Holiday rentals with a beach view in Columbia River

Lovely home. Beautifully decorated Spacious with great views of Puget Sound. It’s on a steep hill with sharp twists and turns to get there but they were manageable. Loved having the private garage for our car.

Our stay at the Olympic View Cottage was simply fantastic! Thanks to Jan for being a wonderful host—the fresh homemade granola and breaking out the futon and toys for our toddler were nice touches and greatly appreciated. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Absolutely fantastic! Maybe the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in. We had eight people and it felt roomy and comfortably sized. Every amenity you could think of - cookware we don't even have at home, hundreds of games, a pool table, shuffleboard, lawn games, cozy fireplace, everything. Exactly five minutes walk to the beach, nestled in among the seagrass. Inside, a cozy living room with ample seating, a gas fireplace, a huge dining table, and comfy beds in the bedrooms. Seven minutes to Long Beach if you want any in-town amenities. On our way out the door, we were already talking about booking this spot again.

Great price for being so close to the beach. Their home was beautiful and stocked with everything we could have wanted! I will definitely be booking again if I am ever back in the area.

Our group had a wonderful stay! The home is exactly as pictured, and was perfect for our group of 9 (ages 30 - 60). The views throughout the home are incredible, and we could not stop talking about how the kitchen had everything we needed. From an espresso machine, to a griddle, to actually having dishes/cutlery to accommodate the amount of guests the home sleeps. While we visited in February, and thus did not spend much time outside, there were no signs of going stir crazy from our group because there was space to be together and apart, and everything felt so open. The heated floors were a pleasant surprise, and added a wonderful warmth to the modern space. We would love to stay again!

Our girl gang and babies had one of the best trips ever at Tamela's place. We felt at home instantly and had everything we needed for comfort and convenience. We especially enjoyed cooking together in the big kitchen and stepping outside for the beauty of the springtime and river. We discovered many cute little shops on our walks and Mount Si was amazing to view at every turn. Thank you, Tamela!

We had a great time at the cottage. The location was perfect - extremely quiet but still close enough to town to be able to walk. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. Suzanne was a wonderful host, very quick to respond and the one time we did run into an issue she got it resolved immediately. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again the next time we’re in Vashon.

The house was lovely and well-appointed. Everything was clearly labeled and easy to find/use. Gorgeous views in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. Great location to go enjoy nature at Dash Point state park or to go enjoy city life in Tacoma. They are wonderful hosts who are very responsive and helpful. Would love to stay again!
