Family-friendly holiday rentals in Cherokee

So everything was pretty much what I expected. The only downfall was I asked him in the beginning if I could hit the neighbors house with a ball if I threw it. This was asked because I wanted to know how close I was to the neighbor. I was told I could NOT hit the neighbors house with a ball. I get there and not ONLY can I hit it but I probably could have with my weak throwing arm. BUT... I'm over looking it BECAUSE the house next to mine was vacant the whole time. Would I stay in this house again ? ABSOLUTELY. I still say rock solid on Chris. He also gave a military discount. I don't think you will be unhappy in the cabin. I wasn't and I left it practically just as clean as I found it with the bed being an exception, no point in making it when in a short window the bedding would be changed out. Thanks Chris for the use of the house.

My group enjoyed our stay. The view is very beautiful and the house is gorgeously decorated. Beds were great and it slept 7 people very comfortably. We only had a few minor qualms with the place: the ice machine was completely overflowed and wouldn’t stop producing ice, so anytime you opened the freezer, a ton of ice would fall onto the floor. The host only provides a bar of soap and no shampoo, but I think it is pretty standard to provide at least shampoo, especially at the price point. The shower is gorgeous though. They had two coffee machines, but didnt provide and coffee. The propane tank on the grill was completely empty and we figured that out after we prepped everything to grill. Plus the igniter button was missing, so we couldn’t light it without physically using a lighter anyways. The propane for the outdoor fireplace only lasted about 20 minutes before it kicked the bucket too. Other than that, the stay was great! Those are just minor issues that we noticed.

This was a fantastic stay. It was identical to the pictures and impeccably cleaned. It had a beautiful view but was under 10 minutes to the heart of pigeon forge. Irina was extremely responsive. When we stayed there was a crazy windstorm causing some downed trees and Irina very quickly made sure things were cleared and we all were safe. I would stay here again!

This was probably the cleanest Airbnb I've ever stayed in, including the hot tub. It's cozy, comfortable, everything works great, it was easy to find and really peaceful. I would definitely return again for another getaway, we had a great time and really recommend it!

The Treehouse was pretty and comfortable. We had everything we needed in kitchen, plus plenty of linens and blankets. The fireplace and hot tub added to the experience. Brandon provided advice on getting to the cabin that helped us navigate the challenging mountain roads that I think had been impacted by the hurricane. This cabin was very cozy, but also large enough for the 4 of us to hang out, dine and sleep comfortably and could have easily accommodated a couple more. Due to weather we did not use the grounds but the view was as pictured and would be lovely, for a spring or fall visit.

You can’t beat the views from this location. Breathtaking! Cindy was very communicative and responsive to questions. We had one minor issue but she had maintenance there quickly to have things repaired and we were back in business. Thank you for the great stay!

Charle’s Cabin was terrific. It was clean, comfortable, spacious and in a gorgeous setting. We were in the area to volunteer clearing hiking trails from the storm damage and the location was very convenient to the trail heads and served as a great place to relax after a hard days work. They have everything you’ll need to feel at home and the stream provides a peaceful reminder to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the setting.

Such a beautiful and peaceful cabin tucked a way with a lot of hiking close by. The cabin was rustic, clean, and just as described/pictured. My boyfriend and I did a couple of nice hikes including Looking Glass Rock Trail as suggested by Lucas. Greg/Lucas were very accommodating and responsive.

We had a lovely relaxing vacation on the beautiful acreage! The home met all of our needs & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We’ve been coming to this area of TN for many years but Daniel’s place is the most serene we’ve ever encountered!! Thanks for sharing your beautiful homestead! 😊

The cabin was wonderful! The view was breathtaking and the cabin was very private. We enjoyed the serenity of the area. The cabin was well equipped with everything needed for a weekend away.

Inside, A-Frame of Mind felt spacious and very comfortable for our family of three + our pooch. With 3 levels of living space it felt much more open than other A-frames we’ve visited. All the systems & appliances worked and the beds were also comfortable…which can be a make or break for our vacations. Outside, there are neighbors close but things felt surprisingly private due to how the house is oriented on the mountainside. We were in a HD truck and had snow & ice during our visit. This made the last section of road and driveway a bit challenging due to the angles, but overall the road in is very well maintained.

We had a great time in this perfect little cabin! Very cozy and relaxing. The river just outside the house was a beautiful site especially from the hot tub. Nate did a great job responding very quickly and made sure our stay was great. Highly recommend!

We booked this trip to celebrate my Dad’s birthday and to go to Gold City Gem Mine. It’s his favorite thing to do when in the mountains. Lisa’s Place was perfect for our stay. It was very spacious, clean and well stocked for all our needs for the week. Lisa was so kind and surprised us with a bottle of champagne and some New Years goodies to help bring in the new year. Even though they were above us during the stay we hardly heard them the whole stay. Very quiet and peaceful place to spend time in the mountains. We will definitely be back.

5 stars in almost every category. Overall we had an awesome time and our girls enjoyed being so up close and personal with all of the animals! And the house was decorated for Christmas which was such a nice touch! We would love to come back to experience the area in the summer months!

My stay at Matt’s condo was absolutely wonderful! I only wish I had planned for a couple more nights. It was a beautiful view and he was honest with me about it being a sunset view but I also enjoyed beautiful sunrises with how the light hit the mountains. There was more than enough room for just me and the fireplace was a plus! It was comfy and cozy and Matt had so much info and recommendations for places to visit, eat and sightsee. I truly enjoyed my solo trip and will definitely stay at one of Matt’s places again. He was a wonderful, responsive host!

We spent 5 days here with some extended family. It was an awesome family vacation! The place was clean, had plenty of extra linens, the fireplace was cozy and the hot tub was hot!! We loved it!

Loved this place! Clean, cozy and a great host! It was on the 4th floor but it’s right by the elevators so don’t let that stop you from staying here! And don’t worry, we didn’t hear any traffic from the elevators! Plus, the guest had a sound machine and a box fan to sleep great and feel right at home! The Jacuzzi was very clean, usually I avoid these but this one was spotless. Perfect for a relaxing bath while watching a movie! Highly, highly recommend this place! We will be coming back!

Tony’s place is beautiful and has a great view. The cabin is well maintained great kitchen to hang around, exactly as describe. Tony is very responsive and willing to help. Is a beautiful place to stay.

The location is fantastic! Very close in but just far enough off the main roads that you feel you’re in the woods. We love hearing the train at Dollywood and watching the fireworks. The hosts are very responsive and have great recommendations if you need it. Will definitely be staying here again.
