Holiday rentals with lake access in Choctawhatchee Bay

We had a great stay at Todd’s house. The kids enjoyed the decorations, bunk beds, and loved the pool. The heater on the pool was nice to have! The beach was a 3 minute walk. Appreciate that they were very responsive when we had any questions.

Carolyn and Brian were wonderful, responsive, and kind hosts! The house was amazing, in the most beautiful neighborhood. We brought our dog, and enjoyed walking her around and met some friendly neighbors. We looooved the golf cart! The community pool was beautiful and the beach that you could golf cart to was nice and wide with plenty of space. The nearby restaurants Amici and Amigos were our go-tos for happy hour, and cafe aroma was our fav for local coffee (all walkable). We also enjoyed close proximity to rosemary and Alys beach, and it was only a 20 min drive up to seaside. We would definitely stay here again.

My family and I had a great stay here over July 4th weekend. The house is super comfortable and spacious for a large group while also providing nice privacy across the different floors. The location is perfect, walking distance to a nice pool/beautiful beach and a short drive to all the nearby beach towns. Would love to stay here again someday!

We thoroughly enjoyed Waves of Joy! The 2nd story house was solidly built and the rooms were very private. The downstairs master bedroom/bathroom was spacious and the king size bed was comfortable. The house decor was pleasant. The fenced in backyard was perfect for our dog. The neighborhood backed up to a lake that we rode our bikes to and we rode them to the beach as well. The couch was comfortable and there were plenty of blankets. The game room was a hit!

Susana is a first-class host. She's great at making her guests feel special. Her place has awesome showers and comfortable beds. It's in a light traffic, quiet, and upscale neighborhood with only a couple of cross streets going to dead ends, with a beautiful lake at the end of the street just a two-minute walk away. Highly recommend.

They were great to work with. Little trouble with the hot tub but not their fault it was switched to economy mode but they had the repair guy out right away until it was fixed. Really great with lots of plates and silverware and beach toys. Bunch of little things that make it nicer and easier for a stay. Thank you!

What an amazing place to stay at. The neighborhood was beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The hosts were amazing and excellent and professional when it comes to communicating. Our stay here was Excellent. Everything you could think of was available at the property. They even have a trolly, beach chairs and umbrellas. They truly made life easy for our stay. I would stay here anytime. Excellent pricing as well. I would recommend this place to everyone!!! We can't wait to come back and stay there.

My husband, dog, and I spent a week here and loved every minute of it! Carillon Beach is absolutely beautiful, the pools are amazing, and community is lovely. We loved being close to 30a and hopping around all the beach towns in the evenings, as well as being near pier park for our dog :) The unit is exactly what is pictured and had ample space for us. Seriously our dream vacation, we will 1000000% be back!

We LOVE this place!! Rick and Sylvia made us feel like part of the family. More then everything you need!! Fishing , restraints, beautiful natural surroundings. They gave us helpful tips on restraints, attractions , helped us fish and became good friends. The sweetest hosts we have ever had!! Very friendly but private. They provided everything!! And then some!! Helped us out soooo sooo much on sooo many levels. We came for a rodeo and just wanted a cool place to stay. This is definitely a gem of a place!! The space was super clean and equipped with everything. They also provided a lot of fishing equipment and a kayak and hammock for hanging out in between time. We got to hang out with them a bit, we are social . They are very cool!! Super sweet, helpful friendly, would give the shirt off their back kind of people!! This is what we look for in an Airbnb. They truly care about their guests!! Above and beyond for comfort!! The stay was incredible!! Thank you!! Can't wait to come back!!!

My stay was wonderful, me and my daughter’s really enjoyed the area. Simona’s condo is a must stay, it’s clean and equipped with everything you need in a home. We felt at home and I was very comfortable. The area was surrounded by everything…walking distance to the beach, all the favorite (well my favorite) restaurants to eat. Did I mentioned the complex had a two pools? Easy to get in and out of the complex, I loved it and enjoyed my stay. Thank you Simona for allowing us to spend our spring vacation in your condo. We/I look forward to booking with you again.

If you are looking for a scenic, relaxing ocean escape while near many things to do this is the place! The master bedroom is so close to the ocean you could touch it. The family room balcony has a gorgeous view of the lake & state park. It’s a short drive to downtown Rosemary beach & also near Seaside—those two towns were our favorite but there’s plenty more. These two just had the most character, Rosemary with its European vibe and Seaside with its food trucks. The condo is spotless and we lacked for NOTHING, with what is provided-which is a big deal since we stayed for a month. The host thought of everything one could need for an easy, comfortable stay. My kids LOVED the heated indoor/outdoor pool, especially since we had a lot of red flag beach days and some rain. My husband and I loved it too-very clean, and had a sauna! Had a gym I loved too. Lastly, a hidden gem we didn’t know was that in the cute little village the condo is in, there’s a walkable coffee shop, pizza joint & cafe

Place was beautiful and close to everything I needed.

Marina’s place was tidy, modern, and spacious! Me and my partner had a great time on the porch looking out at turtles and ducks in the steam behind her home! The bed was very comfortable and perfect for mid day naps after the beach! Water pressure in the shower is amazing! There is not a television in the bedroom but there is one in the living room. No water or ice in the fridge/ freezer. Beach is 100% walkable but you will be crossing main roadways in town. Overall great stay and great experience! Perfect for us in a pinch, and will be looking forward to staying here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Sandy and Larry's place. We have stayed off 30A several times but this was our first in Santa Rosa Beach. We go to this area specifically for the 18 mile pedestrian path. It's a wonderful location for walking and biking. This place was right by Eastern Lake and due to having double red flags the weekend we were down we were able to still enjoy the water play! I highly recommend.

Connie's cottage was just as described in the pictures & her description. She was always available to answer questions. My family loved her art work she displayed throughout her home & outside. Incorporating her incredible paintings & glass masterpieces gave an eclectic/European feeling. The master bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on with cotton sheets that were cool with a beautiful. Each room had its own t.v & plenty of room to relax after a long day at the beach. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need. Connie also left us with sparkling water & water bottles in the fridge. She also provided a small cooler along with beach chairs, umbrella, wagon and lots of toys, everything we needed for the beach. Her home was at the end of the street which made it private. Pretty twinkling lights and decorative art work covered the porch & arch ways around the property. My family stayed 8 nights, it was such a blessing to have found Connie's lovely home!!

Everything was wonderful except the Beach was soo over populated. Just To many people using one area. Unless you’re up for a very Long walk past all the crowds.

Cassandra was amazing! She was quick to respond, helpful with suggestions, and just made us feel right at home and an extension of the family. The cottage was adorable, functional, and very easily accommodated our family of 4 plus pup. The location was perfectly located in proximity to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. The outdoor shower is a cool and functional addition to the house. 10/10 Definetly Recommend!

We came for spring break and had a wonderful time! The neighborhood was very quiet and the house itself was perfect for our group, we also really appreciated all of the beach gear as that was where we spent most of our time. Also, we had bad weather and the host was able to extend our stay for us at a reduced price! We were so grateful for her flexibility and generosity, definitely recommend staying here whether with kids or for a girls trip!

Can’t wait to go back to Kathryn and Ron’s property. Was such an amazing weekend, they are an amazing persons and very gentle with us. The food was delicious and made by Kathryn, I loved the boat ride with Ron; husband and I were amazed by the Choctawhatchee river. For sure we will be back!

We had 3 families, 6 adults and six 17 year olds. We cooked every meal and kitchen was well equipped. Parking at the beach was very limited so the GEM cart (extra $) and free bikes worked out great. The pool was great with many chairs, tables, bathrooms, and umbrellas and has a large lawn where we played corn hole and Slammo. The house has two large living areas that allowed the teens to stay up late playing the many provided board games and watching movies on the large TVs. The back porch was nice for morning coffee. 4 bedrooms, 2 with connected bathroom, 2 without. All beds were very comfortable. The grill works well but bring utensils and a grill brush.

The cottage was a great location for a great price. We really enjoyed our time visiting the FWB area. Steve & Tara were friendly and helpful with any questions we had. I would recommend their airbnb!
