Cottage holiday rentals in Crewkerne

I've never slept so well in a holiday home! The house, garden and hot tub were all well kept and clean, and we had everything we needed and more (suggestions on where to go/eat). The shower had great pressure, the underfloor heating was a real treat, and just a really lovely place and setting. Very private too. Would definitely recommend this lovely cottage to friends!

We wished we could have stayed longer. Lovely cottage and pretty country location. The garden was ideal for a dog as it was safely fenced around. My dog was incredibly happy sniffing around the area when we were outside sitting at the garden table. We didn't have time to use the Jacuzzi although it looked very inviting. Would recommend to other dog owners or walkers alike!

The Potting Shed is the perfect place to stay. The accommodation is well laid out and tucked away. Sam and Karen are friendly hosts but respect your privacy. We enjoyed sitting in the orchard area and were lucky with the weather. We walked to The Leather and Lace pub (10 min walk through the village), where we enjoyed a delicious burger. The pub is so interesting, full of retro accessories. The beer was well kept too. We enjoyed walking in the local area, visiting Glastonbury and walking further afield. Fantastic place to stay! Our family loved every second and was even more wonderful than what we were expecting especially as this was booked for a surprise birthday weekend away. Hosts were friendly and kept us up to date if they need to. Instructions, and helpful guides were given. Can’t recommend this place and hosts enough. Thank you for a fabulous stay! Roberts Family

Great location, only a short drive away from pubs and restaurants. Very peaceful surrounding. Amy was friendly and helpful. The place itself is decorated beautifully with all the amenities you would need.

A beautiful cottage, bath with a view and lovely hot tub in private garden. Provides everything you need for a relaxing weekend away. Beautiful location, so peaceful. The barn with pool table and gym was a great addition. Responsive host too, a really lovely welcome when we arrived.

We had a wonderful stay at The Nest. A beautiful home, super clean with lovely surroundings. We got a bit lost on arrival (even though our friends made it there with no issue!) and Sarah came out in her car to find us - what a lovely host! Sarah’s thoughtful additions to the property of stair gates, toys and even children’s cutlery made two families travelling with small children that much easier and we are so grateful! Thank you so much, we will be back again!

Lovely place to stay, brilliant location and exactly as described. Charlotte was great at communicating before our stay and we found the place very easily!

We had a lovely Easter Weekend, with the house ticking all the boxes! It is fully equipped with everything you need and the best distance we’ve ever had to the local pub!! It was about a 25 minute drive to Lyme Regis and a great location for exploring the area! Alison’s communication was extremely quick throughout our stay and the check in was really clear and simple. Would definitely recommend a stay here ☺️

We loved this cottage. It was close to the centre but it’s position made it feel tucked away from the main village. We loved the views and the feeling of spaciousness that looking down across the village gave us. We loved the cosy living room and the log burning effect gas fire was very realistic. The larder was very convenient for extra storage as we cooked every evening we stayed. We hope to come and stay again.

We had a nice relaxing break. It was a lovely cottage with beautiful surroundings. Sally was available for us when we needed anything. The directions she gave made it very easy to find. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

This cottage was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Kristina's directions were easy to follow, including any information within the cottage. The peaceful setting made for a relaxing break.

Julie's place was a fantastic place to stay during our time in Portland. The place was spotless, smelt nice and had all the amenities and items you might need for your stay. Locally, the walks are absolutely breathtaking! Some of the best views I have seen anywhere! There are a few food shops and takeaways locally, all fairly priced and good food. We will definitely return!

Really beautiful cottage. The pictures dont do it justice and the location is stunning with plenty to do in the local and surrounding area. There were 4 adults and one child in our group and the cottage was spacious enough for us all. The facilities were excellent and Debra had thought of everything we could possibly need. Extremely comfortable bed and wonderful fresh linen too! The 10-15min walk to the beach and seafront pub was wonderful and we climbed the Golden Cap from the cottage on a sunny clear day. Thanks for having us!!

We had such a great time at Caroline’s cottage, the location is stunning and the cottage felt immediately like home. Caroline has thought of everything and it’s the little touches which really made our stay, fresh local milk in the fridge, lovely soaps, shower gels etc. Extra rugs and a spare lead for our dog, and even a bat detector which our son really enjoyed. Overall a fab experience, we’ll definitely be coming back

We loved our stay at Susan’s house. The house is so cosy and spacious. The garden was huge and perfect for an Easter egg hunt! We stayed with four adults and two young children and there was plenty of space. The sunroom was lovely for relaxing and for the children to play, and the garden was amazing. Susan was also very kind and communicative.

Really lovely place to stay. Very friendly and welcoming. Well setup in cabin and good selection of dvds for wet weather. 4G was fine for us.

We loved our stay! Beautiful cottage that was superbly clean, lovely location with plenty to do nearby (within 20mins or so drive, plus greatwalks and pubs on the doorstep). We bumped into the hosts a couple of times and they were really friendly. Normally as a family we like to stay in diffeent properties when we head away but we are already exploring dates to return here in the Summer.

One of the best places I've ever stayed. The host laid out age appropriate toys just for my baby girl, the nursery was stunning and all the beautiful vintage toys made it feel magical. The whole property's aesthetic was carefully curated with beautiful furniture, decor and collectables, but also made you feel right at home from the first step inside. The garden was maintained to an impeccable standard and had gorgeous play equipment including the little cottage shed with playhouse set up. Listening to the birds on the morning as light poured into the living room felt heavenly. The host was very friendly and attentive throughout the whole visit, super host status very well deserved. We hope to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking to get away into the countryside.

Very comfortable stay and both quiet and peaceful. Well equipped, everything worked, a fabulous wood burner (plus electric radiators) along with an ensuite for each bedroom ensured a happy long weekend. Parking for two cars very helpful indeed. My second visit in two years.

Really lovely place with stunning scenery. Very well appointed with all amenities. Loved seeing Deer outside our bedroom window. Great to have dogs so well catered for. Highly recommend - we really enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely stay at Janet's. We went to visit family for a few days locally and booked last minute. Janet was very responsive, answered all questions and greeted us on arrival. Grandad's cottage is lovely, very well presented and was ideal for what we needed. It was great that we could take our dog. We didn't use the tennis courts or do any walking as we were very busy. The location is great and the parking is secure and spacious. Highly recommend Janet's place.
