Martin and Nadja were very welcoming and friendly hosts. The house is immaculate, newly refurbished and very clean. Lovely location by the lake and just a couple of minutes’ walk to the ferry. Delicious food at local restaurants and cafes recommended by Martin and Nadja. Thank you for our lovely stay!

We spent 6 great days in Matteo's apartment! The location allows to make excursions to Milan as well as to Lake Maggiore (or others). Both can be reached directly from here by train. Behind the house is also a beautiful forest with nice hiking trails. In the kitchen we missed a few things, but the mother (lives upstairs, speaks only Italian) was very kind and helpful. She likes to borrow things. Overall, we were completely satisfied!

Excellent spot with a beautiful view. Plenty of room for 2 people. Kitchen is well equipped to cook home cooked meal and enjoy the beauty of the lake. Check in was smooth and Gian welcomed us and showed us around. Highly recommended!

Sara is a very friendly and responsive host, and the place is absolutely lovely. It was nice staying in a true Walser house, it was charming and spotless. The walk up was fine for us, but just beware if you have any mobility issues at all. We are both 1.83 (6ft), and only needed to duck slightly in the bathroom, we didn’t mind it at all, the place is very cosy! We would (and probably will) stay here again :)

We had a pleasant stay at Ana and Carlos's apartment which allowed us to discover the area. The fireplace is definitely an asset of this place and we enjoyed the evenings by the fire. Everything was clean and tidy, the apartment is tastefully decorated. In March, the brightness on this side of the lake is reduced by the mountains, and the apartment was less bright than in the photos. Which was no problem since we spent our days on the hiking trails.

We spent NYE at Nathalie's place, and it was simply magical. The apartment is wonderful, and that view breathtaking, especially at sunrises. Natahlie has been an amazing host, we did not have a car, and she came picking us up at Arona and drove us to the apartment. Superb experience, highly recommended!

It is a very cozy country house in the middle of the mountains on a small winery. We immediately fell in love with this location. The view of the mountains, Lake Maggiore hidden behind palm trees and pampas grass and the Verzasca dam is sensational. It was clean and everything you could need was there. A bit difficult to find, but thanks to Alberto's accessibility by phone, it went very well. A parking space is also available. You have great hiking opportunities, which Alberto sent us as a recommendation. In nearby Gordola you will also find everything you need. We are very happy to come back. If you walk to Porta Rossa, it's like going into a little fairytale world. Resiga is small and homely, with many alleys, plants, and no matter where you look, you discover something new on every corner. The apartment is located in a very old house and lovingly furnished, a highlight is the romantic courtyard. There is plenty of parking either directly on the lake or slightly up the mountain (each about a 3-minute walk incl. Stairs). The location is very quiet, the equipment perfectly sufficient and the bed very comfortable. There were even heatable in the beds for the cold autumn nights. You can quickly reach the region around Intra by car from where many ferry connections leave, a pizzeria is within walking distance. Birgit was always accommodating and easily accessible. We were very happy to immerse ourselves in the fairytale world of Resiga and highly recommend it to everyone! :)
