We had a fantastic two-night stay in this idyllic location. I would highly recommend it to anyone. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

This country cottage is beautiful, comfy and cozy. Upon driving in the first time, you may wonder where you are going as you are on a cow path leading to this cute little cottage. You may pass cows in the pasture or chickens running around; definitely a working farm. Donagh was very responsive to any questions or needs. Our stay was in December, and he brought us an electric heater until the comfy heat came up through the floor. We were also greeted with some thoughtful little treats. The town of Askeaton is small with a grocery store and gas station. You will definitely need a car to sightsee or go out to a restaurant. We traveled about two hours each day to get to sigths we wanted to see. If you are looking for a glimpse at farmlife in a very comfy, cute cottage, you will enjoy Donagh's rental. Thank you, Donagh, for four comfortable and enjoyable days.

The cottage was absolutely lovely and extremely well furnished with anything you might want. The morning views as the tide was high was gorgeous. The beds were extremely firm and I would have preferred more pillows. The only downside was the water pressure wasn’t very strong - but in an idyllic cottage that’s minor.

Greg and Annie's place is super nice and quiet. The cotage has a very cozy flair. For our 1 year old daughter, the extensive grounds with child-loving dog and trustworthy chickens were a dream. Greg and Annie is amazing. They are helpful, hospitable, warm and accommodating. We enjoyed the time very much and would highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone.

We stayed in the downstairs apartment of Carola's place and it was fabulous. The rooms were spotless and had everything you could need. The house was laid out really well with lovely seating areas inside and out and it is located in a beautiful setting not far from the beach and the lovely village of Kinvara. Carola was a great host, providing very clear instructions on everything in the house and facilitating a late check out during the low season.We loved our stay in Carola's place.

Absolutely beautiful surroundings. Easy walk to the Cliffs of Moher. Cathy was very responsive and helpful with instructions. Beautiful personalized touches in the house. Highly recommend this stay!

Eimhin and Jonny’s place was incredible. While I only stayed one night, I felt right at home. The breakfast was complete with parfaits, toast, coffee, juice, cereal, and a cheese, quiche, and scone plate prepared for each guest. What a thoughtful addition! The recommendations and instructions were helpful and thorough, and Jonny even gave me a lift to the bus stop so I didn’t have to lug my bags. I honestly wished I could have stayed longer. If you’re looking to stay near the cliffs, look no further - this place was an absolute dream.

This place was awesome to stay at! Quiet and small remote place next to a farm with a beautiful view. Bedrooms were very comfortable and a very delicious pub only a few minutes away by car. Highly recommend.

The perfect place to stay when exploring Doolin and surroundings. Super clean, spacious and bright. Comfortable bed and well stocked kitchen. Feeling so relaxed after our stay!

We had a relaxing Christmas week break at Declan’s, from the moment we arrived we felt so comfortable. It was a home from home and the countryside scenery view is beautifully serene. We arrived in a thick fog and the sat nav took us straight to the front door with no problems finding the property as is it set is a rural part of the countryside. However, you can be in Ennistymon town within 5 mins in a car or Lahinch beach in 15 mins approx. The furniture and decor is nice, clean and modern in all rooms and there are some games boxes and books left to use. There is a cooker and microwave and the majority of crockery and utensils to use. We had a lovely family Christmas dinner here. The heating and hot water is superb. Declan gave clear instructions regarding location and heating. We will definitely keep this property in mind if we need again in future.

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying in Frank and Martina’s farm house. Walking around the area was breathtaking, especially walking by the lake. The cows across the road just made the stay even more cozy and quaint. We had a great stay!

Our stay at Purthill Cottage was truly magical. This authentic and unique Irish retreat blends history with comfort, offering a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The accommodations exceeded our expectations—immaculately clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. Our host, Nicola, made us feel so welcome, leaving homemade brown bread, fresh eggs, tea, butter, and milk, along with beautiful fresh March Lily arrangements that added a special touch. The location was perfect, providing a peaceful setting just minutes from Adare’s charming village and historical sites. The rich history of the cottage made our stay even more special, offering an unforgettable glimpse into Ireland’s past. If you’re looking for a unique and unforgettable stay, this is the place. We can’t recommend it enough and would return in a heartbeat!

Lovely house in a great location!

We felt right at home in this lovely place with lots of extra details that made our stay easy and comfortable. We were able to stream shows and send emails just fine with the WiFi, the place was cozy and warm, and the views are wonderful! Highly recommend!

My husband and I booked this stay last minute and it turned out to be our favorite of our two weeks trek all over Ireland. Tim and his family are super nice and friendly. We had all the amenities we needed to cook on our own and enjoy a few leisurely days in the country. Amazingly, the patio at the back of the house opens on to one of the farm pastures so we had cows for company one evening. So thankful that we got to share the farm with Tim and his family. Five stars and cannot wait to come back!

It was so good to be in this cottage! Out by itself in a quiet place it was very relaxing. So close and easy to get to the cliffs of mohar and the ferry for the Aran islands! Thank you so much for hosting us!

We loved Marie's place. Just read the description, it's exactly as she describes it. Moreover, the warm welcome and conversation with Marie and Tom made us feel right at home. Our kids (9 and 12) loved the farm and enjoyed playing with Joey, Cathy and we were also lucky enough to be around to meet some very young calfs. Highly recommend this cozy place in the heart of the Irish countryside.

Very enjoyable short stay here on Inis Mor for 4 nights, what an adventure! House had all amenities, and very comfortable and clean. We couldn't fault it! Bernie had left very clear instructions on how to check in and check out which made everything so easy. She also gave us plenty of recommendations of things to do on the island to keep us busy. Would love to come back again some day soon!

Very nice house for a large group. The hot tub was fantastic and a huge hit with the kids.

Helen was lovely from start to finish. He gave us all the information we need. The house had everything. Exceptional cleanliness. We would definitely come back.
