Ski-in/Ski-out holiday rentals in Cook County

This is our second time staying at one of Shayla’s places at this resort. Great location, spacious, well appointed and met our needs for central hub traveling up and down the shore. Lovely deck, too. Our kid loves the indoor & outdoor pools! Shayla is very responsive.

We had a great long weekend here. We had 11 people so the 3 levels of sleeping was perfect. Plenty of room for dining, games and hanging out. The kitchen was fully stocked. The Ski in and ski out and ski lockers are very convenient. Everything was as described. Highly recommend. Peter was very available to help or answer questions.

We have stayed here several times. Great ski in ski out unit. We will be back next year.

We loved our holiday skiing stay! We had two families, nine people - 4 adults and 5 young adults. The ski in/ out access was great and there was plenty of space for all of us to hang out in the great room. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and we cooked all our meals in! There is only seating for 7 at the table, but we moved a couple counter stools to the table so we could all sit there. We had some issues with the heat in the upstairs bedroom (too hot) but Shayla was responsive and helped us trouble shoot. We would stay here again!

Great communication throughout. House was clean and comfortable. Grilled dinners were yummy. Alpine slide was a hit! Pool was nice…air was cold🙂. Had planned on utilizing the fire pit but it rained. Thank you for a great stay. Another awesome White Family Adventure in the books! Georgene White

We loved the place and can’t wait to go back. Shayla took care of everything that we needed and made us feel extremely welcomed.

From start to finish, our stay at Lutsen ski in/ski out condo at Caribou Highlands was comfortable and convenient, with ready access to the slopes. Shayla was always responsive when we had questions and we learned from locals that she is very highly regarded - this was no surprise to us. I would most certainly return.

We just loved Cathi’s cabin! It was our first time staying at a cabin without electricity or running water and the description of the property was very accurate and allowed for us to plan appropriately. The property was well kept, clean and safe. We had such a great time!

great wilderness camp, great trail access and awesome service. out of a 5 star rating I'll give it a 10. we had a great time and it was just what we where looking for.

Honestly a great place if you’re just getting into the whole cabin in the woods wood for heat thing. Cabin was about what you would expect for a cabin the woods, cleanish, bed made, really homey feeling. Honestly perfect. We chose to do this approx 4 days before check in and the ease of getting settled in was the main selling point, fire burning when we got there, drinking water ready and cold, wood in the cabin ( good wood none the less). Cathy was a delight to deal with, as was David. Over all probably won’t come back unless it’s a timing thing, the price was a little steep for what it was. (But hey, I still paid it and had a great time)

Cute little cabin in the woods. It was a great place to stay. I stayed in Oct, even though it was 30 degrees outside the cabin stayed warm enough even when the fire went out during the night. Nice trails, would be great for skiing during the winter. Had everything you needed to feel at home. Sauna was great also. I think it is a little overpriced with no running water or electric compared to other places, but was very nice. Better than I expected.

Great ski in location for Lutsen. Tight for 6 people but we made it work. We would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at this condo! It was incredibly clean, well-maintained, and the location couldn’t have been better—ski/board in and out. Had everything you could need, including games, kitchen gadgets, and an amazing view right on the end where you can watch the Lutsen action. Would absolutely stay here again. Does sleep 4; however, the sofa bed is what it is—uncomfortable. Overall, this is a great option for its cute lodge check-in, friendly staff, cleanliness, convenience, and location.

Great spot and Shayla was so responsive when the hot tub and pools where closed for us. The place was cozy, we loved the fireplace. Easy to hop on the ski trails.

We had a wonderful stay! It was perfect for a last-minute weekend getaway. Great location with lots to do nearby and at the resort. It is only 30 mins from Grand Marais and nearby several amazing waterfall hikes.

Amazing place! Loved the fireplace and the pool/hottub. It was perfect for our very cold weekend. The host was amazing with my questions and responded within minutes.

The staff were extremely accommodating and provided excellent service (i.e. provided us an early check-in that we requested the day of). The resort is beautifully situated and the amenities were great. Will definitely come back!

Would recommend this place to anyone! Beautiful location, private corner apartment. Wonderful views from all windows! Host easy to get ahold of and gave very clear instructions for checkin and checkout!

True ski in/ski out, which was fantastic for our family. Condo was also an indoor walk to the pool area and another minute walk to the main lobby & Moguls restaurant. Would definitely stay again, kids had a blast.
