Cozy 1850s Windmill with City and River Sunset Views

Climb the curving staircase in a historic windmill to admire sunsets from a vantage point like no other. The interior has been updated to provide modern comforts, but there are plenty of quirky original details to make this a unique romantic getaway. Enjoy a delicious breakfast from a tree house with views to the city and river (optional — €20 for 2 people). For little ones', or the grown-ups', fun we do have an small swimming pool during spring and summer. Here you'll find a great getaway from the city buzz, but only 10min away by walking to the ferry that takes you to Lisbon. 5 min walking distance to the Fluvial station of Porto Brandão from which a 10min boat trip will take you directly to Belém. The Windmill was totally refurbished but kept the original feel, with practically no alterations to the original structure preserving all stones, windows and iron pieces as initially found when the property was purchased. This accommodation offers the unique experience of sleeping on a building with more than 150 years of history, originally used for grinding flour to be sent to feed the inhabitants of Lisboa. In the kitchen on the ground floor you’ll find 5 millstones that will bring you closer to this past time. This cozy Windmill is equipped with a very comfortable bed for well-rested nights and a lounge area that provides a great spot to chill at sunset, enjoy a glass of wine or even to have a meal, but that can also accommodate 2 additional people on a double mattress. Adding to the character and comfort found in this Windmill you'll find stunning views from here. You’ll be able to see several sights along the river such as the 25 de Abril bridge, MAAT, Museu da Electricidade, Padrão dos Descobrimentos, Mosteiro dos Jerónimos and as far as the Sintra’s Palácio da Pena goes. Depending on the time of the year you will also be presented with blossoming trees, be able to pick fruits directly from them, or even enjoy a meal on top of an olive tree treehouse. Ideal for slow-paced tourism, nature lovers, romantic escapes, or family trips this accommodation offers plenty of opportunities due to its characteristics, vicinity to cosmopolitan Lisboa and a bunch of interesting sites. Don’t miss: - Beaches - 8Km -> Beginning of the longest continuous beach in the country, with an extension of approximately 30Km - Serra da Arrábida – 32Km - Sintra – 37Km - Cascais – 39Km - Mafra – 52Km - Óbidos – 96Km Please note the following: - Kitchen equipped with coffee machine, toaster, electric kettle, small electric stove and fridge. - Windmill with 3 floors. Stairs may not be suitable for kids under 6. Bikes can be arranged upon request for an extra fee of 10eur (whole day). Inflatable Kayak 3p - 40€ (whole day) Kitesurf equipment -150€ (whole day) I really like to receive my guests personally and share my favorite places in Lisboa and on the surroundings. The windmill is on the south bank of the Tejo River, just across from Belém. It's in the quiet of the countryside, and is just 10 minutes from Lisbon by ferry boat and many beaches by car. 5 min walking distance to the Fluvial station of Porto Brandão from which a 10min boat trip will take you directly to Lisbon (Belém). From Belém to city center there are plenty trains (10min). Please check the time schedule for the ferrys at Transtejo website. Connection between Belem and Porto Brandão. A taxi/uber drive from Lisbon city center to the windmill usually it's about 20eur.

DAZZLING LOFT WITH TERRACE IN TRENDY CHIADO

This dazzling loft with roof top terrace is definitely the place to be, the place to stay for its privileged location. On the 3rd floor, with no elevator, the presence of beams in the sitting area add charm but can be inconvenient for very tall persons! A bright open space with air conditioning, dining, sitting, sleeping areas, ensuite dressing room, full bathroom and kitchenette. Sleeps 2 guests. Just picture yourself chilling out on the terrace while sipping a delicious local cocktail...

Luxurious and spacious apartment with two bedrooms (each with a private bathroom) and an amazing garden with a private heated and salted water swimming pool, belonging exclusively to the apartment. Located in a historic and charming building, totally refurbished in 2018. With a great location, between the viewpoint of Portas do Sol (Alfama) and Graça viewpoint, 2 minutes walk from the famous tram 28 and 5 minutes walk from the Castle. Great to discover the historic center.

Beach house located on the cliffs of the charming village Azenhas do Mar. In the morning, the birds sing happily, toasting another day.
