Its very close to Noordhoek beach but also the central attractions of Cape Town via the amazing. Noordhoek is a peaceful character rich place with great restaurants, farm shops, horses and lot and lots of beach and hiking trails. We have a cozy fireplace for winter and BBQ for summer. Situated amongst the olive groves, Olive cottage makes the perfect couples getaway. With its spacious interior, hosting one ensuite airconditioned bedroom, sleeping a max of 2 guests. Bainskloof Mountain Eco Retreat - Black Pearl

NOTE: On the 26th January 2024 Mt Bain Nature reserve was unfortunately ravaged by a wildfire. The cabin was unaffected, but the landscape around the cabin was burnt. I have included some photos in the image gallery in the listing to show how it looks at the moment. We are seeing green shoots and regrowth sprouting up, and it will continue to grow ever more beautiful as the weeks go by! The Black Pearl still offers the same unique and wonderful experience albeit somewhat other worldly.

On the porch/deck you'll have a 180* view of the valley towards the Elandsberge and the Winterhoekberge beyond. In spring the valley will be coloured in patches of green (wheat fields) and yellow (canola fields).There are more than 130+ species of birds on the farm, as well as small antelope.

You’ll love my place because of the location and farm atmosphere, the people, the outdoors space, and the neighborhood. The Wine Tank is an actual tank converted into a small studio.
