I had a fantastic experience at Walisons Homestay. The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the area. I loved the concept of service apartments (probably the first in Kashmir)—spacious and well-equipped. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay, always helpful and friendly. Overall, it was a memorable stay, and I can’t wait to return! Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful experience staying at the homestay with my family. Felt just like home! Bashirji and his wife was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The owners stay at ground floor and the rooms are available at first floor. Their warm hospitality truly made it feel like a home away from home. The highlight of the stay was the delicious homemade traditional kashmiri food, and made with love, Dinner felt like a family gathering. Highly recommend the stay as it is like home with incredible people however the place is bit far from airport.

It was a Great Experience at Musa's Green House. Everything was there as mentioned in the description. Musa is a Humble and Friendly Host. Always made us feel at home at his place. If someone wants to book an Airbnb with a kitchen full of all the necessary items then this place is a must to book. If I again visit Sringar, I will definitely choose this place to stay.

Nowsheen and her family made me feel right at home. Right from the point of my arrival at the airport, her husband was there waiting to receive me. I organised with him my out of town travels for sightseeing and other activities. He also dropped me off to the airport at the end of it all. I had no issues at all during the entire time that I stayed with Nowsheen's family. I took the large room with lounge, kitchenette and attached bathroom, upstairs. Apart from being a great host, Nowsheen is a great cook. She prepared and served some of the best selected dishes from their traditional Kashmiri Wazwan feast. I was fortunate to meet her two children, who are very cultured, welcoming and friendly. The early morning prayers from nearby mosques were soul enriching, something to be aware of, while in Srinagar and nearby locations, you will hear prayers from the Mosques during various set timings in the day. Overall, the best experience for me. I will definitely be back for more stays soon.

Aarsh and his family are wonderful hosts. It is a privilege to be invited to share their private space. we booked 2 rooms and had the entire third floor to ourselves. we enjoyed the balcony space and had out dinner there, with beautiful vista of the mountains. They graciously allowed us to leave our luggage with them when we had to rush off to catch a train for the day's visits. Aarsh deserves to be a superhost.

Home away from home….

Ahmer’s place was just perfect. We were 5 in our group and had a 3 bedroom apartment - all with air-conditioning and heating and attached bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and the apartment very warm and cozy. On check in, the young boys who are caretakers welcomed us and helped with the luggage. Our apartment was serviced daily with change of towels and bath mats. We were never left wanting. Mushtaq the manager assisted with taxi bookings and helpful information. Ahmer’s wife Mahek popped by on our last evening and we had a great time chatting. They really are such lovely people and made us right at home. I would recommend this apartment as your choice for a visit to Kashmir. You can’t go wrong!
