Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Dawlish

We had a wonderful stay at Bridesmere over New Year and it was just what we needed. Peaceful, beautiful area, lovely comfortable home from home. We appreciated the enclosed garden for our spaniel, the beautiful and spacious bedrooms and the living area which was large enough for all 7 of us, two families. WiFi was strong upstairs so no issue with all of us connected and the tv had all apps we needed to watch films with no buffering. There is a beautiful walk through the forest along the river just minutes from the house which leads to a very nice pub serving good food. As other reviews mention, the kids room smells a little musty/damp but this was not a huge issue and we opened the bathroom window after showering which helped. Kitchen well stocked but knives are a little blunt! Children loved the games barn and not having to bring bikes with us was really helpful and appreciated. Overall we couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay and we would definitely return. Thank you for having us.

Brilliant house with stunning views and great amenities. Host was always quick to respond and very helpful with plenty of recommendations for local pubs and restaurants. Would highly recommend for any large groups or families looking for a long weekend away to switch off.

We had such a lovely week here over Easter. The views are to die for at this property, and even on the odd rainy day it was simply a pleasure to be in this house soaking up the wonderful views all around. Hot tub was also amazing and loads of lovely places to sit outside too. The beds were super comfy and the place peaceful, but also pubs and Dartmouth just a step away. Mark was a super helpful host as well. Thank you 😊

This place is wonderful! beautifully clean, tidy, comfy beds and furniture and some nice touches like a big bag of popcorn in the cinema room! There was so much space for the whole family and the house caters for all age groups...and the dog! We had mostly great weather and so went to Goodrington Beach for the morning which was only 10 mins away, but could have spent the whole weekend in the house no problem, as it was so well equipped. Would highly recommend for a big family get-together...we will be returning!

Rebecca was super responsive and helpful. We were a family of 8 adults and two toddlers and we all loved it. Excellent place for children, stair gates, high chairs included. So helpful. The park area was great and lots to do in the local vicinity. Thank you Rebecca your place is stunning.

A fabulous, well-equipped house in a superb location. Very peaceful and beautiful countryside setting. Perfect for our family gathering. I would thoroughly recommend it and would love to stay here again.

We can’t thank Andy enough for such an amazing stay. He was so helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble. Towels were supplied, everything you need kitchen wise were also supplied, we were made to feel at home from the moment we got there. The views are spectacular, and we got so lucky with the weather. Andy was quick to recommend places to see/places to eat in and around Kingsbridge which in its self was beautiful. He stocked the fire and wood up for us every morning and even warned us about the hot tub temperature (as we would’ve been cooking like lobsters after we heated it abit too much😂). I highly recommend this place and it was well worth the 7 hour drive there and back. 1000 character reviews just aren’t enough for how helpful and welcoming Andy was. We will definitely be back! Warm and comfortable in beautiful countryside with amazing views. Lots to see in the surrounding area, fantastic food at the local pub and we all loved the hot tub.

The peaceful setting and aspect of this Cabin was magical. Where can you sit in a hot tub staring at the stars and hear owls and foxes? The firepit bbq is a joy to use - fundamentally basic and perfect for searing.

Wow! What a place! It sounds a cliche but we will definitely be visiting again! Next time for more than one evening. We’re already looking through the diary for the next available weekend. It was everything we expected and more. We stayed as it was as close to an event we were attending that evening. Upon arrival we were worried about getting a taxi to an event as uber didn’t work well in the area. Jill (the host) kindly asked what time we needed to be there and what time we needed to be collected and she organised it all. She really went above and beyond what was expected and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for more

We had such a lovely, peaceful stay at Tim’s place. The lodge is even better than the photos and the quality of beds, linen, etc was really high quality - both the adults and children in our group all slept better than at home! The hot tub was a real highlight for us, brilliant size and ready for us to use as soon as we arrived. Tim was really responsive and available to answer any questions we had. Loved the location - highly recommend visiting “Outside” up the lane for a bite to eat and a drink

Loved our stay , was very cosy and pretty place. had everything we needed inside. Hot tub and fire were a bonus. All the animals on the farm were lovely to see. layout was great. greta stay

Nathan was very friendly and very informative regarding places to eat and local surroundings etc. our stay was great loved the record player and even got back in hottub at 6am to see the sunrise. memorable is all I can say.

Amazing stay, was so peaceful, perfect location to visit lyford gorge and Dartmoor national park ! The hot tub as the Perfect wind down for the evening & the fire over the views outside was amazing late evening. Hosts are friendly & great community on site! Also waking up in the morning hearing the birds was the icing on the cake and thank you for our gifts on arrival, it was very much needed after a 4 hour drive. Would 100% recommend to anyone. Would highly recommend. The host was very responsive and always on hand if needed. The area is lovely and quiet and the lodge itself was very clean, well equipped and warm/comfortable. You also get access to the ponds, zip line and swing for kids. Hot tub was also a great bonus. I’d say the photos don’t do it justice, the lodge itself is nicer and larger than it looks on the pictures. Also a lovely local pub 20mins walk away (1mile max walk) and coast is only 30mins drive. Would consider returning.
