Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Colchester

Maryke went out of her way to make our stay so comfortable, the small gifts she left everywhere for our daughter and the thought behind the welcome snacks, the personal gifts in each room. Maryke was always available if and when needed, and she kept checking in on us, if we needed anything. I would not just recommend the place, but 100% recommend Maryke as a host.

Firstly, no words could ever describe this home & how beautiful it is! Linda definitely deserves more than 5 stars. What a superb home! Literally has everything you could eeever imagine you need. Literally. The pool table, indoor braai, the pool & it's changing colours were our top highlights. We swam till 2am on some nights! The water feels warmer once you dip in. Every single day was perfect. The ocean view is beyond spectacular!! The house is squeaky clean and spacious and has all the entertainment one could need. Board games, Apple TV..etc. What a truly beautiful week we had! What a warm and lovely person Linda and her husband are. They offered us a tour of the home just a few days before check in and made us feel right at home the moment we stepped into the house!! They even allowed us an early check in on the day which helped us maximise on settling in and enjoying Searenity. By far the best home out there. What an inspiration & a true display of passionate & professional hosting

Excellent stay! Spacious house and cozy at the same time. Very comfortable and very well located. The host Nicolas and the team are also very communicative. If we ever pass by Port Elizabeth again, for sure we will look to stay here again.

The house and location was great, my family enjoyed the stay. Just note the place is a bit remote, having a car will come in handy.

I stayed here with my husband; our parents and grandparents; and we all had a wonderful stay at Graeme’s place. The house is large and spacious; and very comfortable. Everything we could possibly need was available for use. The proximity to Addo was perfect as well; less than 5km from the gate. I would absolutely recommend this property - 5 stars for sure!

Great clean place, well worth the money in the area

We had an amazing time at this property! So much character…..it was like walking in to an art gallery. Ample space for a large group, and a stunning view of the ocean. Melissa stayed in touch during our stay and was quick to answer any questions we had. Would definitely recommend.

Hayden’s place is huge and much bigger than it looks on the photos. We only stayed for a couple of nights to visit Addo Elephant Park so didn’t make use of the hot tub or massive telly but would have been great to have a few more nights to use them. The house is well secured with alarm systems. Henri was our main point of contact and was friendly and easy to contact if needed.

Nyameka was an exceptional host! The place exceeded our expectations in every way. It was immaculately clean, stylishly decorated, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Beautiful apartment at a very quiet and secure location with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. -Apartment was clean -Loved the kitchen with all the appliances we needed to prepare food. -Loved the indoor braai area. -Loved the heated pool. -Nice views from the bedroom balcony. -Ample parking space Host was friendly and quick to respond

Me and my son really enjoyed staying there and felt at home. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the flat and all the amenities at our disposal and with having a full D.S.T.V bouquet for our viewing pleasure was just the cherry on the cake. We forgot to talk about where the key and remote should be left as we had to check out quite early on Sunday morning to get to the airport, but I just left it inside the door, but further more am very glad we chose to stay there and Hester our host were very friendly. Will recommend this place to anyone and will happily stay there again.

We had a relaxing stay at Gavin's place. Very nice sea view from the braai area where we spent lots of time to relax. Private and exclusive use for us as guests of the cottage.

Be prepared to have a pleasant stay in this uniquely beautifully decorated home. It stimulated my travel senses as it was apparent that the hosts are adventurous and do appreciate the finer things of life.

Good place for rest along the way, can also book for leisure. The host was very responsive and kind. Looks exactly like in pictures.

Chene's place is tranquil and peaceful. We enjoyed waking up to the sound of birds every morning. It felt like you were in a forest but still in town close to restaurants, beaches etc. The house, appliances and design are all top notch. we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. Lovely place to unwind and relax.

This place is a gem and we really enjoyed our stay. There are many special touches that Eloise added to the place which makes you feel right at home. And nothing beats your first cup of coffee in the morning watching the sunset with the waves breaking. We miss the ocean and if you are an ocean lover this place is 100% for you. We also had loadshedding whilst in PE and our house was not affected at all. This is a big plus for sure.

The place was beyond our expectations. We even felt that we paid lesser than what we got. The place accommodated us all and we all felt home. It was so spacious and clean. Elegant and homely. Also the location was the best. The place was super safe and secured. There is no doubt that I would rebook or recommend this accommodation. I loved every part of our stay. Lovely modern place to stay with easy access to addo and lots of fun stuff to do on the river. Lovely pool and entertainment areas. would definitely recommend.

The Sun villa is beautiful. It looks exactly like the pictures. The views are amazing from every room. We had a great stay and Tanya was extremely responsive, accommodating and available to answer our many questions about PE even weeks before we arrived. She promptly took care of any issues that came up. We really enjoyed the house. It was the perfect spot for us to discover everything PE has to offer while enjoying a very peaceful neighborhood.
