Beautiful and spacious home! Heated pool was so perfect to have for the kids. Loved how there was a room away from the rest so the kids wouldn’t wake up the rest of our family. We would totally rent this place again!

The house is awesome. Lots to do to keep yourself entertained. Great info and suggestions for things to do and places to eat out in the community. Check-in and check-out were both super easy. The wife and I had a great time.

We really enjoyed our stay! Upon arrival, we were greeted with fresh sugar cookies, which we absolutely loved. The cottage was cozy, making us feel right at home. We especially appreciated the peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle, and spending time around the fire pit was such a treat. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus! Having access to the river was a huge plus, and we even did a little fishing. Two nights just wasn’t long enough—we will definitely be back soon!

Omg, the place was great! Ashley was a great host made our stay extra special when she didn’t have to. The place was awesome and even though it was bit of a bad weather we still made the best of it. We couldn’t let bad weather get in the way of the hot tub which we really enjoyed and the fireplace inside made it perfect for staying indoors and enjoying time. Thank you Ashley for hosting us. Can’t wait to go back.

Absolutely Perfect Stay! Melinda is truly an amazing host! From the start, her communication was excellent, providing clear instructions and wonderful recommendations for the area. The house has fantastic amenities and a breathtaking view that made our stay unforgettable. The home was well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which had all the accessories we needed to cook delicious meals. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, the perfect place to unwind and enjoy quality family time away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Natalie’s place was nice, clean, quiet, and conveniently located a short walk from the river. She was very responsive and friendly and even offered to ship an item for free that was left behind.

Beautiful surroundings and secluded within a real nice neighborhood. Easy to get anywhere. A little cool for us to use the pool but the hot tub filled the void. We loved the place.

My family and I had an amazing Christmas at this Farmhouse. Debbie's description of the house is very accurate, check in/out was a breeze and she made herself available to answer any questions we had. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms super clean and the kitchen had absolutely everything we needed to cook our meals. Thanks!

My family and enjoyed our stay very much. We booked the house for Christmas and when we arrived the house had a beautiful Christmas tree set up and throughout the house was holiday decor. It really felt warm and cozy and we were extremely pleased with our experience. We definitely would stay again! Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

We stayed for Labor Day weekend and the ease of access to the river made for the perfect weekend. No worrying about parking, renting tubes, getting picked up by a van- just walk in and walk out back to the house. It is a beautiful little gem.

This home is in a perfect location for enjoying all of San Antonio. We were able to easily walk to the Riverwalk and found nearby grocery shopping, plus it’s convenient to the Pearl which is a must-do when visiting. The home itself is unique and well-appointed with comfortable furnishings and stunning artwork. Any time I head to San Antonio, I’ll be sure to check for availability of this home.

While the house itself is small, as described, the outdoor space is the real highlight. The property is beautifully maintained and offers plenty of activities, including kayaking, paddle boarding, and cornhole. The deck overlooking the river is absolutely stunning, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view. Overall, a fantastic stay for anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors!

Love staying in campfire circle and Donna’s place was no exception. It was perfect for our crew, had stunning views, lots of deer, and each room was cutely decorated for Christmas. The house is FULLY stocked with anything you may need, which is much appreciated. This is how Airbnb used to be before all the good properties were snatched up by corporations. Classic, family owned home with all the charm and attention to detail.

What an amazing place! The studio was clean and cozy with everything we needed for our stay. The yard outside the studio was a beautiful spot for outdoor dining on the giant picnic table. We enjoyed swinging in the hammock and sitting by the fire ring in the evening. We loved walking around the ranch and looking at all the flowers, the scenery, the horses (especially the new foal), etc. The hike around the mountain/hill was just strenuous enough with lots of beautiful views (be sure to bring water)! Finally, their spot on the river was perfect. At this time of year many spots have run dry or stagnant, however, at Montesino there was still enough water in the swimming hole to have a good soak. It’s warm (as all Tx rivers are at this time of year), and there’s moss covering the rocks (again, as every river in Tx has right now) but the water is moving so it’s not stagnant and it’s still cool enough before 3 pm to be refreshing! It was a lovely time!

The home was comfy and quaint. Loved the antiques. Although it took a minute to get used to the shower, but overall, a great experience.

Absolutely loved this house, felt like I was home. Kitchen was stocked with just about everything needed to prepare meals, plenty of towels for use. We loved the pool too. About 25 minutes to San Marcos. We thoroughly enjoyed Rose’s house and would highly recommend it!

We had a great stay, enjoyed the heated pool and was very relaxing after a long day in seaworld. Tiffany was very responsive.

I enjoyed the privacy of the cottage. Although the weather was too cold to enjoy, the backyard pool looked beautiful and inviting. The house was clean and the bed comfortable. I had a lovely stay.

We absolutely loved this condo and wished we were staying longer! It’s on our list of places to return to. Walking to Gruene Hall and The Gristmill was like going next door! Shopping was nearby, and the condo was perfect for 5 of us. Gina’s recommendation of the Pantry at Gruene Mansion was perfect too—a fabulous breakfast before we left town.

Great place to stay, in a good area of town. The house was clean and very accommodating. Host was also great!
