Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Cullowhee

Great in the trees home. It was a great last minute find that made our mountain trip lovely. Very good location for hiking and boating along Lake Glenville.

This is a fantastic place! There were eight of us, four adults and four kids, and we had plenty of space. The house is clean and comfortable with soft linens, plenty of oversized towels, and has a fully stocked kitchen. The hot tub has exquisite views of the mountains, and there are several waterfalls that we were able visit just a few miles away. Robin is extremely attentive; she answered my questions very promptly and also provided some suggestions on things to do and places to go. Robin’s home is an amazing find and was a great place to spend a week celebrating the holidays and a few family birthdays!

Rita’s place was the perfect mountain getaway. Very peaceful spot with a great view. Rita was super responsive to our messages and a great host. Our kids loved the little trails around the property, the board games stocked in the living room and the fire pit was nice to enjoy in the evening. The screened front porch was nice to enjoy breakfast and coffee on while enjoying the views as well. The dirt road was a little messy due to a lot of rain but luckily it didn’t hinder us getting to and from the house. I would recommend Rita’s to anyone looking for quiet little getaway.

Very clean and quiet home. Our stay was great we had beautiful views. Sadly we didnt spend alot of time in the home as we were visiting family. Great vacation home if you just want to relax and get away.

My family of four really enjoyed staying at Todd's. There was plenty of space inside and nature surrounding the house, and it was close enough to the things we wanted to explore in Highlands as well as Cashiers.

We loved our stay here. The house is impeccable, the garden is so beautiful. The beds are really comfy and spacious. You have everything you need in the kitchen. The drive to Asheville is short and the environment is gorgeous.

This is a great stay, we were visiting to ski at Cataloochee and it’s about a 10 minute drive. When we first arrived there were elk right outside the kitchen window. I enjoyed watching the sunrise and having coffee on the front porch. The house was very clean and spacious.

This was such a lovely stay! We booked Jason’s place for Christmas and it was the perfect spot for our family. Loved the woodsy surroundings, two indoor fireplaces and outdoor patio fireplace, and comfy bedrooms. Easy drive into Highlands or Cashiers and lots of beautiful hikes nearby. Jason was responsive and friendly and went above and beyond, including setting up Christmas decorations for our stay. The kitchen was incredibly well appointed - the cooks in our family were delighted! Definitely hope to be back.

I have stayed in over 100 Air BnBs over the last few years for work, this is hands down the best place I have ever stayed. Beautiful place, breath taking views, and Mr. Don is one of the nicest, most interesting men I've ever had the privilege to meet. 11/10 recommend

The home was nice, no complaints, would stay again. But the stars here are the hosts. I was here for Hurricane Helene. The storm damage was honestly minimal compared to what I would later see in some of the harder hit areas, but I was blocked in by a small mudslide for just a day or so. The hosts happened to be out on vacation, but even through the cellular disruptions, they managed to maintain constant contact and coordinated assistance from neighbors. They took care of me like family.

This is a nice place to stay! very updated kitchen and living space. Also, very clean! we will come back again when we're around next time !

Second time we have stayed in this unit and it’s still our fave in Gatlinburg. It is right off the main road, but is far enough to one end of the strip that it is not especially loud compared to other places we stayed. Everything is very clean and it feels new. We loved how easily the fireplace turned on, we found absolutely everything we needed in the kitchen (including enough coffee pods to get us through the next morning – thank you!), And it was a very nice touch to have a decorated Christmas tree. :-)

Barbara was super sweet. She was flexible with our late arrival time, made sure the heat and lights were on for us, even offered to grab something for us while she was out at the store so we wouldn't need to make an extra stop. She let us have our space, but was available if we needed anything. Her space is so cute, and her property was very peaceful! We don't make it out of town often, so when we do, we like to get out and explore, and we did so many hiking trails while we were visiting - it was so nice to have a comfortable and inviting space to come back to for our base camp after some long days.

The location of this apartment is perfect! We walked anywhere we wanted to go in Highlands. The place is spacious, the kitchen has anything you could need, and the custom closet made unpacking and staying organized a breeze! We would definitely stay here again.

Evelyn went above and beyond to make us feel like we were at a home away from home! She was flexible as we were arriving late, and checked in with us to make sure everything was going well! Every recommendation she gave was great! We love to explore the small local towns, and this was just great! We can’t wait to come back and visit again in a few months! This will be our forever mountain escape ❤️ bonus: my son loved all of the goodies Evelyn gave him & my husband got stuck in the mud, and they came out with their tractor to get us out!! A million percent recommend and can’t wait to go back!

Great stay great host beautiful location.

I work remote and rented Damien's home for a month to disconnect and get away from big city life for a little, and it was the best decision I've ever made. This airbnb was perfect for me and my pup. It has a creek and hiking trail on the massive property which makes for extremely pleasant dog walks. I never had an issue with the Starlink wifi (and I had a lot of devices connected and take zoom meetings all day) while the home is super private and secluded, the town of Franklin with everything you need is less than 10mins away. No complaints about this house or homeowner, one of my favorite Airbnb stays ever and I will definitely be returning in the future. 10/10 would recommend!

Me and my girlfriend stayed for a few days for a comedy show in Asheville! The house was clean, and easy to access. And the hot tub made for a great way to end the days!

This place is a great stay for anyone looking for a place centrally located in the Cashiers/Sapphire area. Easy and scenic walk around lake Fairfield. Great Mountain View from back patio. Easy access to Sapphire National Golf Course. The place is very spacious with room to spread out for the whole family and it is equipped very well. Roland is responsive and checked in on us periodically to make sure everything was well. I highly recommend staying here!

Absolutely stunning home and view. We only left the house a couple of times to explore the property. Aurélia was extremely helpful during our stay. Thank you!

Location was great with easy walking distance to shops and restaurants.

It was good overall but it would be way better after construction would be done and I do not recommend grandparents to go because of walking on the hills, but other than that everything was amazing!! Place was clean and tidy, had hood communication with Hollie and the scenery and weather really helped us made the trip better..

Simply amazing! Besides a wonderful view, the place was super well equipped in both indoor and outdoor spaces - it’s exactly like the photos. Julie is a great host! Will definitely come back!
