Tiny house holiday rentals in Comal County

Absolutely loved this house, felt like I was home. Kitchen was stocked with just about everything needed to prepare meals, plenty of towels for use. We loved the pool too. About 25 minutes to San Marcos. We thoroughly enjoyed Rose’s house and would highly recommend it!

I absolutely loved the place. It reminded me of my old house on Stone Oak overlooking a green belt full of deer and cows. Being from LA having a peaceful place with no car sounds or people is a rarity, as I slept like a baby. Even though my hedge fund lost lot of money during my stay, I still rested great and would stay here again. Great place for introverts.

We had a great time at Carrie’s place. We had the whole area to ourselves and the view was very nice and peaceful.

This is a perfect spot to relax and get away from it all while still being close to town with great shopping and restaurants. The property is beautiful and the home was very clean with great amenities. Super comfortable daybed downstairs with great bed and bath linens. Host was very responsive to any questions.

We loved our stay, the hot tub was incredible, cabin was cozy, and deer came right up to the porch! Owner made sure our Valentine’s Day weekend was perfect!!They even allowed us to extend our stay for an extra day at no extra charge! Absolutely would stay again, thank you Ashley!!!

This place is absolutely stunning and amazing. It is the perfect place to disconnect and have privacy. It is close enough to town for easy browsing but far enough away to really relax. Definitely will be booking again probably this year for my birthday!

Beautiful and peaceful place to stay at. Lake to wake up to every morning. Kayaking and fishing was fun! My family enjoyed it!

We had a magical stay at this lakeside cottage. It was both the whimsy and quiet respite our family needed. We enjoyed waking to the stunning lake views through the expansive windows and traversing the cliff to the private lake shore. The setting was serene, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. Highly recommend for anyone looking for tranquility and a bit of exploration.

This Airbnb was perfect for us. Just right for a party of two. We had everything we needed. The neighbor’s goat was a hoot. And the owner’s chickens and deer were a treat. Only 35 mins to downtown SA with everything you need close by. We loved the rural peace and quiet with the convenience, too. We will be back!

This little triangle of an oasis was such an amazing find! It was very clean and had everything you need, my favorite part was the tub and the record player. Also making memories in such a cute little cabin, felt like home. We had a small hiccup when we first arrived, the wifi was down but within 10mins they were there and fixed it! Amazing support and response time. Definitely hope to come back in the near future, I wanted to use the fire pit and hammocks but couldn’t because it was freezing during my stay, but there’s always next time 🤞🏽 10/10 girl I recommend!

We chose this Airbnb for the beautiful views and it certainly delivered! It was clean and had everything we needed. I’d recommend staying here for the view and if you don’t mind a cozy/smaller space. 2 things to be aware of prior to booking: 1) my 6’1 husband walked up & down the stairs to the second bedroom and felt like not only were they extremely steep (the ad warns of this), but they didn't feel stable either. I’m glad we only needed to use the main floor bedroom. I personally wouldn’t book the Airbnb needing to use the second floor bedroom. 2) the driveway is so steep that the bottom of our car (sedan) scratched it. If you have a low car, I’d be careful of this and not try to park in the driveway at all.

Great cozy romantic getaway. Carol was an amazing host, very responsive and welcoming. The place was well taken care of and there is lots to do in the surrounding area! Definitely will be coming back soon.

This was the perfect place to stay for a small getaway weekend! The community was quiet and peaceful, the stars at night were beautiful! The cabin itself was clean and the perfect size for our party of 4. Also the fact that it is pet friendly was a huge plus, our dog Charlie, thanks you! Will deff stay again if we are in the area!

Stayed at the Green Retreat. Great location with equal drive to Whimberly and Canyon Lake area. Extremely peaceful overall. Was kinda surprised to see the high school and stadium so close. Could hear the Friday night football game clearly. But good thing is, it’s over early so no interruption in our peace or sleep overall. Loved the views and property. Never did make it down to the creek area , maybe next time. Be prepared for a rough 1/2 mile driveway! But they do warn you not to come in a tiny car. Danielle was so sweet and super helpful with making sure our booking went right and we were happy. Five star host.

We were elated to find this peaceful, quaint cottage with amazing views! We wanted a place to recharge and be with our pups. This place is genuine fashionable cottage style with a wood burning fireplace. It is cozy with style! We loved it, our hosts were perfect. Fresh eggs available to go get yourself a fun plus! Beautiful canyon hiking trail included. And we enjoyed watching the horseback riders from our view. The town of Wimberly is fun and close! Our host recommended Whiskey Ridge dining in Driftwood and it was a perfect birthday celebration! This place is a five star rating for me, for being an authentic English Cottage rental with a scenic setting and was pet friendly too!

Jennifer and Gregory have done an outstanding job furnishing this cozy retreat. Very unique and quiet. Close to so many great things to do. We had a great time and a wonderful place to stay. Highly recommend!

Spent a wonderful weekend at the Cozy Cabin to unwind, relax, and enjoy the calm away from the busy city. The Cozy Cabin was tucked nicely on this property. It was very private and comfortable! The amenities, especially the barn with all the games was awesome! We will def book again.

Had a wonderful time here I would totally recommend, Debbie was a great host, I would enjoy coming back maybe during the summer.

I’ve been searching for the perfect “peaceful getaway” for years and this place has won my heart! It was everything I had hoped for and more! Kate was so kind and accommodating! She welcomed my reservation at 7pm after I’d been terribly disappointed with the original Airbnb I reserved. So many rental owners fool you with photo angles and withheld details but the Happy House was even better than its online presence. My dog and I will definitely be back again and again!
