Cabin holiday rentals in Cumberland County

We have stayed at several cabins in Kentucky, this was by far the easiest to find and has a good road. The cabin was great, just the right size for the wife and I plus our two dogs. It was nice to have a place we could take our dogs with us, they make it harder to travel. It was very quiet and fairly private. We have already discussed visiting again in the future.

We had a great time staying at “A Frame of Mind” to ring in the new year with very good friends. Everyone loved the place, very clean, nice surroundings, comfortable beds etc. Jeremy and co hosts were super responsive and kind. This is definitely on the list for a return visit!

This stay was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. Everything was as pictured. The only downfall was that the store and restaurant were closed (so we didn’t get the complimentary coffee/tea/hot chocolate) and there were lots of bugs, but it wasn’t that big of a deal. We brought our own food, but expect to be a ways away from a big city for essentials so pack accordingly. Andrew was very responsive and helpful, we really couldn’t have asked for anything better! We will be back in the future.

This was our second time returning to this cabin and we loved it even more the second time. The fall colors were beautiful and we loved spending time out on the porch. FYI there are dog/child gates on both sets of stairs which was very convenient. There is also a Dollar General <10 min away which is very convenient in case you forget things.

Had an amazing time with the family. Was a good start to the new year relaxing and enjoying the scenery and walking along the river. Highly recommend no wake zone and would definitely return.

Had a wonderful stay.. the only thing that was a little disappointing was the “country store” being closed for the season.. we weren’t aware of this before our stay. Other than that.. it was a nice little staycation. Thanks Christine & Steph!

Steve and Dana are wonderful hosts. We absolutely love this place and they keep it very clean and even remodeled the kitchen- which looks beautiful! They always have it clean and stocked. One of the main attractions aside of the beautiful cabin and secluded location, is Dana’s blueberry desert or breakfast dish she makes and leaves in the cabin fridge for you upon your arrival! This is our favorite cabin away from home.

Very great people, very helpful on things to do and places to go. Overall couldn’t have went to a better place.

My family had a great time. We did early Christmas and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook. Comfortable beds.

Red Oaks Retreat was the perfect spot for my girlfriends and I to catch up over the weekend. We loved the large kitchen that was well stocked to cook our meals and made good use of the game room upstairs. The attention to small details did not go unnoticed, but my favorite part was the immaculate soft yummy beds! Thank you Becky and Don. Hope to be back again next year.

The cutest little cabin close to the road but far enough to be secluded! The place is super comfy, and we felt right at home! Kitchen has all the essentials and was stocked with coffee, tea, hot cocoa and a variety of creamers. Recliner and couch was so comfortable making it difficult to getting the day going....:) The bed is always our most important feature of Airbnb's we stay in and this bed did not disappoint, it was so comfortable which made sleep easy and restful! There is a front and back porch with plenty of seating to sit and enjoy the scenery. We will definitely choose to stay here again when we come to town to see our Son, daughter-in-law and grandson that live in the area.

Very close to the river and the lake. I've stayed here twice and I'll be back. You don't keep going to the same place unless it's great!

The town of Celina is very close and there was a very good relationship between Postcard Cabins and every business that we visited. We didn't hear anyone else even though most of the cabins around us were occupied. Down to the marshmallow on the s'more, everything was provided and fully thought through. The water pressure was great and the water got really hot. We will definitely be telling our friends about this site and will be returning soon.

quiet, peaceful, beautiful views. kitchen was nice and useable, but not fancy. we weren't looking for fancy. we stopped at the grocery store before going over and then didn't leave the cabin until checkout. I recommend it!

Richard was the best host we've ever worked with, and we travel a good bit. He was very responsive and went the extra mile to make our stay pleasant! The back porch is the best! Listening to the stream was so relaxing! Its all you need!

Tyler was amazing! We had issues from torrential rains and storms and he was very responsive, which made it very easy for us to help protect his property. We would definitely stay again!

We had such a great time, she was an amazing host and was very helpful. The home was beautiful and in such a beautiful location right on the river. The host gave us lots of helpful fishing advice while there. Will 100% be booking another stay at this location soon.

we as family of 5 enjoyed our stay at this place for 4 nights. I and my family liked the balcony.. the kids sit and draw,write and read there .. it was nice. we got to hike down to the lake twice and spend time there fishing, swimming and kids found some geodes.

Super great location....literally minutes from the Dale Hollow State Park Marina. Very peaceful setting. Firepit and pond was a hit for us. The kitchen was loaded with everything we needed to make meals. Plenty of space to spread out. We had a day of rain where we couldn't go to the lake and having different smart TV's came in handy when everyone wanted to watch different movies. Thanks for a great place to stay!!!

It was everything that we wanted and more. It felt Extremely private. The creek is beautiful. The hot tub was amazing. The theater system is phenomenal in the living room. Great stay overall! Definitely would recommend for a couple just trying to get away from everyday life. One thing I will say is if you want to use the stereo system that goes to the wrap around porch then bring a dongle and aux cord bc there is no Bluetooth. And bring your own DVDs or download movies prior to arrival because you will not get any signal. I liked not having signal tho because it helped me and my wife focus more on each other❤️

Kaywin was a great host and very responsive! The cabin was amazing💕. It was very nicely furnished. The sectional was a huge hit. We had a great time relaxing and watching tv or playing games. All the extra blankets were an added bonus. The outside bed swing was a favorite for everyone ❤️. My daughter said the swing bed was more comfortable than she imagined. Many hours were spent relaxing in it . One of our favorite things in the kitchen was the cast iron cookware. No cheap cookware to do all our baking for the holiday and so much of it for any of our needs😄. Plenty of spices and necessities if we needed anything. The Keurig was a nice touch and well stocked. The property is out in the middle of nowhere with sweet neighbors. We could walk freely and enjoy the quietness of nature all around us. The outside fire pits were such a nice touch for everyone to enjoy. Kaywin has her place set up very nicely with little things to make your stay so enjoyable. We would definitely go back💕
