Beautiful view and big rooms. Could have included bit more utensils in the kitchen with proper lids and body lotion, shampoo etc in the bathroom. Everything else was perfect.

Outstanding view and o action - probably couldn’t find better. Great unit for us - balcony with fantastic view and reading sunroom also with same marvellous view.

The property was exactly as advertised during my stay! On top of this, the hosts kept us incredibly informed on how to stay safe with some of the extreme weather conditions in nearby areas. Incredible host and would happily recommend to anyone looking for a stay in Apollo Bay.

Thanks for taking the booking, place was very clean, towels didnt smell good and can put some other scent in the house to make it feel better. Overall, I will recommend to reduce the price to give more value.

We love the house and location, Tim was so helpful and his hospitality was perfect, everything was provided at home. Beautiful view and very short distance to the ocean. There was so exciting river exactly front of the house.

Sharon's place is very lovely. The location is perfect, about 50 steps to the sand! It's a beautiful stroll to the Main Street with terrific cafes and restaurants. Everything you could need is at the house and the kitchen is very well-equipped should you choose to stay in and cook. The whole house is spotlessly clean and the garden is well maintained. We throughly enjoyed our stay with our 16yo twins, who enjoyed having their own rooms and queen sized beds. The views are stunning and the sunrise from the balcony is well worth getting up for. We highly recommend Sharons house!

The property was very clean. And very spacious (it’s bigger than it looks on photos). All the amenities work perfectly. The best views I have ever seen from an Airbnb. Definitely worth the price. The only flaw is the fact that access can be a bit difficult. Especially with a sedan. It’s about 100m of gravel road to enter the property. With no guard rails. Have to be quite careful. Driveway is also steep, but that’s normal for the area.

Best views by far of any place we've stayed in, glorious views of the sea and the bush all around. We spotted koalas, kangaroos, wallabies and many native birds near the house. The three separate living areas made this a brilliant place for a large family group as it was so quiet for sleeping and playing games separate from others when needed, but there was also a really lovely big shared living space. The local coastline is stunning, with a 5 minute drive to the coast and 10 to a good patrolled swimming beach, and scenic drives to both Lorne and Apollo Bay. Brigitte was super friendly, responsive and easy to deal with. We won't forget this unique stay.

This is our second stay at Kareka and it was just as comfortable and well equipped as last time. There is nothing nicer than falling asleep to the sounds of crashing waves in a warm, soft bed. Has all the amenities you need for a relaxing getaway, and a convenient drive to nearby shops and other sites of the beautiful Otways. Thank you Sally and Kate, for being great hosts!

Staying in this house provides a very special experience, taking you back to a different era. The kitchen is well equipped with all the spices and sauces you can think of.

Exceeded our expectations. Beautiful views and peaceful surroundings. Hated to leave! Would definitely stay again!
