Cottage holiday rentals in Derby

John was a welcoming host and his house was perfect. Clean on arrival, lovely and warm, and a safe enclosed garden. John had the hot tub warm, ready to use on arrival which was a luxury compared to needing to wait at some places. The house had all the amenities we needed and was a lovely place to stay.

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay, so dog friendly too our pup loved it. Wished we had booked 2 nights as one just wasn’t enough. We didn’t want to leave ! Great host, the place was pristine, comfy beds, gorgeous decor. We will 100% be back!

This place is probably our favourite Airbnb yet. It’s perfect for a quiet break, the location is lovely and close to our favourite walks on Curbar Edge and Froggatt Edge. A very quiet, well designed cottage with interesting, quirky contemporary touches combined with original features. It was well equipped, with a private hot tub and friendly, helpful owners. We will definitely be back. Thanks Matt and Ginny!

Esther’s place was wonderful. We were a large group of friends with lots of young children. The place is spotless, spacious and very well equipped, especially for the kids with toys galore. Esther was very responsive with communication and helpful. The beds were also very comfortable! Despite the bad weather (as expected this time of year) our stay was magical, thank you so much Esther!

We had such a lovely stay at Sandra’s place. The cottage was beautiful and hot tub was a great addition. It was set up and ready for us when we got there! Everything we needed was there including a Bose speaker and some extra goodies! Sandra was great with communication and all instructions to get in etc were very helpful and easy to follow. The place was so peaceful and secure and we loved daisy the cow! Thank you so much, we look forward to coming back soon! Would definitely recommend.

Parwich is such a beautiful friendly village, the public house does the most delicious food, the cottage was cosy, with a nice & warm log burner, the hot tub was fab so relaxing, we also had the best nights sleep we have had in a long time, a big thank you to the hosts Caroline & Paul who were there if you needed them, we had an enjoyable relaxing couple of days .

We had a lovely stay at lime tree cottage. It was peaceful and in a lovely location. The hot tub was the icing on the cake! Lots of walking routes close by and a good selection of pubs and cafes within a short distance. Would highly recommend!

We spent a delightful 3 nights at Rosie’s cottage, enjoying the cosy comfort and amazing views while catching up with friends. All was as described, with comfortable beds, well equipped & with good amenities & thoughtful extras for both dogs & humans! The locals were friendly & helpful with parking & advice & we had an enjoyable meal in the dog friendly Bulls Head hotel. There are good local walks by the river & Bakewell & Chatsworth are within easy reach. Would happily return for a future stay.

We had a very relaxing holiday staying in this beautiful cottage. It was immaculate and so cosy to return to after a walk in the surrounding beautiful countryside. The cottage was perfect and everything had been thought of to make it a very comfortable stay. The location is perfect for exploring Derbyshire and we found lots of lovely coffee shops and pubs, including the ones in the village.

We had a wonderful stay at Sam and Annie’s place. The cottage is so spacious for two people, and was very comfortable. Lots of hot water and plenty of firewood to keep the fire going. Just down the road from the Monsal Trail, we enjoyed walking into Bakewell and exploring the area. The local pub does great food too! We would happily return. Sam and Annie were always reachable and willing to help with whatever we needed. Thanks again!!

we can't thank Wendy enough for letting us stay in her home. It is a gorgeous home from home cottage. She has literally thought of every single detail even down to hot water bottles and lego for ghe children. Our whole family did not want to leave. The cottage was absolutely spotless on arrival. Beds are extremely comfortable! Location is perfect aswell. Wendy gave full instructions to make our stay so easy We hope to visit again soon *****

Lovely stay and right in the middle of things for walking and exploring.

Had a great stay at the cottage, it was a great location to get into Buxton and surrounding areas. Allie and her family were available when needed and were friendly and showed us the cows up close but gave us plenty of space. It didn't feel like you were on top of each other at the farm. The cottage was really nice itself and clean with the surrounding areas really beautiful. Would recommend the cafe at the bottom of the lane (2 min DRIVE) and the red lion pub in Litton( 5/10 min drive) the food in both places were really nice. Would definitely recommend this stay and I will be back if I'm ever visiting the area again!

An amazing property, best I’ve booked on Airbnb. Beautifully presented, extremely clean and very well stocked. You can tell the love and care that has gone into creating this rental and Julie clearly has very good taste. Everything you could possibly need - Julie has included it and she’s gone the extra mile with lovely extra touches. The cottage is well located right in the heart of Tideswell with walks and restaurants on your doorstep. If you have a dog, the boot room outside is fantastic with its warm shower and Julie even supplies dog towels and shampoo. I cannot recommend this property enough and we’ll most certainly be back!

Great cottage, cosy and comfortable! Location was great for getting around and visiting Belper and surrounding areas. All amenities as described and a useful amount of cleaning products on site to ensure comfort. Sarah & Sam were great hosts and very quick to answer any questions. Highly recommend this house and hope to book again on our return!

Black Cat cottage is a lovely place. stunning location and is wonderfully set up and very clean. Chris is very friendly and helpful.

Our party of 3 couples really enjoyed our stay in this lovely, comfortable cottage. The kitchen is spacious and very well equipped and the lounge very cosy, with enough comfy seating for us all. Youlgreave is a beautiful village with many options for walks directly from the house. Communication with Simon and Jen was excellent and we would definitely recommend their cottage as a great base from which to explore this beautiful area.

Cosy, quiet, quaint, warm cottage. Had everything you need. Chris is very friendly and full of information. Beds are comfy, great nights sleep. Great location in the village and ideal for visiting the Peak District. We stayed as a family of 4, parents and 2 teenage boys and all felt at home.

This was the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in, the house was decorated lovely, the little added extras were amazing and was a perfect location for Bakewell town to walk into where we had some lovely dinners at the Rutland Arms hotel and The Woodyard. I would without a doubt recommend this Airbnb. Thanks Helen for creating such a wonderful place to stay for our family!

Very nice and easy stay

We had a great New Year's Eve in Winster - Rod's place was just what we were after. Comfy beds, lots of hot water after our walks and a very well equipped kitchen to cook up a storm! Winster is a lovely village, and an ideal jumping off point to explore the local area.
