I was looking for a place near Colombo for a Friday night getaway with friends, and I came across Ryan’s property in Maharagama. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how spacious, modern, and sophisticated the place was. The architecture, choice of colors, and thoughtful spatial arrangements created an inviting and stylish atmosphere—it even became a topic of conversation among us. Everything about this stay was exceptional—the cozy beds, comfortable couches, and the fully functional kitchen that had everything we needed. Every member of our group had something to appreciate, and we spent hours admiring the details. The lake in front of the property was a lovely addition to the view. However, while it’s something beyond the owner’s control, it was covered with aquatic plants—I just wish that wasn’t the case. The host was incredibly welcoming, making the experience even better. Welcome to paradise. Everything was perfect. We felt very comfortable and safe. The best part of the place was Jagath, who was always there when you needed him. He is a very friendly and helpful person. A highlight was the tour of the garden where everything possible grows, from cinnamon, mangoes, star fruit and other exotic fruits. The pool and the whole facility were very modern and luxurious. The place was the best thing about the whole vacation.

Honestly this is one of the best villas I’ve ever stayed in! I’m not exaggerating when I say this because the whole stay exceeded all our expectations The host Yannik was very gracious and accommodating to our early check in request. Every detail was clearly communicated in a friendly way and he was always on top of things to make sure we had a comfortable stay. The pool was definitely our highlight of the villa! We enjoyed swimming in the day, at night and even on the next day while it rained. The view around the pool is quite colorful and calming because of all flower plants surrounding the area. The villa was quite cozy and it had all the necessities a group may need. We had the best time making unforgettable memories and can’t wait to come back again!

We loved our two stays at the villa. Beautiful location and we loved watching the fisherman in the lagoon. We were lucky enough to have lizards and otters visit the garden as well as parrots. Saja the housekeeper made both our stays even more special as did the Tuk Tuk driver Adin. The Crab Cove restaurant next door ran by the inspirational Aruna and his beautiful wife was a real treat and we were there three times. We are already thinking ahead to our next stay! Thank you

Very good villa! First of all, it’s rather big and spacious, enough place for a big company or family. Beautiful garden and swimming pool. Safe parking for your car.

We had a great stay and Janith's Airbnb. Really good communication, and care taker was around if we needed any help with anything. Perfect for a group stay. Was clean, tidy. Pool was exactly what you needed with the heat and lit up in the evening so you could still enjoy it at night time. Would recommend... looking Forward to coming back :)

The property with the pool was a great deal! The pool & all the rooms and living spaces were clean and well maintained. The 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms had all the amenities listed including bed linen, towels etc. It was spacious for us to have our friends over to celebrate our birthdays together. Waruna was very accommodating, helpful and friendly. His mom opened the house to us and showed everything around. Note to remember to get down her phone number to call when checking out. There is a friendly cat, three was fish to feed him. Adorable! Definitely reccomend staying over!

It was a great place to stay, the owner did try to accuse us of mishandling their furniture. But it was resolved amicably, would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area. It is quite a drive from the main city, Colombo.

I was very happy with my stay at Osho's place. Exceptionally clean, functional and good quality furniture. One of the very few places in SL where the kitchen is spacious and well resourced, specially cooking pots were new and of great quality. Everything was top notch.... Congratulations to this family for putting so much care and attention. Location is perfect close to beach and to shops and transport. Ranjit, their father lives downstairs and was available by phone and personally when needed. For a solo female traveler very very safe indeed. I highly recommend Osho's place....you will be delighted and surprised on how welcoming this place feels As I need to return to Colombo I have already booked my second stay

Villa Tranquility is a highly recommended place for all! Angela was very friendly and helpful with fast response times. The accommodation is clean, homely, convenient and safe. Private entrance and gate with parking space was handy. Location was perfect, had no trouble with Pickme taxis or food deliveries. The wifi was fast, home including kitchen had everything you needed and was well-stocked. The air con was strong and the bed comfortable for a restful sleep each night. Angela also has a great selection of meals including Sri Lankan cuisine which I had thoroughly enjoyed during my stay and just made it so easy for my stay. Thank you Angela!

I spent the last four weeks in this most beautiful house in Sri Lanka, by far the best Airbnb rental which I have occupied on the island. The place is exactly as described, and suited my needs perfectly. The house, furniture, and furnishings are modern, and having a private the garden is an added benefit. The host was easy to communicate with, and having Ajith, the caretaker/manager who is always available, and ready to help, was definitely an asset. Thank you providing an unforgettable stay in Sri Lanka, and I will definitely keep this place at the top of my list, for my next visit to the island.

Ms. Udeni was very helpful when we stayed and her place was very peaceful, had wonderful surroundings and is very clutter free and clean.

Enjoyed the stay..very quiet once inside the house. Flet like home with ample space to walk around.

Hosts gave clear instructions for me to get to the location without any hassle, also they were there to receive me even though I reached the place late night, really appreciate that. Overall the place is good with all the required facilities.

The property is really well maintained. A full self service check in and out is available which is really helpful. The beds are super comfortable and towels and fluffy! I only spoke to the host twice during my stay however she was on what’s app the whole time and really responsive. I may take a group of friends back next year as it’s a perfect location and so private which I really ❤️

The house was very nice and we highly recommend it. It was very close to the swimming pool and several shops. It was also very easy to communicate with Ransika and her father. We overall had a wonderful time at this house.

A very peaceful, lovely environment to spend our leisure. The house interior was spotless, and the furniture was very beautiful, kitchen utensils were all available and clean. It was very easy to use all the housewares for our use. Bathrooms were gorgeous, sophisticated and very clean. I definitely recommend this home to anyone wanting to spend their time here.

I had an amazing five-night stay at Canal View Cottage. The place exceeded my expectations—it’s even more valuable than the listing price! The host, Shira, was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The cottage offered a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. Kumar’s place was fabulous. Jaya (house keeper) was such an amazing help, simply made our stay luxurious. Tuan (manager) was very responsive and helped with arranging everything.

The house is beautiful with well maintained garden area and ponds. On several occasions we got to witness beautiful birds taking bath in ponds and drinking water. everyday early morning we woke up to the peaceful sound of birds chirping.. The house is well maintained with a personal touch by Mr. Sumal. It had all the amenities and facilities we could ask for. Mr. Sumal is an excellent host who was very helpful and responsive throughout our stay. I would certainly recommend the place and this would be my first choice to stay whenever I visit colombo. Home away from home, secluded and private with fresh air and natural surroundings

The place was spotless and well-maintained! We stayed for over a month, and Janith’s dad was always available and happy to help whenever needed. As it was my first time using Airbnb, I was a bit nervous, but Janith reassured me that the place was safe and it truly was. Its proximity to the city was incredibly convenient.
