Holiday rentals with a patio in Cowichan Valley

What a beautiful place! Just like the photos (maybe even better), the location is incredible. Lots of restaurants right there. Well-appointed kitchen. The only challenge is parking, but worked out just fine. Absolutely will book again!

Kirsten is such a good host! Her and her husband went above and beyond to make sure that my husband felt right at home. Location was very accessible, it worked out for what we needed. Carpet. Not something I am used to these days. It was lovely on the toes! Great location, nice view, and super helpful hosts

This suite was clean and tidy. The kitchen was well stocked and had the amenities we needed, like a toaster and coffee pot. Even though we didn't use it on this stay, we appreciated that there was a washer and dryer in the suite. We liked the tasteful furniture and decor choices. There was lots of street parking available, which was convenient. We had a nice, comfortable stay.

I have stayed in AirBnBs all over the world, and this was the best-equipped, most “perfect” apartment I’ve had the pleasure to enjoy. Everything was beautiful and new, with a terrific home manual. We were extremely comfortable, and the hosts were great at communicating. The kitchen was spacious and extraordinarily well provisioned. The bathroom even had a towel warmer! :)

My mom lives on the island, but since her house was full of visiting family, we got a place to stay at night. We enjoyed the quiet complex, beautiful views and today accommodations. We didn’t need to eat more than breakfast there, but the kitchen was well-stocked with everything you would need (lots of pots, utensils, oils etc as well as things like coffee pot, teapot etc). They also have some lovely books and games. We wish we had more time there. Very relaxing!

Karen/Michele's place was lovely! The bed is super comfy, and the full kitchen was super convenient. My favorite part of this stay was the location! How lovely to wake up to the ocean view right outside the sliding glass doors - and to walk on one of the most beautiful roads on the island! Highly recommend and hope to stay again. I really enjoyed our stay here at Kevin & Lilys place 😊 location was perfect for what we needed. The place was nice and spacious, and very clean too. We did have trouble with entering the code into the door but luckily our hosts provide a key that’s inside, we used that instead because the code was a bit tricky. Very happy with our stay and would highly recommend! Thanks for having us Kevin & Lily.

We needed a place to stay in Vic West near family for Christmas with our dog and Douglas’s place was the perfect home away from home for us. A top reason for our stay here was the walkability, fenced in yard for our dog, the big school field across the street, and near lots of walkable trails and cute neighborhood. As for the house, his home was very cozy and unique, filled with antiques and vintage decor, great leather couches, with a comfortable layout, big living room and kitchen, 2(!) bathrooms and a great selection of VHS tapes that we enjoyed. My partner was very excited about the extensive selection of old skate videos. Beautiful updated bathroom with a great shower was appreciated as well. Highly recommend this place if you need a private and comfortable home that’s pet friendly. Also Douglas you are a very cool guy and a great host! Thank you!

The place was nice and cozy, spacious, comfortable, and well equipped w/ all the amenities. It is in a convenient location, close to town and stores, 15 minutes to downtown, 1/2 hr to the airport and Butchart garden. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Dustin was very responsive every time we communicated with him. I would totally stay here again.

Beautiful home in a gorgeous location! Christina’s house is a very short walk from an incredible beach and is a short drive to tons of local amenities. The house was super clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. This home was especially child-friendly and I appreciated Christina’s flexibility and accommodations to ensure we had a great stay. Thank you! This is such a lovely place to stay and I’d highly recommend it to other folks traveling to the area!

This cottage was such a find! A rare gem on Vancouver Island! Such incredible attention to detail with lots of fun extras! We loved how private we felt and how quiet it is there! We were thrilled with the hot tub, the pool table and the home theatre as well as so many other thoughtful touches including a bottle of BC wine! We would highly recommend this beautiful home and will definitely stay again! Thank you Denis & Cathy for being such wonderful hosts!!

I stayed here with my family and my brother and his family during the holidays. We have kids and the area was just perfect- walkable, a nearby athletic field, close to restaurants and a straight shot into the city. The place was big enough we all had our own space and perfect enough to accommodate us all eating together, watching movies, and playing board games. I would definitely stay here again.

My family spent a few days over NYE in Liisas home and it was perfect. I've visited Port Renfrew a handful of times and the location is wonderful and view is what makes the home magical. Do make note that this is a duplex/townhouse, and Liisas is the main floor unit so there could be noise from the unit upstairs. We cooked via BBQ and it worked well for us We unfortunately did not have a working firetable which limited our time outside in the evening. The home is well stocked with coffee, teas, some spices and extra toiletries if needed. It even has flashlights if you wanted to venture outdoors at night. Thank you Liisa for opening up your home. We hope to be back one day!!!

Great place to live in Victoria. Near to downtown, near to all the attractions if you have a car. The apartment was really clean and amazing. I recommend this place to everyone. Beni was amazing host and she guided me through the places where I can visit.

This is a great location for driving over to interesting attractions on Vancouver Island. The inside and outside accommodations in the 201 were very comfortable! The beds we slept in provided restful sleep. When you tire of eating out at the many fine restaurants, you can pick up food to cook and eat from a nearby grocery stores or at a bakery in the nearby bakery in Sidney. The 201 has all the kitchen appliance’s you’ll need. The outside view on top of the roof can be spectacular in the early mornings. We parked a second car overnight on Mt Newton Cross Road half way between Wallace Dr and E Saanich Rd. No problem as long as it gets moved around and does sit in the same spot for 3 days straight. Patterson Rd is another location.

Me (50s), Mom (80s), and Auntie (70s) stayed at Denise's place for 4 days at the end of January. It was PERFECT! The unit is beautiful, clean, quiet, comfortable beds and sofas, PLENTY of storage with flat surfaces & baskets to put things, enough plugs, extra towels and blankets, a cook's kitchen, easy access to parking and our car. The location is peaceful and pretty, awesome pool & hot tub with a VIEW, nice grounds with rabbits & eagles, and a quick drive to parks/trails. The few people we ran into were very kind and friendly. Denise was super responsive and helpful. We HIGHLY recommend!
