Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Columbia County

This home was absolutely gorgeous with the best views of surrounding nature. It was full of character and had plenty of room for our family. With so much charm, we felt right at home. The street was immensely quiet and peaceful. It was only about 15 minutes from Knoebel’s amusement park- which is the reason for our trip. It was about 10 minutes away from local food establishments. Close enough, yet far enough away! We cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. We would love to come back again. Thank you for having us!

This was our second stay and we hope to stay longer in the future. This setting is as peaceful as it gets in our experience and we love the ridgetop views. It was magical this time when it started snowing in the morning. Love the old farmhouse and its amenities and the grounds. Still haven't tried the tub in the master bedroom; maybe next time. We want to bring the whole family.

We love this property, I take my own children and all of our grandkids, they have room to run. The house is big so we are not on top of each other. I will go back year after year!

My family had a very comfortable stay at Jami’s place while we visited the area for our trip to Knoebels. The location was great and in close proximity to the park as well as some other local spots we enjoyed. I would definitely recommend staying here!

perfect little property in a pretty neighborhood. love how close to everything in town you are without it feeling that way. also very helpful & informative hosts!

Host was quick to respond when the boiler was turned off and walked me through how to turn it on so we didn’t freeze to death. Place was very spacious and way better than sticking the whole family in a couple of hotel rooms. Would definitely stay there again the next time we plan a trip to Knoebels. Walkable to the coffee shop next door, Dollar General across the street and Sheetz right up the street.

We visited for our son’s birthday, it is close to Knoebels Amusement Park, we felt right at home, the host asked about this and they prepared a little surprise for my son, they were so thoughtful , also left prepared a s’mores set to use in their fire pit. Their layout matched our need for space perfectly, we had time to enjoy some relaxing time at home and go to the park and go shopping. The kids had a great time, they are asking when can we go back on that vacation trip again. The perfect home had a big role to play in their memories of a wonderful time. I absolutely recommend it, we’ll be coming back in the future for sure!

I was really impressed by the apartment! The hosts put a lot of thought and care into the details which, as a person who has stayed in a lot of AirBnBs over the years, can make all the difference in the world. Super clean, has everything you'd ever need for home cooking, and is very well-situated in town. I would definitely stay here again. And don't let the parking make you nervous. They made a map in the welcome binder that explains it very clearly and never had trouble finding a spot right next to the building. Would stay here again!

We came into Shamokin for a family event and Joe’s place met our needs for a 1 night stay. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Jess's place was just as described. It was just what we were looking for. My kids had fun feeding the animals. The place was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with the essentials. It was secluded like we want it to but also a close drive to town.

Samantha was so responsive. Literally in mins sometimes but always very soon. The place felt like home. It was so quiet and peaceful. This was by far the best stay I’ve ever had through airbnb. I have absolutely nothing negative to say. It’s walking distance to so many restaurants. The post office was right across the street. Everything was walkable. The place is in a quaint little town. Right in DT Bloomsburg. I just can’t say enough good about my stay. Five stars all the way. Thank you Samantha!!!
