Holiday rentals with lake access in Dorchester County

We very much enjoyed the views of the river from nearly every room in the house! The furnishings (and linens) are like-new and were perfectly spacious for 4 adults & a baby. We’ll be back for our next remote getaway, we love the peacefulness of the area.

The view is incredible and the setting is so peaceful. The kids loved the bunk beds and the master bath with the jacuzzi tub. Phi and Walter were super responsive hosts and responded immediately with help when we shared a few issues. This is a good spot for enjoying Lusby with a group!

Wonderful stay! We had 10 people - 3 generations - and there was something for everyone. The kids (3 and 1) loved the playroom, swings and their adorable rooms. We went on Kayaks and spent a lot of time on the pier catching some fish and a few crabs as well. The yard is a perfect place to read in an Adirondack chair, watch for birds and cook smores. The kitchen is large and we were able to prepare most meals at the house. The screened-in outdoor porch is really nice - with a large dining table as well as comfy seating. The house has water views from most of the rooms. Would highly recommend!

It was absolutely wonderful staying at Joanne's home. It was very comfortable and loved the outdoor firepit. Very peaceful and lovely home. We would love to come back again for another visit.

We had a lovely Christmas here and it was a lovely neighborhood. Friendly neighbors too they helped us jump our car. Beautiful property on the water.

We were so lucky to spend several nights over Thanksgiving here and it was a perfect place to unwind and relax. This is small very comfortable home on a gorgeous property overlooking the river. It was really cold during our stay, so we used the hot tub a lot and enjoyed a warm fire in the outdoor pit. The large picture window in the bedroom was perfect to take in all the beauty outside from the comfortable bed. The home is extremely well-stocked not only with basics and also with lots of extras (too many to list here). The host is very responsive and flexible offering early check in and late check out (without us even asking) and leaving us much appreciated welcome treats. We look forward to coming back in warmer weather so we can be outside a lot more.

A wonderful home. Outdoor setting was stunning and private. The house was incredibly comfortable and beautifully decorated. We visited for Thanksgiving week, with our grown kids. Kitchen had all the basics and we brought extra items for the special meal. Living and dining spaces were comfy and warm, with lots of entertainment options. Wifi was strong, accommodating several of us working - very appreciated! Bedrooms were very comfy. Master was huge, with gorgeous views of the water. Heat and hot water were plentiful. The instructions & descriptions provided were outstanding. Lastly, we appreciated that the home welcomed pets, complete with dog toys & bed :-). Thank you for a fantastic family vacation.

Stayed a month while waiting to mive into our bew home. Loved rgat pets were not only tolerated, but welcomed. The area was great for going on walks as the beach season has passed. Roomy back sunroom for relaxation and playing games was a great space!

We had a wonderful time at this amazing, peaceful farmhouse and property. It is truly a special place. Danial was absolutely great at helping us out when we ran into a small hiccup as you sometimes do at older properties. He was extremely responsive, helpful, and accommodating and we truly appreciated. The fully-fenced in front yard area (I can't remember if that was included in the listing, but it was great1) was a huge bonus for our dogs. This is a wonderful spot for a pet friendly weekend.

A fantastic weekend getaway! Natalie’s home is beautifully located, offers spectacular views, and is incredibly well appointed with thoughtful touches like extra plush towels and spices and coffee. We enjoyed everything and even though the weather did not cooperate we had days of exploring the natural beauty, history, and local towns.

This was an amazing location with a beautify cozy home on the water. There are a lot of amenities that makes unplugging and being away easier but also a solid amount of stores and shops very close by for last minute needs. KJ was incredibly responsive and super helpful. We will likely book this again in future!

We visited the area to go fossil hunting and landed on Kyli's house due to the proximity to the local beaches, Solomons Island, access to a private beach, and the listed amenities. Kylis place was within 20 min in either direction of the local attractions. We LOVED the super soft beds, hot tub, and that we could bring our furry friends. We even found some very cool Ecphora fossils in the private beach the day we checked out. Would happily return in the future, Kyli was responsive and helpful!
