenient for family getaways

We had a wonderful stay at Christi's Suite and Carriage Home. It looked exactly like the photos and had such a cozy feel, with thoughtful touches throughout the place. The view was stunning, and even with the rain, the patio was a lovely spot for morning coffee. Great location - walking distance from the village. Thanks for a great stay-we’d definitely love to come back!

Very kind and responsive hosts. The suite was cozy and clean and in a lovely residential area. It was an easy walk from there to a large park and the UBC endowment land. It was equally easy to get to shops and restaurants. The suite was well equipped and the bed was comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

What can I say about this place….its stunning!! This beautiful Victorian home sits on a huge, beautifully landscaped lot. Everything was spectacular! We enjoyed playing bocce ball, seeing the mini horses; Guinevere & Lancelot, and of course Juno!! Such a lovely dog, and welcome wagon mascot. Thank you for everything Wendy. We absolutely enjoyed our stay.

This is a beautiful apartment. Make sure to read the getting in the building instructions carefully before you arrive. We had travelled from the UK so were exhausted on arrival very late at night, and happened to follow some residents thought the door, we then couldn't get the lift to work (as you need to be let in by owner at first then access a fob key from the apartment) and I had no mobile data to message or call Luigina! Once we were in, the apartment was fantastic. Very clean and extremely comfortable. Note, if coming from the UK, the lovely Nespresso machine is not compatible with UK capsules! But Luigina had kindly left a few to get us started. Amazing balcony and views. Highly recommend this cosy warm apartment.

What a gem! Monica's place was outstanding. Short walk to the beach and the common pool and hot tub were exactly as described and perfect for our family. The kitchen was stocked above and beyond with anything you might need for cooking, which we loved. This is often not the case in many AirBnB's so we were very happy about this. This place was quiet and cozy and we loved the community feeling of the resort. Monica was great with communicating quickly. We will definitely return.

From the moment I walked in I already couldn’t wait to come back. The view was beautiful, and the space was spacious yet cozy. Being October it was a bit cooler in Qualicum, but with the electric fireplace and baseboard heaters I didn’t feel it inside! The kitchen had so many little touches that felt thoughtful, from drinks in the fridge, spices in the cupboard, and all the utensils and pans to cook a meal in. Barry was proactive with messaging and very responsive when I had a question ahead of my stay. A perfect weekend getaway!

Our party included 4 adults and two children. We stayed in the house for four nights. This is something which we do every summer, staying in different houses near Rathtrevor Provincial Park. We were happy with our rental this year (2024). We liked the fact that this complex includes a swimming pool. We also spent a lot of time at the beach. (We used the beach folding chairs which are available in the unit.) We also walked in the adjacent Rathtrevor Provincial Park. We also drove to some stores in town. The kitchen is well equipped. We used the BBQ for three of the dinners. It was useful that one of the bedrooms includes a desk. Sandy communicated with us (via the AirBnB app) several times. We had a great vacation. I should also mention that after we checked out we discovered that my granddaughter left a certain item behind. Sandy assured me that it will be mailed to us. Thank you!

Beautiful location and spacious with very high ceilings and a great view, well-built, well appointed accommodations. Eric was very helpful and responsive.

The Strand out of Pacific Shores Resort was perfect for my little family. The space is very modern & cozy. We utilized all the amenities such as the indoor & outdoor hot tubs, sauna, outdoor children’s heated pool in the winter, indoor swimming pool, spa and restaurant. Jenn & Nikki were amazing hosts super friendly & responsive. We felt so at home in their space. I was pregnant through our stay and enjoyed taking baths in the soaker tub with the fire place on. We took walks each day along the ocean and up into the estuary. One day we walked right to Rathtrevor Beach & stopped for lunch at Tigh-Nah-Mara Resort. I plan to return with my family in the future hopefully for years to come. This place holds its own magic and is great for island folks looking for a staycation. Our little one enjoyed the beach and playground. We enjoyed being close to Nanaimo, but far enough away you can take in the stars at night and listen to the ocean without the sounds of the city.

This unit was perfect for our needs. Love the code box rather than a key for entry and exit. The kitchen was well appointed with great selection of cooking utensils, pots and pans.
