Holiday rentals in Choc Bay

The place had everything we needed. We stayed for 17 days and cooked meals for the majority of it. Walked to the beach, just a short distance many times. Made use of the balcony and watched the tv in the evening. Also close to the market for produce almost daily, and bus terminal. We didn’t have car so walked everywhere in Soufriere. Botanical gardens, Fedos, the big Masseys, butcher on Bridge, next door beverages to the left and ice cream upstairs to the right. 2 bakeries on church st, and another with the good bread for $2.50EC a loaf past the gym and next to shoppers choice convenience store. Also Seashell restaurant on Hummingbird beach is nice. Took water taxis to Sugar and Anse Chastanet for snorkeling. Preferred Anse Chastanet so did it again, and snorkeled Hummingbird as well. Also enjoyed the beach bar of owner Innocence, and some food there as well.

Gorgeous view. 3 of the 4 rooms are en suites. Easy, quick path to the beach and Royalton Resort which is very accommodating. Cosmos (host) is kind, honest and responsive. Under five minutes to completely adequate groceries. Spinnaker’s beach/bar is also very close with typical Caribbean beach eats. Look for Donny in the parking lot, he’ll take good care of you. Beware; his rum punch is potent and delicious. Cosmos’s place is clean, his staff responsive. Lots of stairs, especially to top unit, so be aware. Some of the stairs lack handrails which are important for some. Overall, none of my gripes are dealbreakers, in my opinion. The place is fantastic!

Had a great stay at Dena’s place. The location is SO convenient, next to a supermarket and 10 mins walk to Rodney Bay mall, restaurants and bars. The beach is just another 10 mins, if that. The property was very clean, all mod cons, air con in every room, good wifi so I could work from the house, and a little pool out front which the kids lived in ;) Also, unusually for St Lucia, it was fully glazed so very few mosquitoes. There’s also good security so very safe. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to be in the heart of Rodney Bay.

We enjoyed our stay at Rachael’s cozy cottage. It was just what we needed for our nearly 2 week stay in Saint Lucia. Super close to beaches, Restaurants, duty free shops and supermarkets. You don’t need a car for those. If you have a car there is a spot available for parking which was very useful for us. The cottage is nicely tucked into Ridney Bay an excellent location. Rachael left goodies in the kitchen, drinks and snacks. This was a really nice touch. We didn’t need to rush to get water or drinks. There were enough towels, beach towels, kitchen utensils, cleaning products etc. This made our stay more comfortable. Communication was very easy. There was a list of useful numbers in the cottage. We appreciated this. We had one small issue with the gas which was quickly resolved. We appreciated the quick attention. We had a comfortable and amazing stay. We recommend Racheal’s comfy cottage. The apartment is tidy, clean, and very comfortable, with a great balcony to chill and relax and air conditioning in both bedrooms. The hosts are very responsive, helpful, and provide clear instructions. The accommodation is in a pleasant and well-maintained property with well-maintained gardens and a very nice pool area. A great sand beach is just a few minutes away by foot. Many restaurants and supermarkets for grocery shopping are also within a very short walking distance. The only (temporary) downside is the ongoing large-scale construction of a hotel next door which, at the time of our visit, was a very noisy site with heavy machinery rumbling and beeping from early morning till late evening, even during the weekend. Bear that in mind if you book this season (2025) and plan on spending most of the time in place, but have low tolerance for noise pollution throughout the day.

The Perfect place for my quick getaway. I would highly recommend if you need something safe and convenient !

We stayed in Adela’s one bedroom apartment on the third floor. Although there were 2 floors below us we heard nothing and only saw one other couple at the pool. They are presently upgrading the amenities of the complex including adding a restaurant so that their guests might enjoy some local cuisine. The apartment was charming and cozy and we loved the front porch which overlooks the ocean, the bay and the mountains - in fact, the views from every window are spectacular. The only drawback is the roads in the immediate area of the complex: steep, rough, unfinished and with many potholes. For those who want to stay in this wonderful mountain retreat I would recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle but that being said, everyone driving an SUV was able to access the property. Adela, the host, was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. I would highly recommend this property.

Esther was wonderful and made all the difference in our stay. She gave us great advice, made dinner reservations, drove us around, and went out of her way to enhance our experience. she is a true gem.

Beautiful scenery and villa. Minimalist, island vibes. Modest kitchen but met our needs. Our villa was right next to the pool, mostly had it to ourselves. There were bugs at times in the villa (cockroaches are prevalent on the island) but bug killer provided. Coffee maker, coffee filters provided. There is not a blender and you’ll need to plan to buy water to make ice cubes. The staff were phenomenal. Take time to get to know them as they can provide a lot of insider info on where to go while you are visiting. Tips go a long way with locals wherever you go. Plan to pay the Oasis office on site for the use of the ferry-20 usd pp. The ferry to Doolittles restaurant at the bottom of the hill says free ferry but it’s a deal they have with Doolittles. Over all we had a fantastic stay , and hope to come back again soon !
