Kid-friendly holiday rentals in De Cocksdorp

We arrived from Canada for my Niece's wedding. We needed accommodations for five, hotels were not an option with our number. Frank from early on said he could easily accommodate more which he could. Frank was such a great host. He met us explained where everything was inside the Air B N B and in Castricum. For the price and location you can't do any better. We will definitely try to come again when there is no wedding to attend.

My family and I felt right at home. It was absolutely as described. Very idyllic, quiet and as soon as the sun came out a dream to spend time outside. Anita was super sweet and even brought some cake. It was really great and this beautiful property just a dream.

We had a good time and felt very comfortable. Our kids loved the garden and the quiet bungalow park. From Dirkshorn you have short distances to do a lot, whether on the beach, in cities for strolling, canoeing, etc. We will be back.

What a wonderful place right on the entrance to the Schoorlse Duinen. The spacious garden makes you feel in nature anyway. The house is lightly dated, but very cozily decorated, you feel at home without effort. Sabine is a nice host, who prepared a bottle of apple juice and a bottle of wine as a welcome. Also very much appreciated: of all the necessities for cooking, laundry and dishes there was ample available. We'd love to come back here again.

Nice and modern cottage, with all the comforts. Henk is also a very friendly and flexible host: we were very grateful to him for the possibility to sleep in on the Monday after the Berenloop! I highly recommend this cottage!!

We really enjoyed staying in Victor's house, which is about half an hour outside of Amsterdam. The cottage itself was beautiful, clean and spacious with a comfortable living/dining area and a porch that looked out over fields and their two horses. We enjoyed visits from the friendly dogs and slept well. Victor was always quick to answer any questions we had and gave us lots of good advice. It was easy to get into Amsterdam. We rented a car, but we also could have gotten there pretty easily by public transport (although grocery shopping would have been harder). We loved Middelie and definitely would like to go back and spend some time there in the summer!

Wonderfull house. Supermarkets close by (5 minutes by car). Well equipped kitchen great living room and bedrooms. We used the sunny terrace a lot for breakfast and dinner. We would definitely rent the house again.

We stayed on Texel for a weekend. I definitely recommend the to book Kim's airbnb. The rooms were very clean and it is in a nice location.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Herke's place. Every morning we were greeted by the pigs😊. The accommodation is very clean and cozy and the surroundings are fantastic. Very very beautiful sunrise and sunset.

We stayed not only in the apartment, but also in the farmhouse. Really a wonderful stay! Had a great time with some friendly couples. Maaike was pleasant to deal with and trusted us in her house and in the care of cat and chickens. Very special!

We were personally welcomed in this lovely apartment with a beautiful view of the Alkmaar skyline. Highly recommended!

We had really super nice days on Ameland, partly because of the nice stay with Corrie and her husband. Very sweet people and nice communication. Also very nice that there were bicycles available that we could use! So recommend a lot!

We stayed at Airbnb for a week and it was really great ! The apartment exactly matches the photos and is right in the city center - not far from many small shops, cafes and restaurants. The communication was also very pleasant - we knew we could always get in touch with questions... with Sylvia.

Fantastic place to stay. Close to the center, everything is within walking distance. The apartment was equipped with all the comforts and nice and modern, definitely recommended. The communication went smoothly and the Nuki app to open the doors works great (Front door and your apartment door). So if you stay in Alkmaar for a weekend, this is a top place! I'm happy to rent again from Johnson, one of the friendliest hosts I've experienced.

Amazing accomodation! Alkmaar was an absolutely beautiful town, and this lovely apartment was right in the centre. The views are stunning and the place was spotless. Highly recommend :)

Excellent apartment, great location. This is our 2nd time staying here and will be back again. Diwa was excellent host, asked her to recommend a taxi firm and she had a taxi arranged to pick us up next morning, can’t beat service like that.

Small nice apartment that we found clean, centrally located, yet quiet . Comfortable beds, bathroom mini but it is completely sufficient . We will be happy to come back. Sandra

We had a wonderful stay, it was a perfect spot for us

Beautiful spacious room in a 16th century cottage. Well and modernly furnished with good heating and air conditioning. The cottage is cleverly arranged with a nice small bathroom with toilet. Supermarket, garage parking (€15/24h), restaurants and city center all within a 10 minute walk. Akke is a warm friendly host with a good story. She will show you around and make you feel welcome. If she can't open, you can also enter the cottage independently with a code. In short, great location for a good price on the edge of the historic city center of Alkmaar.

We felt very comfortable with Olga. The area is very quiet and you can quickly walk to the center of Bergen. A good starting point for activities. The apartment is very clean. A small heating problem could be solved quickly and satisfactorily. We'd love to come back
