Smoking friendly holiday rentals in City of Monash

Alex’s location was perfect for us to get together the Australian Open and to explore Melbourne for a week. The tram lines to get to the CBD, St. Kilda Beach, South Melbourne market, etc. were close by. There were many restaurants, bars, and the Prahran Market a few blocks away, yet the apartment was quiet and comfortable. No problem getting a good night’s sleep. The kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated the washer and dryer. Alex was a great host and we would definitely stay in his apartment again if we make it back to the Melbourne area.

Lauren’s place was in a perfect location for us travelling to and fro from the AO. Local Coles and Richmond Markets very handy and local cafes and restaurants a plenty. Her place was impeccable, clean and stocked with plenty of supplies. Would definitely stay again come the AO 2026.

David’s studio apartment was fantastic. It was exactly as described. It was lovely and clean and very well set up for our stay. There were bathroom products and cleaning products so we didn’t have to purchase anything immediately. Tea and coffee was abundant. And the packet of Tim tam’s left in the fridge was fabulous with a cuppa on arrival. The apartment was very central to restaurants, the beach, public transport and a supermarket. It was very easy to find. David gave very clear instructions on how to get in and was very responsive to any queries we had ( not that there was any because he had it all covered) There was good security and we felt very safe there. Even though the apartment is on a main street the traffic noise didn’t bother us at all ( and we come from a country property). But David had that covered because he had very thoughtfully left some ear plugs by the bed should we need them. We stayed for 1 week and would definitely stay again.

Great base in Fitzroy for our 3-night stay. Central to Brunswick Street and surrounded by excellent restaurants and coffee shops. Apartment was comfortable and quiet. Hosts provided helpful local recommendations. Perfect location for exploring the neighborhood.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

From first to last contact, including our stay, this was a great experience. Claire was lovely to deal with and super-responsive and thoughtful. The apartment was exactly as the photos but with the added benefit of beautiful bedding, towels etc and high quality crockery and kitchenware, great coffee-making facilities. Everything we needed and more. Plus lovely balcony, cool interior on hot days, and nice peaceful spot right on the doorstep of lots of great shops, cafes, pubs etc. We were so glad to have booked Claire and NIck's place, especially for a Christmas away from home - it felt like a home away from home with added extras, a retreat right in the heart of things. We had a great stay at this apartment, it was clean and tidy. Everything was as described, and loved having my car inside.

We stayed here for a week and couldn’t be in a better location! Pubs, restaurants and shops all on your front step. The place is exactly as the pictures show and plenty room for 3 people. Good range of kitchen utensils, bathroom equipped and good working washing machine/Wi-Fi. The fan kept us cool in the Melbourne summer heat but could’ve done with a second fan for the person sleeping on the sofa. Overall though a fantastic bargain and would definitely recommend!

Aside from the amount of steps, the place was great. We were also able to feed the birds. It can be a bit cold due to the timed heater for those who are more accustomed to a warmer weather during the cold season. It has a great private outdoor bbq area as well.

We were looking for a family space in Carnegie to be close to family living in the area. This unit was exactly what we needed. Thanks Adrian.

Great host, great place and my kids loved it. 5-10 mins drive to pharmacy, grocery/supermarket and restaurants. Quiet and very comfortable. Will definitely come back again in future.

Safe and secure location. Easy access and great little yard for the dog. Extremely clean and well presented place. Great stopover for one night for me, but could have easily stayed a bit longer Vivian was extremely flexible and even contacted me about leaving a few items there for me to pick up later.

The location is great. You can walk to everywhere without a car or Uber driver. It's 5 min walk to many Italian foods and a cute grass field, 10 min to the Uni Melb and tram station. Host Valeria is friendly and always responsive. The self check-in was really smooth. The accommodation was tidy and nice. The sofa and bed were cozy.

This apartment is undoubtedly one of the best we have been in airbnb. Super nice, comfortable, cool and in a fantastic situation. It has everything you need and beds were very comfortable. We couldn't ask for more. Moreover Jacqueline was lovely: a great host, very kind and responsive. We will try to go back when in Melbourne.

Leylas property was fantastic! Great location and the views were amazing. The only issue I had was the car park was a bit technical but leyla gave very clear instructions. Great if you’re going to just leave your car, bit of a hassle if you are going in and out. Overall great property, would recommend!

Such a beautiful welcoming stay that feels like home. It was the perfect location for exploring Melbourne and so close to every major tourist attraction. Ky was so friendly, welcoming, and pro active on chat. She gave us some great recommendations for local attractions. Kitchen was fully stocked and perfect for cooking a meal at home too. P.S. We had an amazing time at this apartment! The owner was incredibly communicative and made everything super easy with clear, detailed instructions. It was clear she really cares about her guests’ experience. The location was perfect—just a short walk to cafes, bars, and pubs, and only a quick trip to public transport and the city center. Stayed for the F1 race with a few friends. Great location. Walking distance to the race, plenty of nice restaurants and bars nearby. Very nice rooftop with great view. And friendly host. 👍🏻

Beautiful and sunny top floor apartment. The place was very quiet but in great location near all the shops and bars in st Kilda. Lawrence was very helpful and quick on responses.
