Loft holiday rentals in Santo Domingo de Guzman

Great place to stay around colonial Santo Domingo. Quiet/peaceful and private. Only a few feet away from great restaurants, museums, etc. Objections: to get to the bedroom one has to climb a set of stairs and back down to the bathroom, and viceversa. Great for younger adults, but not for the elderly, children, and/or handicap. There were few issues with the cleaning and some furniture has seen better days, but okay for the price. We also notice the toilet cover didn't really fit the actual toilet opening. Not enough towels. TV somehow a little difficult to view from the bed. Very important: air conditioner does not worki well. However; Inocencia, the co-host, was 100% of the time ready and willing to help. Also, Antonio and Inocencia were very helpful in arranging for this this other reservation.

Myself and 2 friends stayed at Antonio’s beautiful studio apartment in Santo Domingo last weekend. I was instantly impressed with the location of the Airbnb. It was right in the heart of the colonial zone, where you can safely walk to different historical sites, restaurants, shops and bars! The Airbnb was on a beautiful side street, so it was quiet and peaceful at night time - you would not have known you were in a prime location! The studio itself was perfect, as it had all that we needed and it was clean! We really enjoyed our stay here and I would definitely stay again! Thank you for hosting us

Very nice accommodation in a quiet side street in the historic center of Santo Domingo. All historical attractions, museums and restaurants are within easy walking distance. Communication with Antonio and especially with Inocencia was very quick and friendly. To communicate in the Dominican Republic, a working internet connection is absolutely necessary, the message with the key code no longer reached us. However, Inocencia was immediately available on the phone and helped us. A good internet connection is available in the apartment. The apartment is highly recommended, we felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

Our stay at Ricardo’s place was absolutely perfect! The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Ricardo was incredibly responsive and accommodating, making check-in and communication a breeze.

The penthouse apartment is very spacious and in the center of many activities including restaurants and shopping. In the morning there is an amazing breeze that fills the living room space and the sunlight is also wonderful. There is also a pool table in the top floor of the penthouse which is also spacious. Our hostess Johanna and her family were gracious and very attentive to our needs. We highly recommend this apartment.

I've stayed at this location several times. The host was always responsive to concerns.

Great place.. only inconvenience was local construction which was out of the host’s control. Other than that, my stay went well and I would stay there again.

Joel does not live on site he cannot meet all our expectations but the presence of an extremely friendly and very responsive co-host makes it possible to have a very nice stay in this studio.

Our stay was good, we took advantage of the free gated parking right in front of the building. Only downside is you can’t access it outside of the working hours of the Museo del Ambar but free street parking is also an option.
