MINIMUM 2 NIGHTS BOOKING NO CHILDREN UNDER 10 Extension to existing bungalow, consisting of sitting/dining area, kitchen, bedroom (superking bed) and bathroom. Wonderful views over countryside to Smardale viaduct on the Settle to Carlisle railway. Smardale nature reserve is 100 meters away, with opportunity to see red squirrels, deer and rare Scotch Argus butterflies. PLEASE BE AWARE ACCESS TO THE RESERVE MAY BE LIMITED FROM JAN TO END MAR 2024 DUE TO TREE FELLING WORK. Dark sky designated area

Moorside.Cosy country hideaway in pretty village.

A lovely purpose built annexe, with fitted kitchen to include washing machine,dishwasher,refridgerator,oven/hob and microwave.Lounge has TV with dvd,books and games,wi-fi,sofa-bed and French doors to garden with garden chairs/table and BBQ.The bedroom has a superking sized bed that can be unzipped and unlinked to make two singles if required and built-in wardrobes.Bathroom has shower over bath with basin and W.C.The property has underfloor heating and secure outside storage for bicycles etc.

The cottage is a recently refurbished barn conversion ideally located just 2 miles from the historic market town of Barnard Castle. The property offers plenty of private parking, and outdoor seating area to the front and pretty courtyard to the rear with outdoor seating . Dogs are subject to an additional £25 per stay. Maximum one fully house trained well behaved adult dog by prior permission from owners.

Driveway parking is shared with owners and can accommodate one guest vehicle. Owners Tessa and Dave live in the adjoining main farmhouse and are available via text/in person if needed.
