Cabin holiday rentals in Davis

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The property was well kept and check-in was very smooth. The hosts had lots of great local recommendations and we were able to get out and explore the surrounding area. I would definitely come back with another group in the future. We had a lovely, and relaxing time!

The place was perfect for a 3 day weekend with the kids and grandparents to explore everything Canaan Valley has to offer. The creek out back was peaceful and the kids enjoyed exploring the area as well as the hot tub. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and grocery store close by for the things we did need. Rita was responsive and very helpful with any and all questions. Highly recommend.

The cabin was so lovely - even prettier than the pictures. The view from the back deck was beautiful! Beds were comfortable and cabin felt spacious. Rocky was so kind and responsive throughout!

Place was rally nice and literally directly next to the lift which was awesome. Also the hot tub was great, super spacious and perfect after a long day on slopes. Overall had a great stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

We loved our time at Merry Jo and Aaron’s cabin! The location was peaceful and secluded with amazing views of the surrounding mountains and charming attention to detail inside. All of the amenities and pristine cleanliness had us feeling at home right away. Merry Jo proactively reached out to ensure we had clear directions to the location, easy access to the property, and that we had everything we needed once there. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a place to relax with friends and/or family - hot tub was a hit, but they also had a lovely fire pit and cornhole that we would have used had the weather been a bit more cooperative. We hope to go back - an easy 5 stars!

Tashina's place was fantastic! We booked extremely last minute and she had no problem getting the place set up for us. It was in a beautiful location with great amenities - hot tub, fire pit, TV, and a river to fish in. There were only two downsides - one was the Internet actually worked better outside than it did inside (but we expected that with the remoteness of the place) and the beds could've been more comfortable. All in all, I'd stay again!

Alex and Dasha are AWESOME and so is their great place!! We had such a wonderful experience from start to finish with this reservation. We had to change our reservation last minute and they worked with us to rebook new dates, immediately. They go above and beyond with their responsiveness and attention to details in the amenities they offer. They checked in with us before and during our visit. Beautiful rustic cabin along the river! Peaceful surroundings, a bit hard to find off the road (which is a good thing) and nice amenities like hot tub and grill. Our family had a great time enjoying Elkins and the Forest Festival hanging out with close relatives and friends! thanks Tiffany!

We had a wonderful stay at the Tuckerman Retreat! It was the perfect romantic weekend getaway from the city and was just what we were looking for. Although there is really not much around the house and it is quite secluded, the privacy and natural surroundings were unmatched. The cabin felt just like home, was super cozy, and the bed + blackout curtains left us with some of the best sleep we've gotten in a long time. Jarred was a great host; he was super responsive and offered to go above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible! If you are looking for a place to unplug, feel connected to the outdoors, or just have a relaxing cozy weekend, the Tuckerman Retreat is a great choice. We will definitely be coming back!

My wife and I needed a trip away from the city for the long holiday weekend where we could enjoy some good activity in peaceful surroundings with our dog. This cozy pedestal cabin in Black Bear Resort was just what we were looking for. Check in was easy by picking up the keys at the resort lodge. The place had everything we needed to a cook a couple nights for ourselves, including the gas grill on the deck. The wall-mounted 4K flatscreen TV with Roku let us relax after three active days out and about in Canaan Valley while we listened to the thunderstorms roll over the mountains each evening. This would certainly be a fine place for folks (especially with kids -- there were two sets of bunk beds in the loft) to use a base for their WV adventures any time of year!

This rental was absolutely great! The host was super sweet and extremely flexible with checking in and out, which meet our needs! Lots to do for our kids, beautiful scenery, and very well kept. Highly recommend and would like to come back again!

Located close enough to the river to hear it from the cabin. Good fishing within steps of the cabin. Had a relaxing time and it’s a great place to get away.

Great little home with tons to do in the area. We had a great visit! Went skiing, hiking and sledding. Would book again.

This was a wonderful little cabin in the woods. Definitely need a 4WD/AWD car for the snowy months. Overall wonderful experience with our dogs!

Otters Den was a great getaway and the owners were super awesome flexible etc. we definitely will be back.

Very nice place. Peaceful and relaxing. Just what we were looking for on a weekend getaway trip to do trout fishing and enjoying the scenic views of nature and the bright stars at night. House was fully furnished with all supplies in the kitchen, bath and bedding. Grilling out on the pellet stove and setting out by the fire at night was enjoyable. We will stay again sometime on our adventures.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was exceptionally well-appointed, clean, and serene. I highly recommend this establishment to everyone; it is an exceptional place.

This spot is very far off the road. We wish we would have stayed longer. We brought so many things that were already provided, we could have packed much lighter. Pansy went above and beyond, the place was even decorated for the holiday. I wish we could have enjoyed the provided treats. Even though the weather was quite cold and snowed we stayed warm without any issues. Can't wait to get back to see Dolly Sods

We had a lovely time at the River Roost. This property was so quant and peaceful . The cabin was adorable , clean and updated . We really enjoyed the country livin'. We visited Davis, WV AND Black Water Falls . Which were about 40 mins away and the drive was absolutely scenic .We loved walking down to sit by the river . The farm we were on had beautiful views perfect for watching sunrises and sunsets. The hosts were helpful and responsive . Thank you for having us :)

This was our second stay at this cabin, we love it! Sheree is always so lovely and responsive! We love this area of WV, and love to make spontaneous trips to it here and there. The area is beautiful and so is this cozy little cabin. We last-minute booked this last time around. Sheree responded immediately and was very sweet and welcoming! Can't wait to stay here again in the future! Thank you again Sheree!

The place and the property was beautiful. Pretty basic, so bring your own towels and pillows and exerts blankets if you get cold easily. But it was clean and beautiful and comfortable. A gorgeous secluded getaway.
