Susie is an amazing host with a beautiful property. Sadly we were there for work and we were not able to take advantage of all of the amazing amenities that are on offer. Special mention to the complimentary pantry and incredible offering of home cooked meals if required! I will be back and knocking in Susie's door again in the future.

This is a delightful place to stay in the gorgeous Huon valley. My 7-year-old loved feeding the chickens and patting the horses. Terese made us very welcome and provided us with thoughtful recommendations on activities ( I would strongly recommend the fossil beach! ). The accommodation was very comfortable and the breakfast (with fresh eggs, local bread and delicious jam) and coffee machine were thoroughly appreciated. Thank you for a lovely stay.

What a fabulous farm stay! This eco-retreat is a great experience for families. We were welcomed by Grant and given great advice about what to do around the area- Mt Field National Park was all we needed for adventure as the property also provided us with beautiful short walks, spectacular views and a peaceful stay. There were many homely activities to do but we didn’t get to experience it all. The produce in the garden is amazing, particularly the berries for our January stay and we’re thankful it’s shared for guests. The wholistic living was complimented by wildlife and a nicely decorated cottage stay.

We had such a cosy comfortable stay at Grant and Marieke’s cottage. Grant was super friendly, greeted us on arrival and gave some great advice on things to do not only around the property, but around the national park and surrounds. We had a couple of fresh eggs in a basket and some yummy treats as well. Grant had the cottage heating nicely when we arrived as well. We would definitely stay again!

Jenny’s place is ideal for any type of getaway and family. It fitted the bill for us and is exactly as marketed or better. Beautiful old trees on the property. Highly recommend.

Belinda’s place was wonderful. We had a lovely time and enjoyed every single day we stayed. Would definitely stay there again and definitely recommend to everybody.

Sassafras Springs is a slice of heaven on earth. Beautiful views, remote ish, forested trails, garden, black cockatoos. Grant provided exceptional communications from start to finish. Looking forward to returning!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming house! The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the antique furniture added a unique touch to the cozy atmosphere. Chris and Kaye were welcoming and friendly. Their friendly dog Lucy and cat Stella were delightful companions. Highly recommend this lovely retreat!

This place is extraordinary! We absolutely loved our time here. The home and surroundings are peaceful and beautiful with many extra touches. We had pademelons peaking into our slide glass door in the morning and were able to see their resident platypus in the river late afternoon. The hosts are friendly, responsive and welcoming. We regretted not ordering dinner from them in advance. Great base for exploring the south and hiking Hartz Peak. Highly recommend.

Awesome place, very close to good food and national park. Beautiful spot with lots of wildlife and a beautiful garden. One of our favourite places in Tassie.

Julie’s house was absolutely perfect for our family get together. The house is perfectly setup for kids and adults, it’s is very clean and well maintained. The outlook is beautiful and given the northerly aspect and elevation make it great for getting all day sun and beautiful sky’s at night.Julie, Richard, Luke and Kiri were perfect hoists. The house is spotless and beautifully designed and built. I couldn’t recommend this stay more highly … great value and an amazing Huon valley stay. Thanks for a great stay. Cheers Andrew + family

We had a great few days at Riverdance! The house was comfortable and spacious. Renee was a great host and even allowed my kids to feel the alpaca’s which as a highlight for them. We would definitely stay again.

Thank you Gil and June, the cottage was a wonderful relaxing retreat for us for our 25th wedding anniversary. The cottage itself is beautiful, clean, spacious and warm. It was fantastic to see all the birds, rabbits and pademelons wandering the grounds and even the resident platypus in the pond/billabong. We will definitely be back!
