Apartment holiday rentals in Devonport

We were lucky enough to stay at Joanna's place for a long weekend as we were visiting Plymouth for a friend's birthday. From the moment of booking communication was excellent and we were sent clear instructions for checking in. The accomodation is exactly as described, beautifully decorated, well supplied with anything you could need, and so spacious. We especially appreciated the milk, coffee and teabags for when we first arrived. The property sits back from the road so there is no sound of traffic. The most comfortable beds with good quality linen, and we all agreed we'd slept so well. Lots of clear instructions within the flat and books, maps and information on Plymouth and the surrounding area. We took a very leisurely walk to Plymouth Hoe which took approximately 40 minutes. Lots of places to eat and drink, and small and interesting shops to visit. We travelled by train and took cabs several times, which we thought good value. We would love to visit again. Thank you :-)

Another fab stay at Mo’s - the location is perfect, and the apartment has everything you need. Highly recommend, we’ll be back again soon!

We booked a fairly last minute week for a family trip and we’re so glad we did!! The apartment was brilliantly situated and absolutely perfect for a family trip. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could want and everything was pristine clean. The hosts were so responsive and easy to contact and helped us with a few questions we had. Would absolutely recommend and can’t wait to book again soon.

We really enjoyed staying at Mark and Jo’s place, the accommodation is spacious and equipped with everything. The location is outstanding, so close to the center of Polperro yet quiet and private. above all Mark and Jo have been amazing from checkin to checkout. The welcome cream tea, as other reviewers noted, is just the icing of the cake, we really appreciated it, and became our preferred breakfast for the rest of our journey in Cornwall

Carl was wonderful. Having a separate kitchen was amazing. The outdoor space was really good and calming with the stream flowing in the garden. Bed was very comfy too. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Overall, I was satisfied with the accommodation. It was close to the sea, making it great for walks, and she kindly allowed an early check-in

It was a lovely stay. The place had everything I needed and the host was very helpful. A smart looking amd comfy spot with a fully functional kitchen.

We needed a place to stay overnight after a wedding do a few miles away and The Annexe was perfect and was just as described. We didn't spend much time exploring the area as we were just there for the wedding but Paul was a great host and we were left clear instructions and he responded quickly to a couple of queries I had. If I needed somewhere in the area in the future, I would be very happy to stay there again.

Graham's flat is exactly as described: in a quiet location but 2 minutes from the bustle of Mutley Plain's shops, restaurants and bars. It's warm, clean and has comfy beds. As Graham says, be very careful when parking- one end of College Avenue is free after 10am on Saturday but not the end near the flat. The welcome treat was a bonus! I'd have no hesitation to book again.

We loved our little flat right in the centre of town. Ian and Jack were very responsive and helpful hosts. We only stayed a few days but we would certainly stay here again!

Absolutely fantastic. Went with newborn and dog and she was so welcoming and even set the annex to 18degrees so it was comfortable for baby upon arrival. above and beyond responses to ensure we were ok and the place itself was just what we needed to provide calm place to sleep at night around visiting all our in laws

We had a lovely stay, in the perfect location. The flat is very comfortable, with everything you need and some super extras. Everything about it met our needs perfectly and we had such a warm welcome when we arrived. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be returning soon.

This property is located within the fantastic Royal William Yard with amazing views of the estuary, harbours, bars & restaurants. Upon locating parking (arranged by host) we located the studio apartment (clear instructions by host). The studio apartment didn’t fail to please, it was nicely presented, good utilities, towels, cleaning products, tv, stereo, comfortable sofa bed, table & chairs etc. Kevin clearly has/had everyone’s comfort in mind. Apart from the occasional corridor noise the block was very quiet, lovely for down time! We will certainly add Kevin’s Studio Apartment to our return to list.

It was just a delightful stay, from start to finish. Patricia was most welcoming, friendly and responsive. Her place had so many wonderful extras and details taken care of... breakfast foods, fruit, milk, butter, many kinds of tea and coffee. Tiny details in the bathroom that matter - like plasters, enough hanging space for towels. All cleaning materials provided. Enough space to unpack suitcases in a Calax, big drawer under the bed, a hanging rail with hangers. Parking was just across the road, and a co-op literally 2 doors away. It could not have been more perfect. In summer, the garden will be incredible to sit in (we visited in winter so indoors was more comfy). Highly recommended - thank you Patricia!

A lovely stay in a beautiful location. The apartment had top quality furnishings and fittings, was comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped with plenty of tea and coffee. We loved the balcony and window seat from which we read our books and watched the world go by. There’s an on-site Leisure Club which looked great though we didn’t use it on this occasion other than for a good meal in the Deck where staff were very friendly. We enjoyed a trip to Burgh Island on the sea tractor for lunch and Afternoon Tea and what a treat! Staff were delightful, the food and drinks delicious and the decor superb! With good walks on the doorstep and easy access to the beach this is an ideal place to visit at any time of year. Christopher and Tanya were excellent hosts, gave clear access instructions and responded quickly to our queries. Thank you once again and hope to return one day:) Roger & Jennette

Absolutely loved our stay!! Tara was extremely helpful upon check-in, and greeted us at the lodge on our arrival. She had a cream tea waiting for us which was delicious! Tara also offered us a lift into Looe if we needed (especially if it was raining) which we were very appreciative of. The spacious accommodation was spotless, and Tara provided everything you could possibly need to make it a home-from-home, from kitchen cooking and cleaning essentials to a washing machine and ironing board. Despite the British winter weather, we enjoyed using the hot tub in the evenings and the view from the garden overlooking the river was breathtaking. A very comfortable place to stay and we would definitely return. Thank you for your hospitality Tara!

We had such a lovely stay at Sheila’s place. From the moment we booked Sheila was very communicative and helpful. Upon arrival everything was exactly as stated and there were even some welcome goodies for us! Sheila was super friendly and came to greet us shortly after our arrival, she recommended some great places to visit. Our dog had the best time on the local beaches and walking paths, there was plenty to do straight from the apartment and a short drive away. There were also a lot of restaurants to try. Sheila’s place is the perfect mixture of serenity, fantastic views and lots to do without venturing too far… we got so comfortable with the apartment and the view we even stayed ‘home’ quite a lot because we liked it so much! Would highly recommended a visit.

The property was just as advertised. Had to drive through a country road to get to it but the instructions were very clear so we found it very easily. The property is so close to Salcombe, it’s easy to get around and we used the local Tesco to buy the food we needed for our stay which was again easy to find and just a short drive away. Overall the property was very clean however we were slightly disappointed when it came to using the BBQ that was supplied, it still had residual food from previous guests on it so we had to give it a good clean before we could use it. We also wrongly assumed there would be coal in the BBQ so had to go back to the shop to get some when we realised there wasn’t, so if you’d like a BBQ, be sure to add coal to your shopping list! We loved the hot tub! It was beautifully clean and easy to use, lovely sitting out in the evenings with the patio area all lit up. We would definitely stay again, we had a lovely couple days in a beautiful property and area.

We opted for no cleaner so we gave the place a good clean on arrival and when we left, as long as you don’t mind doing that then there’s no problem with that option but it’s nice to have the choice of having someone do it for you! The location was good for what we wanted though the nearest pub is a decent walk up a huge hill away (Journeys End). The seafront is not far at all, 7 mins walk. The view from the lounge window is lovely of big rolling hills. Pam was attentive and available throughout. Thanks very much for a lovely stay xx

A lovely place in Cornwall. It was as much the little touches as the location and the indoor swimming pool which made this a great stay for our family. We enjoyed visiting local villages and beaches, spent some time stargazing outside as there are no street lights to distract. We made full use of the swimming pool and hot tub. And one thing that might not seem important was having sharp knives and sharpener (all in a box out of reach of tiny fingers). Thanks Terri and team for making our stay so enjoyable.

Lovely stay. Great place, great location. Lots to do even if the weather wasn’t good. Super dog walking field. They left us scones, jam and cream too. We plan to go back. Thanks!
