Cottage holiday rentals in Denmark

We have been there for the third year in a row and feel very comfortable every time. The house is great even with children, it is totally central and you have everything you need. Hans and Lene are great hosts and are always making every effort to ensure that you have a pleasant stay in their home. We will be happy to come back!

The place was just great! The apartment was beautiful and very tastefully decorated – you immediately notice that a lot of love for detail was worked here. We particularly liked the quiet location, which allowed us to really relax and enjoy the Danish hospitality. We can only highly recommend this property and would come back again anytime!

We have really enjoyed our stay at Lasse's lovely summerhouse. We were 2 adults and 2 kids 7 years old - the place was perfect for all of us. The house has a cozy and homely decor and we immediately felt very comfortable. We enjoyed both the house inside and also spent a lot of time on the terrace, where we could look at beautiful nature and hear the bird whistle. It's easy to get to Nordby, where we found good eateries. We can definitely recommend the house to others and would love to come back again ourselves.

Such a great getaway spot! Had a great time staying here. The place is super cozy and has a really calm, peaceful vibe, perfect for unplugging for a bit. One of the highlights was definitely the Nordic bath, nothing beats a hot soak under the stars. Also loved being just a short walk from the beach. The house itself is stylish and comfy, with everything you need. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into the little details. The host was lovely and made everything easy from start to finish. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a chill escape close to nature!

3 wonderful days with my family in beautiful and quiet surroundings. Day trips by car to Silkeborg and Aarhus, where we took a route on Himmelbjerget and visited Aros. Cozy mornings and evenings in the lovely countryside home with games, tea, and candles. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to try the wilderness bath, which was right out on the terrace.

We felt at home in the house. The host was available at all times and the house was exactly as described. Very clean and equipped with everything you might need. Great value for money, which I haven't found yet. We will be happy to come back in the future if we can. Many thanks for the great and relaxing week in Denmark.

Lovely authentic and cozy little cabin. filled with nature both around and inside cabin. John is a really nice host with great local knowledge. Everything nice and clean, nothing is missing.

The place was lovingly decorated , great amenities . If you have any questions , we got helpful answers after a short time. We really liked it ... Clear recommendation 👍👍

Lovely stay with peace and quiet in the forest but still close to the beach.

Had a lovely few days in this beautiful old cottage. A perfect base to explore the island. Love the patio and gazebo for outdoor dining in the sunshine!

An older cottage home, with a lovely view and very short walking distance to the water. Everything worked as it should be inside the house. Lovely quiet place with lots of nice nature right outside the door.

It was a nice short vacation in a modern vacation home on a beautiful and quiet natural property. The house has everything necessary to enjoy a nice vacation. Dealing with the landlady Esther was very friendly and honest. The two of us and the dog will be happy to come back.

The house was easy to find, tucked away in a private quiet corner with a beautiful sweeping driveway and circular graveled area to approach the house. Mature plants and a lawn… it felt like coming home to my childhood sanctuary and parent’s well cared for home. So perfect. Inside Steffen left essentials for the night (toilet roll, soap, washing up liquid and dishcloths etc) so all we needed to buy from the nearby shops (walking distance) was coffee and tea. He even thoughtfully left us a few coffee filters. The rooms were immaculate. White sheets and towels. Good quality blinds and curtains so we could sleep well and a feeling of complete safety and peace. Two lounges, a big desk (we used for puzzles) and a stunning dining room in-front of panoramic windows, not to mention the outside seating zones and the kitchen all allowed everyone to spread out and find their spots to relax. We took a brief stroll along the beach and pier, photos as the sun went down in the garden. Fab!

We spent an extended weekend there and it was beautiful. The location right on the water was great and the sunrises were an absolute dream! We were there with a child (just over 1 year) and a dog and thanks to the fenced garden and the lockable veranda it was very relaxed with both. For a longer stay, a real toilet and a warm shower are missing, but for a few days it was absolutely perfect and beautiful! We will be happy to come back!

A really cozy and charming summerhouse. Exactly like a summer house should be. We'd love to come again.

We had a wonderful week in Martin's cozy child-friendly cottage. Especially great were the large garden with swing and treehouse and the proximity of the beach. In addition, the garden around the house offers plenty of space and tranquility. There was nothing missing in the house, even a waffle iron was there.

Catja's house is super cozy, spacious, and has everything you need for a good holiday. The garden is large and nice with cozy nooks and fire pit. We even saw a deer! Highly recommended 🙂

Beautiful, cozy cottage in the best location right on the beach. Great decor with everything you need. Ocean view at all meals, fantastic sunsets in the evening and a sauna - what more could you ask for? Our whole family felt very comfortable and would have preferred never to leave again. :-)

We had an incredible stay! If you want a secluded paradise to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life Lotte’s place is the ultimate spot. Just a short walk from an uncrowded beach, this charming vacation home offers the perfect balance of tranquility and luxury, making it an unforgettable getaway. The spacious open floor plan makes it comfortable for relaxing with the living area bathed in natural light. Large windows offer stunning views of the lush backyard and the surrounding greenery. Every corner of the house exudes warmth and charm, making it feel like a true home away from home. Last but not least is the expansive backyard. It's a private oasis, surrounded by blooming flowers providing a perfect blend of shade and sunshine. Whether you're lounging with a good book, playing games on the grass, or enjoying a meal al fresco, the backyard is a versatile space that invites you to unwind and soak in the peaceful surroundings. We had an amazing time and highly recommend!!

Super little cottage - we were two couples for an extended weekend. It seemed perfect. There was everything we needed, well-equipped kitchen and cozy decor - everything neat, tidy, well-maintained and tasteful.

We've had a wonderful week in Per's lovely house, spent New Year's Eve here. Per is an amazing host, very friendly and very communicative, always helpful and immediately responding to messages. His house is a beautiful piece of art, located right at the beach - which you can see, hear and smell. Lovely! :) Several cozy spots within the house to relax and chill, with a very nice Danish interior design. Great kitchen and even a nice chimney, which made the stay even more cozy and romantic, because we had back luck with the weather. Just 10 minutes with the car to get to Hundested harbour, where you can find supermarkets, nice cafes and restaurants. You could even walk alongside the beach (4km) when the weather is nice. We pretty much enjoyed every minute, even though we had to leave earlier than expected due to family reasons. But we plan to come back as soon as possible. Thanks for having us, dear Per!
