Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Cornwall

We had a great stay… Natalia was responsive and helpful every step of the way, even with a snow storm coming in… The house was clean and fully stocked with anything and everything you could need and beyond…. thank you for a wonder experience!

House was spotlessly and thoughtfully decorated. The bed was comfortable and hot tub was absolutely phenomenal. Skylights let in beautiful natural light for reading and relaxing. Michael and Enrique were proactive about reaching out beforehand with the house information and we really, really enjoyed our stay. We're not used to baseboard heating so some of the noise from the heating surprised us, but that's to be expected with any place that's not your home. Would gladly stay here again.

The previous reviews were all positive so I wasn’t surprised by how pleasant this listing was and how Dinesh goes out of his way to accommodate guests. Everything was wonderful. Both nights we enjoyed the large fireplace in the large living room, right off the large kitchen. All the spaces are large here. Plenty of room to spread out with friends or family. We were all impressed.

Rachel was incredible to work with. The house was cozy and exactly as described. We were there in the winter and it snowed and the driveway was plowed when we woke up. We ran into a situation (not related to the house) and Rachel was awesome to work with. I would highly recommend this house to rent.

Brad’s place is located near Hudson, a place where one can find anything ranging from quality food, clothes, antiques, entertainment, and worthy hikes and preserves. Some highlights from the house include, comfortable beds and bedding, fireplace, outdoor space for children and adults to enjoy, large windows, and a cozy space. The decor inside the house added to the overall feeling of warmth and comfort. Our children enjoyed the abundance of games and toys provided inside and in the garage. Lastly, if you enjoy cooking at home, the oven offers a range of options. The hosts include good quality olive oil and herbs which for us makes a big difference. They also have all clad pots and pans, another high quality item. Overall, the house is tastefully furnished and stocked. The hosts are easy going and accessible. Checkout instructions were simple and straightforward.

Milan’s place in Saugarties is really great. The home is exactly as described in the posting and I would say even better. The home is VERY spacious and comfortable. It was darn cold when we were there and the house was cozy and warm with a great gas fireplace that kept the great room comfortable. The home is in a duplex configuration but the neighbor was quiet and friendly, so no problem at all there. Also Saugarties is just so charming. Milan’s place is super quiet but an easy 5-10 minute walk to the great village with shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back for a warm weather stay and would absolutely seek out Milan’s place again.

Was in the area to visit family and this was a perfect location for me. Had just what my family needed to have a great weekend

Had a great time in Cornwall, CT. We go away every year with friends for new years, renting a different house every time. This was one of our favorites. Loved the modern yet rustic decor. Bathrooms were beautiful and heated doors throughout. Big table for our expanded crew and puzzles. And very peaceful on the river, close to Mohawk Mt., etc. Great way to ring in 2025! Thanks Elena.

The place was lovely, comfortable, and perfectly located for our visit to see a show at the Academy Music. Donna was very friendly and quick to respond. We loved being around the corner from the Florence Pie Bar and Miss Florence Diner!

This AirBnB is so thoughtfully designed and decorated. Every detail was cozy, beautiful, and felt luxurious! I definitely want to come back!

We had a fantastic stay! The place looks exactly like the photos—unique design, very clean, and cozy. It was easy to find and check in. The host was amazing—friendly and responsive. We also loved the town, great restaurants around! Definitely coming back in warmer weather!! 🍀

My family and I had a lovely stay. It was exactly what we wanted out of a weekend trip away from home. At the end of our stay, we all said that we need to come back again and have a longer stay!

This was our 2nd weeklong stay. The space is clean and bright. Heating details were clearly explained. It was quiet and peaceful but only a 7 minute drive for milk I forgot to bring for coffee. We saw a small bobcat in the front yard on our last morning. Beds were very comfortable. Hosts were friendly and responsive. I’d recommend this place to friends/family and hope to stay again.

We had an excellent time at Tameran Hall! The space is large and beautiful with many fun and unique features such as Pac-man, a warm propane stove and fun shower! Ginny was flexible. when a snow storm hit she arranged for a late checkout. She was a very responsive and wonderful host as well. We will stay with her again when in Northampton.

Fantastic little spot. Very clean and comfortable. Host was friendly and welcoming. Common area had cozy fire place heater. Kitchen is ready to be cooked in. Add a hot tub outside and I’d give this place 6 stars.

I recently stayed at this mid-century oasis in the Hudson Valley on a family getaway from New York City. One of the highlights was the impeccable design—stunning architecture paired with thoughtfully curated interiors and furnishings by the owners truly set the tone. We felt like we were at a luxury spa (especially with the soaking tub and hot tub). The property is beautifully designed, impeccably maintained, and easily accessible by car or train + Uber (15-20 min ride from Beacon and 10–15 min from New Hamburg stop). The rooms are exceptionally comfortable, with plenty of extra sheets, towels, and amenities. The surrounding area is absolutely magnificent—lush wooded forests and a snowy landscape that made the hot tub experience truly unforgettable. The hosts were incredibly responsive, providing great local suggestions and even recommending a private chef who delivered a spectacular dinner. I highly recommend this property for a relaxing and memorable escape.

The house was lovely and very clean and Piotr was an excellent host and even met us at check in to show us around. There are 4 bedrooms and each bedroom has its own bathroom which was very convenient for us. The kitchen was well stocked and It was very comfortable stay for my family of 7 adults and two babies and two dogs. One bedroom is on the main floor and two bedrooms are on the walkout lower level and one bedroom is on the upper floor. To get to the upper floor there is a steep winding staircase that wasn’t an issue for us, but I would not recommended it for small children or toddlers. The outdoor hot tub was a nice addition.

We had a wonderful Hudson Valley stay at this property. Our grand-daughters loved sleeping together in the bedroom with two double beds; and my wife and I, plus our two daughters and their husbands enjoyed good nights of sleep in the three bedrooms containing a double or queen bed. The kitchen was well equipped; and the huge living room with large dining table was perfect for the children to play, the adults to relax, and all of us to eat. The artwork in the house gave it character, the views of the Hudson River were a treat, and the location was great for visits to Storm King Art Center and Legoland NY. The email which I brought along from AirBnB had the correct street, but the wrong numerical address; however, AirBnB promptly helped us find the correct address and helped us get into the house. Of all the houses which we have rented for family weekends, this was absolute the best one.

My daughters and I really enjoyed our stay at Jacks place. The house is beautiful, and the surrounding private property is stunning. Nicole was very helpful whenever I had any questions.

Was excited to find that the pictures were exactly what we experienced. It is a beautiful home that is clean, spacious and easy to get to. Upon check-in, we had a small issue, but after contacting the host Sourove, he handled it immediately and was resolved within one hour. He was Super responsive and timely overall. Marking this as a home that I will absolutely return to!!

This home is great for a family or two. Wonderful items in the large yard for children to play in, on and zip along. The side screened in porch is great for morning coffee or evening hangout. A chilly night, the gas fireplace is easy to work and adds a level of warmth to the great sitting area.

We celebrated thanksgiving with our entire family. So cozy and well equipped. Beds were comfortable. The house was spectacular! Amazing views! So much privacy. The owner, Jean was very accommodating and went out of her way to make sure we had everything. The caretaker Kat was just the same

We had a great time at the airbnb. The house is beautiful, well furnished, and comfortable. The location is great - easy drive from NYC to get out into nature and take a break from the city. Robin was a fantastic host - very communicative and responsive, provided plenty of guidance on what to do in the area. Hope to be able to come again soon.
