White House

NinaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We were very satisfied, the accommodation (house) was extremely clean and well maintained and the gated community quiet; the house was very easy to find, parking right in front of the entrance. Ivan was very friendly gave us a good recommendation for beaches and explained technology in the house immediately. We would come back.

Casa Bonita: great sea views and private pool

RobinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We enjoyed the house, the pool, the bbq and the beautiful view. The location of the house is ideal to explore the island with both the north and the south only 30 minutes drive away. The "insider tips" (among others Playa Quemada and the nearby Teleclub) made it complete. Hope to come again for kitesurfing at Famara.

Splendid villa with stunning views

CarlottaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We had an incredible stay at this amazing villa in Lajares, the best villa we have ever seen in Fuerteventura. The property is stunning, with spacious, beautifully designed rooms and all the amenities you could wish for. The outdoor area is a dream – we loved relaxing by the pool and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The location is perfect, offering a quiet escape while still being close to great local restaurants, shops, and the beautiful beaches nearby. Sandra was exceptional – very welcoming, responsive, and attentive to every detail, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We truly felt at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious holiday in Lajares. We can’t wait to return!

Villa Sarantontón

LaurenRating, 5 stars5 months ago
It is a fantastic house for a family holiday. The home was spacious so didn't feel like on top if each other. The home was clean and tidy and was regularly cleaner during the week. The home was furnished well with two large television that you could watch English television. The home is 20-30 minute walk to the centre and front with plenty of bars and restaurants. We felt very dafe walking into town but can catch a Taxis are very cheap so if don't feel like walking would only be about 5 euros (would suggest this if you go to the supermarket) The check in and check out was easy, communication was great with everyone. We would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. Playa Blanca is

Your guide to Costa Teguise

Welcome to Costa Teguise

Located on the east coast of Lanzarote, this compact resort has become a haven for windsurfers. The vast sweep of the Playa de las Cucharas provides excellent conditions for the sport all year round, while a number of more sheltered beaches offer respite from the strong breezes. Built in the 1970s, Costa Teguise bears the imprint of a famous local artist in its pretty Pueblo Marinero, the plaza he built to resemble a typical Canarian fishing village, where a market is held every Friday evening.

In fact, one of the town’s greatest virtues is its proximity to the artist’s other fascinating creations, like his caverns of Jameos del Agua and his Jardín de Cactus gardens, both reachable within a 20-minute drive. The pretty Lanzarote villages of Arrieta and Haría are not much further away, and closer attractions include the island’s waterpark, golf course, and the Royal Residence of La Mareta, at the end of the seafront promenade, which is where the Spanish royal family stay when they’re in town.

The best time to stay in a holiday rental in Costa Teguise

In contrast to much of Lanzarote and the Canary Islands as a whole, this region on the northeastern coast does experience a slightly cooler climate, particularly during the winter months. Still, Costa Teguise enjoys more than 300 sunny days a year, and there’s plenty of warmth from spring to autumn. March is a particularly fun time to be in Lanzarote as it’s when the island takes part in the Canaries’ vast Carnival celebrations, with music, dancing, and parades in every town, including Costa Teguise. Temperatures are good for sunbathing from June to November, and in August the sea breezes that make the area so popular for water sports can be especially welcome.

Top things to do in Costa Teguise

César Manrique Foundation

This sensational dwelling place, which the artist constructed around five interconnected lava bubbles in the island’s volcanic rock, was Manrique’s home for 20 years. Known as Taro de Tahíche, it is a perfect encapsulation of his architectural style and home to many more of his works, alongside his own private collection of contemporary art.

Cueva de Los Verdes

Another local artist turned these lava tunnels into an artwork in their own right during the 1960s. Formed during an eruption of the La Corona volcano four millennia ago, the vast caverns once provided shelter for Spanish settlers from pirates and invaders; today they’re an auditorium, their acoustics creating an atmospheric setting for concerts.

Teguise

The historic capital of Lanzarote, a 15-minute drive inland, was the island’s first settlement. Its 15th-century castle — now a museum dedicated to piracy — still perches atop of the Guanapay Volcano, and the old streets and medieval churches come back to life during the Sunday morning market.
