Bench 170 is a very special spot. As my nephew said on arrival, it's 10 out of 10. The house is beautiful and everything was of top quality, the proximity to the beach so great, and we've never experienced such thoughtful touches in all our combined travels. The home had everything we could anticipate, including laundry facilities, pantry items, toys for kids. It was a great combination of a gorgeous holiday home and it being a comfortable livable spot.

Beautiful space in a perfect location! Walkable to everything and fully stocked with everything you need for your stay. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone I know, and I would love to come back again!

Lyndsey's space was large, light and comfy. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The house had plenty of space and a fully-stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the beach (just at the end of the street) and walked to restaurants less than 15 minutes away. Lyndsey was very responsive and helpful. We have a great time. Thanks, again, Lyndsey.

Joule's stay was such a dream spot to celebrate my friend's bachelorette! It had a comfortable living space, full kitchen, the sleeping arrangements were great, and the hot tub was the cherry on top. Joule was highly responsive and we had everything we needed to have a fabulous stay. Thank you for ensuring there were champagne flutes, too! We can't wait to be back.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cute cabin. What a special spot! We enjoyed exploring the inlet with the canoe provided and exploring some of the local hikes. Be sure to try to the local Mexican Restaurant. We loved the seclusion and quiet this cabin provided with easy access to any groceries or other amenities we might need.

Absolutely Stunning! Stayed here over Christmas and could not have asked for a better spot! Beautiful views, very comfortable surroundings. The beds were very comfortable and more than enough lovely thick towels. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. The location was perfect! You are no more than a 5 min walk from everything! All the shops and restaurants are so close! It’s a really great place to stay, we will definitely be back

What an amazing view in a lovely town with great beach walks and hikes close by. Could not recommend this place more. Amanda is a fabulous host, full of great recommendations and made certain everything at the flat was to our liking. We will definitely be back! Did I mention the view from the flat and deck was amazing? Absolutely mesmerizing, especially on a full moon.

Bonnie’s place was great, it was clean, quiet and comfortable! The water pressure in the shower was amazing and the kitchen was very well stocked! Bonnie was friendly and communicative and ensured we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We would stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The unit was really easy to access. This space was cozy and comfortable. Everything was fresh and clean. The host was amazing and super responsive with any questions we had. Walks around the resort were lovely, pools were awesome for kiddos. Would absolutely stay here again. Randy and Barb’s home was absolutely perfect. The condo is beautifully decorated and it’s even more lovely than the photos. The view is unmatched. We watched the tide come in and out each day. The peaceful water views are a dream. We usually visit Florida each year and this year we wanted to stay in Canada. My family had a fabulous time and we can’t wait to come back. Our three year old loved the playground and the kids hot tub that had a slide! Endless fun. The resort has a delicious restaurant, a spa, trails and kayaks. Everyone was so friendly. Home away from Home, is how I would describe this. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were not only welcomed there but that we could feasibly own this place. We stayed a total of 5 nights, and were began to feel sad after the 4th night, knowing we would have to leave. Being literal steps from the ocean made for beautiful sunsets and serene mornings. The area is fairly well protected from winds as we were facing a North-West direction. The indoor pool, hot tub, gym and games room are all within a quick 3-minute walk. The indoor pool is very large with a large shallow area for the kiddo's. Indoor pool has a Dry Sauna as well. The hosts, Kimberly and John, are very communicative. There is a provided binder with local amenities and Places of Interest. We took their suggestions and had a wonderful time getting to know the area! All-in-all, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We have officially decided that we will be making Vancouver Island our yearly destination.

A lovely new condo. Very comfortable.. loved the new washer & drier in the unit. Great location… close to Parksville and Rathtrevor Provincial Park. Enjoyed the hot tub and sitting by the fire under cover outside of the lodge.

John’s place was fantastic. Easy check-in and quick to answer any questions. My wife and I really appreciated the size of the condo and all the amenities. The fireplaces, jetted tub, comfortable king bed, well equipped kitchen and beautiful patio. We took advantage of the on-site amenities including the gym, pool, outdoor hot tub, trails and restaurant. Our stay was awesome and John made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this gem of a condo in beautiful Nanoose Bay.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay!! The place was clean and tidy, and had lots of amenities. The view was awesome too!! VERY comfy furniture. 10/10 would stay here again!

Really enjoyed this place…nice and private, very quiet, well equipped, lots of space as it is the entire ground floor of their home. Lots of light through south facing windows so doesn’t feel dungeony. Will come back on future visits to the area. The hot tub is always hot any time you want to go for a dip, nice touch during a freezing week in January!

Lynette’s place is clean, well equipped, and located right by the water. The suite had everything we needed for our short getaway. It was tidy and comfortable. It was kind of amazing to be so close to the ocean and listen to the waves at night and in the morning. But also great to have a gas fireplace (and heating) to keep us warm!

Beautiful location that felt close to nature yet also walkable to amenities. The view at the table while you eat breakfast is very peaceful. There was an occupant of the lower unit with two young children running around, so be mindful that there will be some shared noises. The hot tub, view, ample space and location made this an peaceful retreat for my family without having to isolate them; you can walk a few minutes and still get a great cup of coffee.

A second great stay at Lilian's. It was spotlessly clean on arrival as always and we enjoyed the well stocked kitchen again. We even had dinner at the Pacific Moon Rising Restaurant on site this time and had a great meal. We will be back!

Very clean, spacious and inviting. Host had everything we needed for cooking along with some extras in the kitchen (spices, tea, coffee). Breathtaking view of the ocean and sunset. We will definitely be booking again! Really enjoyed our time with our family.

Michelle has created a custom retreat with plenty to enjoy. You are surrounded by elevated pieces all while feeling comfortably one with the space. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, and the tub was so nice I used it twice during our short stay. Our girls felt the magic of their sleeping quarters, using the desk, cozy reading nook and the canvas tie backs for the bed area with joy. We were well greeted and given a lovely rundown of the ins and out of the beautiful space. A special experience was had by all. Perfect for our family of four. This was our last stop on a multi-legged tour of the eastern side of the island. A haven between hikes, markets, and secondhand bookstores, I am so glad I booked last. True RnR.

Rachel was very friendly and responsive from signup to checkout; that makes such a difference to me; I appreciated the ease, clarity, and friendliness in her communication. Her location was absolutely beautiful - the view is stunning - the quiet was restorative. Rachel's guest suite is light-filled, clean, and welcoming. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was spacious; we had everything we needed. The suite and the neighborhood felt very private and safe. The location is close to the village and there are so many trails and beaches nearby. It is an ideal place for one or two people to stay and there is a lot to see and explore. We feel very fortunate to have been able to stay here and wholeheartedly recommend a stay at Rachel's while on Gabriola.
