Il soggiorno alla tenuta di Capocontro è stato molto soddisfacente. L'intero borghetto antico è un gioiello incastonato nel verde, con vista spettacolare sui boschi della Val di Chiana. L'alloggio in ordine e pulito, pittoresco ed elegantemente retrò. Piero e Lella disponibilissimi nelle comunicazioni e nei suggerimenti di luoghi da visitare e in cui mangiare. Abbiamo amato la pace e il silenzio del luogo, nonchè la piscina con vista. Ci siamo fermati poco e il meteo è stato un po' capriccioso, altrimenti ci saremmo goduti di più gli esterni della fattoria. Unico piccolo neo: le stoviglie e il frigo non erano proprio immacolati, ma nulla che non si possa risolvere con un colpo di spugna. Super consigliato sia per un soggiorno breve che per uno lungo, così da godersi la quiete del luogo e visitare i dintorni.

Lorenza and Nelly are wonderful hosts. They were waiting for my arrival at 9pm which was extremely generous. Their welcome and helpful tour of the property after a long day of travel was warm and inviting. The house itself is peaceful, private and extremely comfortable. I was visiting to enjoy the Strade Bianche bicycle race around siena and the location was perfect. I had some problems with the stove at one point, however Lorenza was communicative and very helpful. Overall staying at the property was lovely. A Beautiful wood fire every evening surrounded by peaceful nature really helped to make my stay relaxing. And the welcome gift of cake didn’t survive long either. Gratzie Mille Lorenza and Nello.

We were six adults, two children (3-year-olds) and one infant staying at the house for a week. It’s located in a secluded spot with a large garden and beautiful views of the Tuscan landscape. We used all of the five bedrooms upstairs and they were dark and cool. The kitchen and living room downstairs also stayed cool. Right outside the kitchen there’s a really nice spot that’s in the shade for the most part of the day, where we had most of our meals. This is a great place to relax and enjoy a dip in the pool. However, you definitely need a car to get around. The gardener came around several times a day to maintain the pool etc. We appreciated this, but might be good to know if you’re looking for complete privacy. We also had some issues with the bathrooms; one toilet and a shower didn’t work properly but were fixed within a day and this didn’t affect our experience. The washing machine didn’t work despite repeated attempts by the host to fix it. The barbecue is in the trash room.

ci siamo trovati benissimo il giardino privato poi una chicca ....nostro figlio e stato molto contento della dua stanza separata...in centro in 15 min a piedi e posizione fantastica per visitare la zona ...in cucina sono presenti un sacco di cose dalla colazione a un piatto di pasta in caso si arrivi tardi...veramente ottimo grazie carlo

Piero was very responsive. The property was very well equipped and located on beautiful land - surrounded by vineyards and open space across a valley. It was centrally located for our daily trips around Umbria and surrounding regions. It was very easy to get there from Rome airport. Loved the ability to buy / taste their wine which was wonderful. We would definitely stay there again in our travels through Italy.

我要如何赞美Maria Chiara的民宿呢~这是我此次旅行中最爱的一个住宿地点，美好得有一点梦幻和不真实。房子的具体位置我描述不清，离皮恩扎不远，我们开了一路的山路，很好找。漂亮的精心打理的院子是我的第一印象，一只可爱的小猫在院子里和我们慵懒地打招呼。Maria带我们去了所有的房间，一共三间超级舒适的卧室，两个配备齐全的厕所，还有大小两间起居室以及温馨的厨房。因为到达的时候已经很晚了，我们没有来得及在路上吃饭，打开谷歌地图，附近的餐厅都显示打烊了。我们只好非常不好意思地寻求Maria的帮助。Maria和他的家人给了我们很大的帮助，他帮我们打了一堆电话，前面好几个都说今天满座了或者是我们要打烊了，但是他们丝毫没有停下来的意愿，直到找到一家开门的披萨店。我们很顺利地找到了那家当地的餐厅，简直是我吃过最好吃的意面和披萨，而且价格非常公道。夜晚，我们在院子里品尝白天从酒庄带回来的美酒，漂亮的院子和星空，气氛太好了。第二天，我们得以认真打量这漂亮的房子，它已经有104岁了，但是房屋的状态特别好，是女主人辛苦在打理。房间的家具和陈列特别有地域的特色，也有复古的年代感，配色迷人得令人挪不开眼睛。我和朋友说，感觉就是住进了一家博物馆。Maria的厨房也有很意思，大概有大大小小5只咖啡壶，非常有生活的气息。我们要离开的时候，Maria已经在打扫院子了，我们用谷歌翻译聊了一会儿，再次感谢她热情的招待。这漂亮的房子承载了我对托斯卡纳最好的回忆，和我亲爱的家人还有可爱的朋友。

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming villa in Tuscany! The view was stunning, and the location was perfect—an easy drive to Florence, Siena, and San Gimignano. Emanuele met us at the villa upon check-in and gave us a thorough tour of the place. He just such a wonderful host!One of the highlights of our trip was the cooking class hosted by Emanuele and his sister Tammy, right in our villa. We learned to make ravioli, tagliatelle, delicious sauces, and tiramisu—it was such a special experience for our family. We stayed here with our three teenage daughters and would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

Wir fünf hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Jeder hatte ein eigenes Bett und ein eigenes Bad. Die Lage ist wundervoll, um etwas zu unternehmen. Außerdem war es schön ruhig (bis auf die Gäste über uns, die leider früh morgens am rum trampeln waren). Nada war wirklich wunderbar! Sie antwortet sofort und bei einem kleinen Problem, war sie sofort vor Ort. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit!

Un borgo meraviglioso immerso nel verde ma con tutte le comodità per trascorrere giornate all'insegna del relax e della tranquillità. Il borgo è stato ristrutturato in modo perfetto, lasciando intatto lo stile delle strutture. Gli appartamenti sono attrezzati con tutto il necessario e appena si mette piede fuori da casa si gode dei colori e dei suoni della natura, con la possibilità di fare anche un bel tuffo in piscina. Molto buono anche il ristorante e piacevolissima la compagnia dei cinghiali che si affacciano di tanto in tanto per un saluto. Davvero una bella scoperta!

Alistair & Maria are first-class hosts. From the moment our booking was confirmed, Alistair was proactive in his communications, very open and friendly, and incredibly helpful. Upon arrival he met us at the gate and showed us around the villa. The location is absolutely stunning. That evening we enjoyed time at the pool bar getting to know Alistair & Maria. Maria made lunch reservations for us the following day in Siena, the restaurant was amazing. Although our visit was short, we had a fantastic time and won’t hesitate to stay with Alistair & Maria again when we visit Tuscany next!

Staying at Simona's in Castiglione del Lago was magical!! The apartment, back yard, terrace and most of all the view were amazing!! Simona and Yens made us feel very comfortable and for me, Nahil and Cooper (their pups) added another level of warmth. Simona was always available if we had any questions, and we had many, and also made lots of suggestions for places to visit in the area and graciously willing to help us when we needed it. Grazie Simona, arriderci a più presto!!

Abbiamo passato un bel weekend nella tranquillità delle colline toscane in una zona non molto lontana da Arezzo. La piscina è abbastanza grande e ci si può rilassare tranquillamente sui lettini. l'appartamento è molto accogliente e dotato di tutto il necessario con patio esterno per poter fare colazione o i pasti. Infine un altro punto a favore va a Marika per l'accoglienza, l'ospitalità e la descrizione del posto con le varie attività da fare. Una host davvero impeccabile da cui si evince una vera passione per il suo lavoro mettendo cura nel mantenimento degli spazi comuni

Vi hadde en fantastisk uke i Casa Uliveto med hele storfamilien på 7 voksne og 7 ungdommer, og kommer gjerne tilbake. Både huset og eiendommen var nydelig og velholdt, og området var fredelig og trygt. Andrea var en strålende vert som svare raskt og ga oss god informasjon både før og under oppholdet. Vi fikk mange gode anbefalinger fra Andrea om lokale byer og restauranter, og vi brukte dagene godt til mye sightseeing i den vakre regionen. Høydepunktet var nok likevel kokkekurset som vi hadde hjemme i huset. Vi bestilte kurset gjennom Andrea, og de tre blide kokkene som kom, håndterte vår mangfoldige gjeng på strålende vis! De snakket kun italiensk, vi svarte på en blanding av engelsk, norsk og spansk (!), men jammen forsto vi hverandre godt likevel! Det var mye latter og gestikulering, og maten (4 retter) ble nydelig! Både store og små hadde en fantastisk kveld! Anbefales varmt! Takk for et nydelig opphold og flott vertskap!

We had a great stay at Piandarca. Davide met us at check-in and showed us to our apartment. After check-in offered welcome drinks which we enjoyed in the nearby veranda. The entire property is beautiful, with plenty to explore. Very pet friendly as well (a few dogs, cats, chickens, etc.). Plenty of amenities available, including optional extra's. We took advantage of a cooking class on-site one rainy afternoon, which was led by Anna and Davide in their on-site kitchen. As a group of Americans who can't speak any Italian, taking a cooking class led by the lovely Anna who can't speak English, was a very entertaining evening (it's all in the hand movements!). Luckily we had Davide to translate for us when needed. Our stay was the first week in October, and while the pool was open, it was too cold to use.

Wir waren 4 Nächte in Marios Unterkunft und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen. Mario ist ein super sympathischer und offener Gastgeber, der uns herzlich empfangen hat. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist super idyllisch - toll, um Ausflüge in die Region zu machen oder einfach auf der Terrasse die Seele baumeln lassen. Jederzeit wieder, vielen Dank!

Le seul chose que je pourrais dire de négatif c’est le manque d’éclairage pour la cuisine et salle à manger . Pour le reste tout est parfait si on aime le décor de la campagne:-)

When you stay with Fulvia you feel like you are a long lost relative coming for a visit! The surroundings are calming and picturesque and the home has a wonderful history as a restaurant. The house is very warm and inviting and spacious but maybe not good for those who crave minimalism. The AC works well and although there is no pool, the hot tub became a nice cool soak at night. She gave us a cooking class which was a wonderful experience and she arranged the menu around our likes and dislikes. She also had great recommendations for towns to visit and places to eat and also organized a wine tour close by. She and her family live on the ground floor, but it still feels private in the outdoor areas. We stayed there after a few days in Florence on our way to Rome and it was half way in between, so it was great location to visit towns on the way in and on the way out.

*Super super nice and relaxing* We had a great time and, above all, the relaxation we were longing for. The view was even more beautiful than we expected from the photos. Daniele was a perfect and very nice host. The accommodation inside and outside was also 100% what we had hoped for. Highly recommended!

Boggina was such a beautiful setting for our two families. There is no air conditioning, but the house kept beautifully cool by using the shutters in the day and using fans at night. The bedrooms were dreamy, full of trinkets from families past. The pool was fantastic and we enjoyed a lovely wine tasting tour! We basically didn’t want to leave! Many thanks team Marco 😊

Absolutely amazing location in the countryside! Communication was excellent. We arrived at night to find our location with specific instructions. We stayed in Casa Azurre, a 2-bedroom residence on the property. Thank you Marta for an amazing experience! We woke up in the morning to the most incredible views! We had a long itinerary to drive around Val D’Orcia, but could easily just stay here and enjoy our stay! We seriously loved it here!

Stefano è stato un ottimo padrone di casa durante il nostro soggiorno, estremamente disponibile e attento. La sua casa vacanza è un tuffo nel cuore della Toscana, ci ha permesso di tornare a ritmi più lenti e scanditi dalla meravigliosa natura che la circonda. La posizione è strategica, a pochi minuti da Cortona e dalle maggiori strade per raggiungere la Toscana in ogni punto. Raccomandiamo Stefano e la sua dimora con tutto il cuore.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Lidia, and I can confidently say it was one of the best travel experiences I've ever had! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and stunning views that took our breath away. The location is simply perfect—a peaceful retreat in the middle of an olive yard. The recommendations provided by our host were spot-on, guiding us to hidden gems that we would have missed otherwise. One of the highlights of our stay was the pool area, where we spent sun-soaked afternoons relaxing and enjoying the peaceful ambiance. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploration. Overall, Villa Lidia exceeded all our expectations. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or a family retreat, this is the place to be! I can’t recommend it highly enough, and I can't wait to return to this little slice of paradise in Umbria. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!
