We loved our stay at Jems Eco lodge! For sure an adventure we will never forget. If you love nature you will enjoy your stay so much. This accommodation has a really Cool concept and spirit. We strongly recommend!

Kathy’s place is a wonderful escape from the busy center. The house looked lovely and Kathy also left us avocados from her garden and local tips. Very well equipped kitchen and with the huge and gorgeous garden we couldn’t want more

great place to overnight if you're doing the WNT - segment 13 starts just outside of the village. comfortable space and great morning views, also provided breakfast. recommend to bring your own dinner and food because the village is small and had nothing open to eat when I was there.

We stayed for a week at Julias apartment. It was well presented and had all the amenities that we needed. Julia met us on arrival and was quick to respond at all times. The view from the balcony and kitchen is wonderful, we loved being a part of the local community. We didnt hire a car in the end as the local buses served us well, and we enjoyed seeing this beautiful island from a local perspective. We would definitely return to Julias, if we are fortunate enough to visit Dominica again.

This property is large and comfortable. There are two separate bedrooms and one shared bathroom - ask about how to get hot shower water! The kitchen is large and suitable for cooking "at home" rather than going out for every meal. However, the refrigerator is on the small side. There are two porches overlooking the town & bay; great for reading & chilling. At dusk there were a few mosquitoes but never a problem. Beds were comfortable and equipped with mosquito netting if desired (we didn't need it). Coqui frogs will sing you to sleep. Before arriving ask the host how to get into the parking space; not obvious. All in all, a very nice place to stay that was close to town.

I extended my stay by one more week because the conditions are very good. A clean and comfortable place in an ideal location and the friendly and helpful hostess make the stay very pleasant. Many attractions. (Trafalgar ind Middleham falls, Wotten Waves. Titou gorge can be reached on foot or by minibus.

Great stay, right in the centre of Calibishi, walking distance from super market, rum bars and restaurants across from the ocean.

Waking up to the majestic peaks shrouded in mist was an unforgettable experience. The property itself is beautifully maintained and offers a tranquil escape from the annoyances of everyday life. We spent many peaceful evenings simply relaxing on the porch, soaking in the natural beauty of the island. Thanks!!

Nicki and her husband Naji were amazing hosts. We were unexpectedly stuck without a rental car for 2 days, and they offered us a couple of rides to the nearby hiking areas and Roseau. They also gave us recommendations for things to do all over the island. There are other houses close by, but the place still feels private. The front porch has a view of the mountains and ocean (also a few cars though). There is also a small, very private porch surrounded by trees off the bedroom. The place had fresh flowers in vases, a nice touch. There is a switch to turn on the hot water for the shower - how hot the water will be is a bit random. As others have said, you'll hear dogs and goats, but just here and there, not all day. Naji installed a gate while we were out and about the first day, so now you can choose whether or not to welcome 4-legged visitors. :) If you're walking and taking the bus instead of driving, you'll find that many of the people of Laudat will introduce themselves and chat.

Our days at Casablanca were simply perfect! Very friendly and helpful hosts, who not only welcomed us warmly but also provided us with great tips. Casablanca is perfectly situated for excursions to the island - from here you can easily reach all the many places worth seeing! The house has a breathtaking view of the sea, is very well equipped, clean and simply cosy! Highly recommended!

We were very pleased to be able to stay here on such short notice (less than 24 hours) as the first place we booked was in a very busy area. This spot feels totally secluded and in the middle of nature, but is easily accessible from Roseau and several other locations. The space is obviously loved and maintained by the owners.
